I Purchased this because even though i never had an apple laptop i needed to have a peace of mind of knowing i will be okay if my laptop took a virus on it or if i dropped it. why not ? For $300 more? instead of paying for new laptop which is out of the budget for most of us these days. Once you buy it, you don't need to register it since it is automatically goes on the laptop you are putting it on unless you buy it after the laptop was purchased.

if you're going to spend all that money on a new macbook you might as well be safe and have it covered!

I thought it was expensive and don't expect to have to use it but if I do I'll be glad to have it.

I purchased AppleCare for my iPhone and MacBook and I love it. They have been amazing at helping me trouble shoot my issues and getting them resolved ASAP. I love that you can chat online or setup a time to have a representative call you. They are available 24/7 and that makes for even better convince instead of the usual business hours only. It's pricier than others but then again you get what you pay for so I think it's well work it.

Haven't used this yet for my MacBook Air but used it when my MacBook Pro needed a new hard drive and everything was covered until the warranty!!! Definitely worth it. Just wish it covered water damage :(

Always purchase the mac extended warranty for my items. Great added peace of mind for the item.

A little expensive but gives you piece of mind. I’d only get it for large purchases.

The terms and conditions seemed good to mine, plus because I am a college student I got it half of the price. When you are buying something expensive is always good to have some protection .

I thought I was getting a two year plan at point of sale but it seems to be for 3? For the price, I'll take what I can get. Haven't had to try it out yet but hopefully it will come in handy.

What can I say when you spend $1000+ on a product you should protect your investment.

I've always had good luck with Apple products and never used Apple Care. But insurance is insurance just in case. Purchase should depend on how long you intend to keep this product around.

$200 total for $100 a year is not bad to keep your $1000+ laptop safe. Worth it.
