Simply put, this added coverage is required. Something will go wrong past the 1 year warranty. Very nice that Best Buy is offering this instead of having to get it only from Apple

If you buy an Apple product I think you should ALWAYS invest a little more for Apple Care. It has come in handy for me in the past and I will always get Apple Care in the future.

I highly recommend when buying your computer! Even if you don't use it, it is always there for backup. My last problem would have been fixed if I got it the first time around.

Wonderful plan, especially for just in case accidents so if you cord isn't working or if you laptop does something funky you can always take it to Apple and get a free repair

I always buy a protection plan for "large purchases"... pays of to be safe. I had this protection plan for a different computer and I was able to to get it fixed multiple times.

I'd say this is worth the money for new Mac users like me. I use it more for tech support etc and not Mac issues. The Mac is great and only messes up due to user error :)

Most of the time these protection plans are a scam. AppleCare is not. I wouldn't recommend any apple product purchased without it. The support and coverage is invaluable.

Necessary in case of anything. Apple products have a reputation of being reliable, but this allows you to be sure. You can also take it to Geeksquad to utilize your AppleCare.

My daughter will be taking her laptop off to college with her and its reassuring to know she will be able to take care of any issues she has while she is away at college

I trust Geek Squad so much. They are so very knowledgeable. Computer is great, no problems, but if I do, I feel comfortable knowing I have the Geek Squad there ready to help.

they are very friendly ans duper helpful. I typically don't buy the extended care but for some reason I ended up buying this and I am glad I did, it is worth the expense.

I am thankful that I have the three year plan for my Mac. If something happens to my Mac I don't have to worry because I can take it to get it fixed without paying.

Trust me you do not wanna have an apple product without the apple-care!! This is my second Mac, and it definitely came in hand when my first had to go in for diagnostics.
