A little different from the Windows system to access the keys that I need. Also the up-down "arrow" for moving documents or email folders/ messages was a pain initially. There should be an informational booklet with the MAC that gives you at least the basics.

Was going to purchase the newest MacBook Pro without any warranty, but my coworkers MacBook Pro's monitor went out after a year and there is no way I could afford to replace it or fix it. this was the cheapest thing I could do to guarantee this laptop works for 3 years without extra costs. this is a very big investment so this is worth it.

Even though I fully believe Apple's computers are the best on the market, I think it's worth spending $349 to protect your computer for three years. MacBook Pro computers are expensive enough on their own, so why wouldn't you want to protect it with APP?! Spend the money, it will give you piece of mind!!!

I purchased this but Apple gives you a year if you want to wait. I called them for assistance in setting my computer up and to answer some of my questions. The tech on the phone was so patient and kind, answered all of my questions and helped me adjust things on my computer that I didn't even know I needed.

For any high dollar purchase like this, I recommend getting the extended warranty. AppleCare is worth the purchase and they treat their customers well. If you are a student or teacher, make sure that you let the store know and they will ensure that you get the EDU discount.

I am now on my 4th Mac computer. Every one of them has been purchased with AppleCare. Having this coverage has helped me 3 times prior: 1. iMac crashed and needed both the hard drive and super drive replaced. 100% covered. 2. Mac Book Pro needed mother board replaced after a liquid spill. 100% covered. 3. Time Capsule was replaced after it would no longer backup the Macs. 100% covered by the plan that was bought to cover the MacBook. I've also used AppleCare phone support to get help setting up a home network using an Airport Express along with the Time Capsule.

It make no sense for someone to buy an apple product and not put Apple care on the device Apple stands by there product and the extended warranty and genius help is well worth the price.

AppleCare is a no brained for a MacBook. The extended warranty and phone support from the United States with people that speak American English is awesome. It is definitely worth it.

I have a 13inch laptop and I bought the warranty. Ive had to use mine once and its worth every penny. Customer Service is easy access when you call to get help with your repair.

I always by added protection for the products I get at Best Buy. I am already called AppleCare for questions Quick answer and was able to find a solution.

If you're prone to accidents or have little kids running around this is a great buy! Even more, is the product care and tips Apple provides. Amazing service!

I usually get AppleCare Plus for all my Apple purchases. Thankfully, I have not really had to use it, but the peace of mind it offers is worth it, in my opinion, especially when Apple products are priced higher than most others. The quality I've experienced with Apple products is above reproach, but they are machines and this is not a perfect world, so I accept and understand that sometimes things can go wrong. This protection plan only serves to increase my confidence in my purchase.

I own an iPhone, and on occasion have needed to contact my local Apple Store to some assistance… When I purchased my MacBook Pro, I wasn’t certain if I should add Applecare Protection Plan, but decided to because of the great experience in the past… Since I am a new Mac User I have contacted Tech Support for assistance several times… The customer service and experience I have received has exceeded my expectations each time… It’s worth every dollar!

For peace of mind, it's worth the money. It's a must have in my opinion.

Apple Care insurance puts an ease of my mind due to the price of purchase. It covers everything.

There was no way I *wasn't* going to purchase this after I bought my MacBook Pro. Knowing that I'm protected for 3 years gives invaluable peace of mind. My only complaint (and it's not enough for me to dock the review one star) is that it's not offered in tiers, like Geek Squad protection is. You either buy the 3-year plan at $350 a pop, or nothing. Still, highly recommended.

This is the reason I buy everything tech through Best Buy.. They offer protection on everything. I've had to use the protection plans a few times and its too fantastic because its painless and often times it ends up being a new model or version. And now between the Price matching and 15 day return policy.......... Lets just say Best Buy is my favorite place to spend money!!!

When I first bought my Mac Pro I was overwhelmed with all the details, and requirements etc of the purchase. I had to have the Geek Squad employee and the store manager explain the protection plan to me and I am pleased that I bought it. I am sure I wont have any trouble but the customer service was excellent and I am pleased.
