This plan is a must, and absolute necessity when purchasing a Mac. Covers any malfunctions ( fixes it or replaces he computer). No accidental damages are covered so don't drop it. There is a student discount on this package.

got apple care on all 7 apple products bought Dec-Jan, seems like a no-brainer. Usually can add for a discount with promotional bundle, went back and price-matched and got a chunk of change back. love that about Best Buy!

Applecare is undoubtedly the best part of a Mac purchase! I love the fact that I can call anytime I have a question. The Geniuses help you work through any problems you may have. This is my fav part of the whole deal!

I know that Apple makes very high quality products, but life has a way of testing these things out. When my equipment faces issues or damage I want to know with certainty that my product will be returned promptly.

I called in regards to having a short with my charger the next day. They overnighted another one to me free of charge. So happy I got the extra protection to be protect me investment. Definitely recommend

My Apple Care plan is new but from what I've experienced so far it's a must have for every purchaser of an Apple product. Given that I'm new to using a Mac, I've needed a lot of help and always get what I need.

Purchased for new mac book. Selling point is that it is $300, but eventually the battery is going to lose its ability to charge and that is $350. Anything else breaks - makes it feel free.

Having had Apple care in the past, I'm confident this is also a valuable service to have with new Apple products, should you need some sort of service for your product. I used my other 3 times.

I have had Apple products before, and they have all worked beautifully. The one time my Apple desktop would not turn on, my system board was replaced with no problems from that point forward.

I do not usually buy additional protection for electronics, but I wanted to buy it for the pro 15 because I wanted to make sure that this computer would be protected for at least 3 years.

This purchase replaced the last PC in my home, thank you very much; Retina display is noticeably sharper and the speed-- what a difference. Great computer at any level of expertise.

I am not a fanboy, and as such I know that Macs break just as often as PCs do. My 2011 MBP broke twice, and the apple care plan saved the day. For me, it was worth the money.

AppleCare is definitely worth the purchase. I feel a lot better knowing my MacBook is protected for more than just the typical 1-year care that comes with the Apple product!

When buying such an expensive product it only makes sense to insure it. Applecare is one of the best protection plans out there. Very easy to access help when you need it.
