Protocol was listening and this neXt gen Dronium 3 hit all of the targets needed and then they went even further then that . 1) Bigger battery and no more low battery automatic video stoppage and by extension fat flying time even recording . 2) Bigger motors and no more slow balloon effect , "I REALLY like that" ! Very docile to very snappy from beginner to advanced speeds . 3) Wider camera angle for FPV flights . 4) Radio controller and drone have a noticeably much HIGHER resolution of control compared to the old Dronium III AP . Such as fine turning and it gains speed with the progression of stick input . That is totally awesome . 5) Flight controller is as quoted "Rock Solid" no more "jingling" left to right after Yaw input , and that is REALLY good for video recording (^,^)b I put in hundreds and hundreds of batteries in the Old III AP and knew all the mods I wanted to do to it . Now Protocol has them all on this drone right down to the upgraded battery connectors . Yes there's more and more , you can do flips now while recording video ! Very very happy about that (T~T)\m/ I wanted to post a link to my first flight with the Dronium 3X but I guess it's a no no . So just look around . I knew in less then 60 seconds this was something special . For all skill levels and worth the price too . Low wind conditions are best or large rooms to warehouses I recommend to practice , and unless you got the skills to pay the bills stay away from tall grabby trees , LOL -Scooter

Battery last a good 20 minutes. Easy to fly and lite weight.

This is my first and only drone. I bought it for $100 during a Black Friday sale. You probably can beat it for $100. My son crashed it pretty hard and one of the four propellers didn't work. I was able to take it apart and get the gear/sprocket back in place. Now every time it crashes, I have to fix the sprocket. It's an easy fix, but a pain. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

This drone is affordable, great battery life for its size, and the auto-stabilization is awesome. We were able to fly this easily inside when the weather was bad outside. The controls are easy and the video is crisp. Very satisfied with this drone.

This is a fun beginner drone. I would suggest getting the best buy protection. . I have kids who were rough with this drone and killed 2 of the 4 motors within 2 weeks of buying it. Controls with the remote are simple and the drone is pretty fast, clocked it a 17 mph. Phone controls aren't bad, but the dexterity with a phone is obviously not as good as using the controller. I want to buy another one, but am going to wait until it goes on sale again, since I already bought one. The bonus is that I'll have a spare battery now, as well as lots of spare parts.

This is my second drone. I like how this one handles. It’s alot easier to control in the air even when you switch the speeds. The camera takes pretty ok pictures. I highly recommend it for new drone users.

This drone is easy to fly. If I didn’t have the Phantom 4 this would be my #1 Drone.

Battery life: high speed - 5-10 minutes; low speed - 10-15 minutes. There is good amount of initial calibration on the trim settings. Do this in a nice open area like a garage with no wind. After the trim is set, all you really need to do is calibrate the done per the instructions before every flight and it flies wonderfully. High speed use gives better control and handling, but depletes the battery quickly. I recommend getting another battery (easily ordered online). Got this for my dad and three of us got to different levels of proficiency within 5 hours (only one battery, so it took a while). Drone piloting is definitely a skill. Start with this type of drone before thinking about getting one of the "big boy toys".

Camera does not angel down so if you want a shot of your property you either need to fly forward fast and snap the picture or take it from a lower elevation. Does not handle any wind well (as most lower quality drones). Battery lasts well. Never timed it but I would say it lasts a solid 20min of flying time.

Awesome drone! I bought this for my son based on the customer reviews here and the info I looked up on the web. He loves it! It is easy to operate and yet it is very good quality for the price. Great decision. Battery lasts longer than it says also.
