The tank doesnt click in or anything like that, so as I unboxed it the bottom dropped on the floor and it just cracked. Maybe it was bad luck. Eaither way it cracked so easy on a carpeted floor.

I have had this humidifier for less than a month and the threading on the fill cap has broken, rendering the unit useless as it cannot be refilled. Save your money; purchase a top-fill humidifier.
