Looks Great, Quiet, and Easy to Move

I love the look, size, and function of the PureDry Deluxe Dehumidifier. It's easy to move around, easy to use, and works well!
Dehumidification
I was very happy with how the PureDry pulled water out of the air. The box says it will remove up 20oz of water. It pulled water out and filled the tank which is what I expected. It stopped when full as it's supposed to also.
Design
The PureDry has a clean, sleek look to it. There are only three capacitive buttons on top. Each one has lights to indicate auto shut-off time, power on/off, and fan speed. There's a slot in the front of the unit to show how much water is in the tank. There's a handle at the top of the back of the unit that makes it easy to pick up. The tank is accessed from the back. There's a place in the back water tank where you could connect a tube for it to drain. No tube is included, just the plug you need so that water doesn't leak out.
Easy to use
There are three buttons on top. A simple touch will activate them. One button is for the shut-off timer, which can be set to off (run continuously), 4 hours, or 8 hours. The when the water tank filled the unit shut off, just like it should. It's easy to pull the tank out and empty it.
Noise
There are only two speeds, low or high, but I think that's all it needs. Low is quiet. I can hear it in a quiet room but it's a soft hum, not annoying at all. With anything going on in the room at all I totally forget it's even there. High is much louder but I it is still an acceptable noise level for me to be in the room where it is. With this on low it's idea for a room with people talking.

A small but effective dehumidifier!

Bottom Line: The Pure Enrichment PureDry Deluxe 1.5L Dehumidifier is a small and effective machine, but some buyers may need a larger / more feature rich unit to effectively manage humidity in their home.
Pros: small size; works
Cons: no humidistat; no air filter
Review: The Pure Enrichment PureDry Deluxe 1.5L Dehumidifier is a very small unit (12” height, ~8” long, ~5” wide) that can manage humidity in a space up to 160 sq. ft. According to the user manual, it can remove about 20 oz (1.25 pints) of water from the air per day, which is on par with my tests. For instance, I put the unit in my upstairs hallway next to the bathroom door with 67% humidity. After running the unit on high setting for a little over two hours, the humidity was down to 58%, and it had collected about 2 oz of water.
The unit has basic controls: power, low/high, and 4/8hr timer buttons. It does not have a built in humidistat, so the unit will not automatically regulate the relative humidity. Rather, if the timer is not set, the unit will run continuously until the water tank is full. As such, users may consider getting a separate hygrometer to measure the room’s humidity and adjust operation of the unit accordingly.
Buyers should also note that this unit does not have an air filter, which might be a concern if mold /mildew is an issue in the space. The air intake is through plastic fins in the back panel, which is removable and cleanable (held on with 1 screw). In terms of noise, my phone registers it at 44 dB-A on low and 51 dB-A on high sitting about 3 feet away, which isn’t terribly loud but neither really whisper quiet.
Overall, the unit will remove excess humidity from the air in a small, compact, and lightweight design, and I think it’s ideal for those looking to increase air comfort on high humidity days. For those who need continuous moisture control and improved air quality may want to consider a larger unit with a built in humidistat and air filter.

I am so disappointed. This unit ran great, until it didn’t. I shut it off to dump the tank, went to turn it back on and it won’t.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Bought two of these and they pulled zero moisture out of the air, even after running for a week. The humidistat in the room actually showed the humidity going UP when these were in use. Save your money and buy another brand.

this unit does not remove humidity like it said it would . So I ended up buy another dehumidifier. Plus the fact that the company said they would send me a humidity gauge which they never did.

I have a PureDry Large Dehumidifier (Model PEDEHLRG) Date Code 1120 that unfortunately isn’t turning on. I bought it in Best buy on March 2022,I Ensured that the tank is properly aligned and securely placed in the designated position and nothing. I Cleaned the back air intake as well.
