Might work well for a small closet or pantry room. Did not seem to capture anything with a room filled with steam. Had to return and get the bigger Keystone model

Best Fix for Humid Bathrooms & Bad Ventilation

The Pure Enrichment PureDry Deluxe is a perfect way to eliminate leftover humidity in bathrooms that do not have adequate ventilation. My bathroom is 10'x12,' and the fan is not the greatest. It is the builder quality standard cheapie fan. I have been avoiding getting in the attic to change it and upgrade the exhaust to 3", but that isn't part of this review. Enter the PureDry Deluxe. It is aesthetically pleasing and blends into my modern home decor. There are only three buttons, and it is pretty straightforward.
Setup is a breeze. You plug it in and let it run. The simple, minimalistic interface has only a power button, speed, and auto shut-off timer is the three buttons. It can remove up to 20 oz of water a day, and the tank holds 1.5L. It is rated to handle rooms up to 160 sqft. An auto-shut-off will stop the reservoir from overfilling and spilling, which is a peace of mind feature. It runs very quietly and does generate a bit of heat. It does the job and is small and portable. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Small Dehumidifier Comes in Handy

This PureDry dehumidifier is small and fairly quiet. A simple machine--just a few controls and a pull-out water reservoir. It puts out quite a bit of heat like a full-size one.
When it's summer in Florida it's hard to find humidity in the house with the AC running, but I tested it in 2 bathrooms with the doors closed after they had been used for showers and had damp towels hanging in them.
The starting relative humidity in the one room was 62%, and after about 90 minutes it had dropped it to the low 50's, but only about 2 ounces of water had collected in the reservoir. Same situation in the other bathroom. The machine raised the temp in those rooms significantly though.
I am thinking this unit would work great inside a damp RV or camper, even the inside of a vehicle that you left the windows down in a rain storm. I think the heat from the machine and the air blowing in and out of it would help as much as the actual removal of water from the air.

Pure Enrichment PureDry Deluxe 1.5L Dehumidifier

Just received my Pure Enrichment - PureDry Deluxe 1.5L Dehumidifier a few days ago and I am impressed at how powerful this little machine is. First off, it arrived just in time for the most humid time of the year. And when being away from home at long extended times, or simply because its that time of year, having an amazing dehumidifer like the PureDry Deluxe is a must. Right out of the box, this dehumifier is ready to go. And it's so simple and easy to use. Before I get into how to use this (which is simple), I must speak on how nice this thing looks. It's design is very solid and does not feel cheap at all. On top are 3 buttons:
* 4H / 8H - this button is a timer button that you can set for either 4 hours or 8 hours of runtime. At which time, the machine will automatically shut itself off.
* Power - this is pretty self explanatory. This is what starts your machine up.
* L / H - this button refers to how low and high speed of the fan and how fast it collects the water out of the air. On the L setting you can barely hear the fan, but you will hear it on the H setting. However, for me at least, its easy to tune it out
At the back of the dehumidifier is the resevoir tank where the water is collected and stored to be poured out when full. The machine will shut itself off when its ready to be emptied and the Power button LED will change from blue to red.
So being its pratically summer, and everyone is finally coming out of quarantine, there will be lots of trips taken and lots of people can't afford to leave their AC units running all day, especially when they're not at home. Which means, its most likely will become very hot and humid in our homes. This dehumidifer is ready to do the work and make your home comfortable and less humid. I love the fact that we can set it to run either for 4 hours or 8 hours and it turns itself off, or just hitting the power button and letting it run for as long as it needs until the tank fills up; at which point you simply just empty the tank and keep it going for as long as you need to. Over the last few days this has made our living room, more enjoyable to sit an relax in, especially with all of the direct sunlight that comes into our house. Our home starts to get extremely humid in the late mornings to the early evenings, and our AC Unit is working overtime it seems sometimes just to cool the living room down some.

Does the job well ; small spaces only

At first, I honestly didn’t notice much difference with this dehumidifier, but I started to notice a difference about 2- or 3-days in. It is very user friendly with a 4 and 8 hour timer, plus a red light alert that let’s you know its time to empty the tank. I have used it consistently for about a week and I have emptied it just once, so it lasts a good long time.
A few things to note:
- While its powerful enough for my bedroom, I can’t imagine this is powerful enough for any larger room like a living room
-I have heard it may need to be emptied more often due to its size again
-While it’s a good, decent dehumidifier and does the job, I don’t think it meets the price points value
-Is definitely a bit noisy; not obtrusive, but definitely not quiet at all
Despite all of this, the dehumidifier made my hardwood floors less “sticky”. The humidity in the air definitely cause a sticky feel on my hardwood floors, so just for this alone I would definitely recommend this ---- but for smaller spaces only.

Never having owned a dehumidifier before, I was very excited to try out, and review Pure’s Puredry Deluxe Dehumidifier.
At first I thought I was going to have to spend 30 minutes reading the instructions, but I was wrong, from the time I opened the box to the time I understood this device completely was maybe five minutes.
It’s real simple, you plug it in, and there’s three buttons on the top. One button turns on the machine, One button is for high or low speed settings, with the high setting being used for higher humidity levels. the third button is for either a 4 or 8 hour timer, if you do not select a timer, the machine will run continuously till you physically turn it off.
The device itself is not very big so it fits almost anywhere, but just big enough so that you know this thing can get rid of moisture at a good rate.
It’s also very well-made, i’m impressed of how it looks and feels, the clear container in the back where the water gets collected is pretty nice too. It’s got some fail safe features in case the water fills up completely and you are not home to turn it off or you just don’t notice that it’s full etc.
I wanted to wait as long as possible before I submitted my review till I saw results… One hour in and I already have about an ounce of water in the container, I am sold.
Before I got this machine I was using disposable moisture eliminator containers, those would take days just to get any results… i’ll be buying a couple of these to give to my mom, family members etc.
And for just for reference, I don’t have a huge humidity problem, just pretty average like I’m sure a lot of people out there reading my review.

Summary
-------------
This is a small humidifier good for a room of size 160 sqft. So it is best fit in an office or inside the closet if you don’t want your clothes to be impacted by humidity.
This humidifier does not have a pump and you cannot redirect the water to an outlet. The water gets stored in the tank and needs to be emptied after its full and the capacity is 1.5L
What's in the box
----------------------
Deluxe Dehumidifier, Removable Water Tank
Pros
-----
1. Small size and footprint
2. Cheap price.
3. Not noisy, its quiet.
4. No filter to replace.
Cons
-------
1, max size of room you can place it in is 160 sqft.
DETAILS
----------
Build Quality
-----------------
Very well built and the interface is simple. 3 buttons - power, high/low, timer (4hr vs 8hr). If you don’t setup the timer, it just runs until tank fills.
Usage
--------
Basically plug and play, and it’s a basic humidifier. You can run it in a timed mode for 4hr/8hr or run until the water in the reservoir fills up. The reservoir can hold up to 1.5L which is fairly decent for a dehumidifier this size. Based on the amount of water this thing collects, it is evident that it works pretty well.

Probably perfect smaller, uncluttered space (closet) that you don't visit very often.
To test the humidifier, I left it running on high in a basement room that was roughly 400sqft overnight. My portable humidity meter was at 56% and I left the device running for approximately 12 hours. Checking the next morning, the humidity was up to 58% (to be fair, this was an improvement vs other areas on the same floor that read higher). and 400sqft is on the upper end of room size recommendations.
The tank had about 1cm of water inside, so clearly it'd been working and in a smaller space no doubt we'd have seen a reduction in humidity levels. The top front was warm to the touch, which was a bit concerning (and all over the instructions it says do not cover/put anything on top of it - this is probably why).
Pros:
- portable with good handholds, not super "light" so it won't get accidentally knocked over, but not heavy enough that you'll break a sweat taking it from room to room
- tank is super secure and easy to remove + clean - no accidental leaks or frustration while cleaning
- super-easy controls with timer settings and high/low mode, plug it in and it's ready to go
Cons:
- LOUD - louder than most air filters on high mode. On low mode, approximately the same as an air filter. "Whisper quiet" is only really true on low mode
- gets warm - especially running continuously
- no on-device humidity meter - seems like a necessary inclusion for the price point
- no auto-shut-off when the target humidity level has been reached - again, seems like a necessary inclusion for the price point
If you need a bare-bones dehumidifier for a small room or bathroom with a small footprint and don't mind the sound or won't be present while it runs, this is probably the device for you. If you need more nuance, you'll want to upgrade to a larger device with more features.

Should Have Done This A Long Time Ago!!

The very first thing I can say about the Pure Enrichment - PureDry Deluxe 1.5L Dehumidifier is WOW!! I should have done this a long time ago!!
I was not at all sure how much of a difference a dehumidifier would make in the overall comfort of my house. It is a fairly open design, and I was a bit concerned it might be too big of an area for the dehumidifier to work well. After less than one hour, I found I needed to turn up the air as I was getting cold. Normally the air has a noticeable feel of dampness to it as I live in the south where the humidity gets crazy. The typical AC unit just isn't able to remove all the moisture from the air, so it requires keeping the air turned down lower than it would be in less humid regions. But like I said, after less than an hour, I had to turn the air up to 72 degress, from 70.and then later up to 73. I was, and am remarkably comfortable, dry, cool, and happy.
The unit came ready to use straight out of the box. All I had to do was select a spot to put it, plug it in, and turn it on. The controls are thankfully few (only three) and very simple to understand. There is a button to set the length of time you want it to run (either 4 hours, 8 hours, or continuous). The power button of course, and the fan speed, which is "low" or "high."
After it had been running for a while, I checked the water tray, and it had already accumulated a surprising amount of water. The dehumidifier will shut off automatically if the water tank gets too full, or also if it overheats.
DAY TWO: I have put this through two full days of use, and am completely sold on it. This has made a HUGE difference in the living comfort of my home. The air is very noticeably drier, the AC is cooling like never before, and we are all very happy.
Now, there is one thing that I must point out. It is a bit noisier than I like. In fact, on the high speed setting, it is very noticeable. But for the trade-off of drier air and higher AC settings and lower energy bills, it is more than fair!!
I would absolutely 100% HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Pure Enrichment - PureDry Deluxe 1.5L Dehumidifier to anyone who lives in an area of high humidity. After only two days it has transformed the way we live. I am going to get two more units for the rest of the house.

This is a small dehumidifier that is perfect for a small 10' by 10' or smaller room lick a closet. Works well and it is easy to empty the container. It has a timer with two choices for it to shut off or can be used indefinitely.
Works as expected, I cant comment on longevity since I just got it.

My son has terrible allergies. We have an air purifier in his room already, but he still has fits with his allergies at times. However, I think we finally found a really good recipe to combat his allergies with the Pure Enrichment - PureDry Deluxe dehumidifier. We have noticed that now during a time of year in Central Texas when ambient humidity is 65% - 85% everyday he is normally borderline miserable more often than not but that since we started using this device his daily symptoms seem to be quelled. Out of the box the unit is small, compact, and easy to assemble. We plugged the unit in and immediately noticed how quite it runs. We were amazed the first night when he woke up and we found several ounces of water had collected in the reservoir tank. This only spurred us to continue using the unit daily. Since then, slowly and surely the tank is getting less water and my son is maintaining more often than normal. I cannot be certain, but we feel like the Pure is making an impact on his wellbeing and for us that is enough.
