It works fantastic - 3 settings and a cool or warm setting. I live in the high desert and this has been a life saver for my skin - no more flaking and itching. I would have given it 5 stars, but you have to remove the top piece to fill it with water and the handle to carry is not very good. When filled with the full 2 gallons it is not easy to carry as the indent to hold it is slippery.

I get four 8-hour stretches of humidifying (set on the "medium" setting output) with each tank filling. Not a deal breaker, but small green lights glow on the settings areas, and it would be nice if there was an option to eliminate, or at least dim, this light output. I also like the separate drawer where you can put some drops of essential oils which diffuses a small but noticeable amount of aroma.

Worth it

The extra large capacity of the tank lasts longer usually about 3 days on low. It has 3 speeds, option for warm or cool mist, NO yucky filters to change, a slot to add essential oils, a night light and more. I'm so glad we purchased this one, it was completely worth it!

Great dry winter weather helper!

Warming mist setting is a plus. The blue light is calming. The tank is huge and allows for longer times between adding water. The high setting can cause moisture to for in front of device. Thats the obly downside i could find. Enjoy!!

Second Humidifier Working Better

I thus returned the humidifier and got a second one. The humidifier is relatively easy to use, expect when loading and emptying the tank. As for its performance, on average it raised the humidity by 4 degrees in a large room, and provides a steady mist.

I would highly recommend anyone with difficulty lifting or unable to place this on a steady object to get a smaller one instead. Longer run time sounds nice and all but eventually you will have to change it and it won't be easy.
