I loved the original Tetris and have played it all of my llife. The combination with Puyo Puyo is incredible and it keeps you on your toes. This game is loads of fun and definitely worth its value. It is also great for playing with the family, and I love introducing my children to Tetris. Being able to take it on the go is awesome. A must buy.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is a nice diversion from some of the more in depth Switch titles available. It's a case of chocolate and peanut butter, two good tastes that taste great together. The presentation is colorful and fun and there are plenty of modes to check out. the game really shines in multiplayer, especially the local variety. It's relatively inexpensive and well worth checking out.

If you like tetris, then you will really like this game. The combination in this game makes it truly exciting to play.

I downloaded the demo for this game when I picked up my switch about 2 weeks ago and I've always been a fan of Tetris. But the take on this game is that there's another game mode called Puyo-Puyo which in it-self is an amazing puzzle game just like Tetris. But the great thing about this game is the competitive versus modes, playing with family and friends is a blast as this game came out, I brought my switch over to a family gathering and we ended up staying an extra 3+ hours then we expected as everyone wanted to keep playing. If you want a great family/competitive puzzle game with great modes, I highly recommend this game as the switch was made for this type of game! (To be shared.)

Game is very fun who doesn't love Tetris. Game is at its best when you're playing with friends and family.

Puyo Puyo Tetris combines both Tetris and Puyo Puyo. The game was released on both the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch, and this review focuses on the Switch. If you take your Switch on the road, this Tetris game is a great game to take with you. This copy also contained the keychain from the launch edition.

Bought this and surprisingly played it more than Mario kart with family members. It can get pretty competitive and ruin families though.

I didn't expect to like Puyo Puyo Tetris, but my wife and I tried out the free demo on the eshop and after a few games we knew we had to buy this game. It is fantastic for pick up and play. And the multiplayer is incredibly fun and hectic. I can't recommend this game enough if you like puzzlers!

At first glance, you might think Puyo Puyo Tetris is an idea that should have been left on the cutting room floor. A 30-year-old puzzle game combined with another puzzle game that has never been all that popular in the West? Sounds like a tired formula, right? Wrong. Puyo Puyo Tetris breathes new life into the puzzle genre with its wealth of game modes, and it's quirky mashup idea makes these old games feel new again. Play just Tetris or just Puyo Puyo if you like, but the real fun comes from playing both at once, in either the Swap or Fusion modes. Battling it out with three other friends, locally or online, is an absolute blast, and learning new strategies with which to battle will give you that same feeling that you had when you first tried Tetris on the Game Boy or NES. The replay value is off the charts, and the presentation is slick and colorful, with a cast of nutty characters to keep things interesting. Puyo Puyo Tetris is fun in single- or multiplayer, so don't hesitate to add this gem to your Switch library.

If you are willing to learn, this is a fun puzzler if you are looking for one. I a good at Tetris but not so much the combo of both. Graphics are pretty, bold and colorful. It's perfect for a quick pick up and put down game. Worth the price with the discount and comes with a free Keychain.

We've been playing mario kart nonstop but it's tetris, how can you go wrong. GOod, fun game

This game allows a unique play experience that merges two similar but very different games.

Super tough game, but that's probably just me since I'm terrible at games like tetris. A solid game nonetheless.

Its a great twist on Tetris and for the price its a great addition to the collection. I think this was a Japanese PS Vita only release so I am glad that I am finally able to play it.

I have played various adaptations of Tetris for 25 years and had never played Puyo Puyo prior to this game. When I heard about this one, I thought I would check out the demo and then buy it if I liked it. Sure enough, I liked it and bought it. The demo itself was great in that there were a few different play modes for Tetris and Puyo Puyo to be played by themselves and also a mode in which it would switch back and forth between the two in the same game. When I played the full version, there was also a game that combined puyos and tetronimoes, as well as somewhat of a story mode, and a few other modes that I have not even played because the others are so fun that I want to keep playing those. It's a challenging game, but a lot of fun. The characters are somewhat strangely perky and chime in a lot during the game, but it makes the game more competitive and intense, especially against other players.
