    I didn't by this to use as a microphone stand. I bought it to use as a long arm to hold my camera over my table for when I make Youtube videos. I would rather use it as a microphone stand but it does the job!

    Does not appear to have a standard sized thread on the stand where the boom connects to mount standard sized mic stand accessories. Very disappointed....
