I was recently given a vintage Techniques Turn Table that someone had put on an undersized belt and a damaged needle! I put the right needle and belt on it and Voila, like new. Plugged it in to my newer Pioneer 7.1 AV amp, and no joy! This little pre amp took care of that and the Turn Table sounds amazing with my old vinyl collection!

Good in terms of generating sound from turntable thru receiver. Does not have lots of power however.

Great little machine if your receiver does not have a phono input or grounding hookup. My last receiver did NOT so I had to purchase this product. It works great altho it is now collecting dust in my electronic bag of wires bcuz I was forced to buy another receiver, which was a way better receiver & as all GREAT receivers should have it had a phono input and ground wire on it. Maybe Ill sell it on Ebay?

I,m back to enjoying my vinyl collection again after hooking up turntable to my home theater setup. Thanks goes out to Pyle for making this option available to me. Good sound quality for an extremely affordable price in such a small package,

This is a very clean little phono preamp and takes up very little space. I plug my old technics turntable into the preamp and run the preamp into some tape inputs on my mixing board, vinyl rides again. yay.

This product really improved the output of my turntable through my CD input of my receiver. Unfortunately it also picks up sixty hertz noise.

Upgraded to a turntable without an integrated pre amp, needed a less than expensive solution as the turntable was already a pricey investment. Ordered The PP999 online, picked up in store and was able to experience a richer more amplified sound from my records within minutes of opening the box, easy set up & works great. In due time, I’ll upgraded to a more powerful pre amp but this is a great solution in between time.

This pre-amp worked great for me. It allowed me to connect my old turntable to a newer home theater receiver. Without it, I had to turn my receiver all the way up so that I could barely hear the music. This works great! A simple, inexpensive solution.

My old amplifier had a ‘phono’ selector with a built in preamp. These days that is rare in your average home theater digital amps. This married up my 35 year old turntable with the Yamaha amplifier and sounds great. No noticeable feedback, just make sure you use the ground wire properly.

I recently bought a new FM/AM receiver and whatdyaknow? It didn't have provision for a phonograph turntable. I must have almost 100 pounds of vinyl records. The PP999 preamplifier is just the thing to get phono records to play into one of the auxiliary inputs of the receiver. Fidelity is good, price is great. Don't forget to get a set of audio cables.

The pre amp works effectively with a decent turntable connected to a Bose Wave. For an inexpensive item it does the job I needed.

No problems what so ever with the pre-amplifier. But I am having problems with the software. Might be time to pay a visit to the Geek Squad.

I just needed an inexpensive pre-amp for my new ProJect Carbon turntable as most new receivers do not come with a dedicated phono input. While not an audiophile quality pre amp this model does a great job for what I needed. setup is simple and its small enough to hide behind my other stereo equipment

Awesome set it up put the ground on plug it in good to go. Love it for my phono the new Yamaha receiver is digital did not have a preamp it worked just fine. Thanks and the price was right.

I've been wanting to hook up my dad's old Kenwood record player to my Yamaha receiver in the living room. This was the exact thing I needed to amplify the noise. The sound is perfect and the price cannot be beat!

Does what it says and needs to do. One thing, be sure to check your turntable for grounding, and get a separate ground wire if you need to. My experience with this item wasn't complete until I purchased a ground wire for the turntable I was gifted.
