    This is a great product. Without it on my new Sony receiver, I could not hear music from my old turntable. It fixed the problelm.

    The Pyle pre-amp works well to amplify the turntable signal going to my replacement receiver. I powered it via the AC block and have not tried the battery mode.

    I returned it only because I ended up buying a Denon turntable that already had an amp in it. I did try it on another product and it worked great. The other turntable I returned.
