Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the affordability, sturdiness, and user-friendly design of the Suspension Boom Scissor Microphone Stand with Shock Mount Holder. Many reviewers mentioned that it is a great value for the price, holds the microphone securely, and is easy to set up and use. The inclusion of an XLR cable and its compatibility with various microphones are also seen as positive aspects. While some users found it unsuitable for heavier microphones, the overall sentiment towards this product is positive.

Not ideal for heavy microphones
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product quality is okay. Ideal for 3.0 pound microphones or lighter. It fits with almost all type of mics. However, if you have a heavy mic like mine (M-audio uber mic) it won't work. Even when I tight the screws all the way, it keeps going down because of the weight.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mic arm so much better than what I was expecting for a 20$ boom arm. The only slight downside is its a little bit wobbly after you move it around a bunch but you can easily fix that by tightening it. Overall great boom arm!

Ok
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works like you'd want it to, it does feel a little cheap and flimsy sometimes which is why i returned it.

Just as good as the expensive scissor arms
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was shocked to see that the mount comes with so many accessories. It comes with a mix holder, adapter, XLR cable, shock mount, and much more. If you ask me, this is a darn good value for $25. The arm can essentially be moved to any position you want it to. If for some reason the two adjustment knobs break, two extras were included. If you’re worried about scratching your desk from below, a soft padding is used. Just incredible. I’m currently using the arm with the shock mount and I pulled back the XLR cable back a little as I didn’t need it at the moment. The arm is holding its weight and will only move if you want it to. Very satisfied so far. I’d rather have a name brand behind this scissor arm holding my expensive microphone rather than a cheap Chinese scissor arm from Amazon or eBay.

Not what I thought
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought a standing mic Hyper X quadcast and wanted a boom arm for it. This one was on sale and said it fit the mic I got so I ordered it. When it arrived there were no instructions in the box and the cables installed with it so not connect to my mic. Another thing is the slot that the boom arm connects to on the desk clamp is not secure, it comes with a little screw but I could still just pull the arm out easily. The build quality is not that good either I could bend the metal with just a bit of force.

So mediocre it almost hurts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's get the negative out of the way: The integrated XLR cable is actually annoying because they give you so much of it. Which is great if you use XLR mics but I don't so there's just too much product here with no way to take it off. The stand itself feels a bit... meh. It's just ok. The desk mount is horrible. It's small and made out of relatively thin metal. Not worth the retail price at all. Now the good: It's a decent boom arm for whatever you need. It's just that there are other products out there for less or the same price that are just better. And therefore, would not recommend unless this was on a massive sale above 50% or this was your only option.

Great for my Yeti
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great for my yeti! With this, a pop filter, and windscreen, I can really use my microphone to it's fullest. Holds the microphone very sturdy. Definitely worth the buy.

Not built to last
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Held an AT2035 pretty well for just over a year of gentle use, then the welds suddenly snapped off the base when returning the arm to its neutral position. I'm lucky the mic fell into my hand instead of crashing onto the desk. ** The current product images seem to show an improved base. I won't be buying another one to find out. Pros: Tightens enough for a decently heavy mic Longer than some arms at this price Quiet springs Included XLR cable was okay Cons: Flimsy welds put your gear at risk Included XLR cable can't be replaced

Decent build, could be sturdier
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has fallen off my desk a couple times in the last 2 years since I’ve had it. I also have a thick marble desk but the arm is really as good as you pay for.

Cheap but works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does the job. But its quality is lacking a lot. Cheap plastic and cheap metal for a cheap price. Take that for what it is worth.

Mic arm
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Workers for what I need, I do however which thr springs had a little more force. I’m using this with a RODE Mic and the mic is extremely heavy. So this will occasionally fall down.

Exactly what it looks like
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The way it clamps to the desk does mean that it can't sit in certain positions. This didn't work for me, but its exactly what it looks like and I didn't have any issued other than needing more flexibility in rotation.
