    I’m not sure if I did something wrong but this arm isn’t holding my mic STRAIGHT up and down. It’s as if the mic is too heavy for the arm to hold

    Just what my husband needed...Now he can mount his recording mic anywhere ...on just any table....before that we had pillar kind mic stand and he had to carry it room to room to setup for his "perfect/appropriate space for recording " :-) .I would definitely recommend this product who is looking for something portable for their recording gear.

    For the price, this is an excellent microphone boom and shock mount that also has a pre threaded though the boom an XLR to XLR cable. Very clean installation / table mount.

    Decent product, not the best or strongest stand but does the job, the bottom connector that mounts to the desk could be a tad more sturdy since these mic booms get moved around, so they can begin to feel like its loosing grip.
