    Quicken makes you upgrade every few years or you lose important functionality. No important changes to previous versions, at least for me. Quicken is a good product and I've been using it for years. Great for checkbook balancing, seeing your finances, and preparing for tax time.

    I had to upgrade my Quicken software because it stopped updating my accounts. Luckily, I got Quicken 2017 on sale at BestBuy.com. It's the same basic interface as in previous versions. The tricky part is getting all the account entries right so the balance is accurate.
