This is a great product, it was easy to set up and convert my 25 year old manual system. With weather forecast controlling your watering needs with this new system you will be able to pay back the cost in a few months in water bills. I have the 16 zone system. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Fairly easy to set up, had to mess with the app a little to get it all straightened out but nothing traumatic. Works great. Love that I can work the system with my phone! Installation didn’t seem very difficult. If it ever rains in CA I look forward to seeing it do it’s magic and skip the watering! Also the DWP rebate nearly paid for all Of it!

Automating the sprinklers saved me a lot of water overall. Some months it skipped more than 50% of the runs due to rain or more shade during the day. Helps set quick runs after adding fertilizers or frequent runs in seeded areas. Rachio should come up with a lower cost 4 zone model.

What a great convenience to have the sprinklers on the Wi-Fi network!! This controller works great with the app on my Android phone. I have a photo for each zone. Scheduling and skipping are easy. I am glad that I bought 16 zones because I installed 5 new sprinkler zones this year. Tech support is good and helpful.

Great device. If your like me and your eye twitches when trying to figure out how to program or optimize your irrigation controller, THIS IS FOR YOU. Made life super easy. Also, allowed me to have my main schedule and I added an additional one to water flowers while I was out of town. Wish I would have got it sooner.

Best thing I have bought yet. It worked flawlessly and had no problems. Running strong for a few seasons. The only issue you must purchase the secure case no matter if outside or inside. This will keep bugs out of the device.

This controller is super easy to use and install. I have not tried any of the smart features yet, but the level of detail you provide leads me to believe they do a pretty good job of adjusting irrigation patterns to get optimal results. I highly recommend the product.

Has been a great controller and the app is good. It took a minute to get it to connect to the wifi but after that it was really easy.

Replaced my builder install hunter irrigation panel that unit did not have Wi-Fi or any smart capability but to add smart capabilities it would cost me about $175 to buy a new main board from Hunter replacing that with this unit was the best decision ever. My utility company gave me $150 rebate for smart irrigation, just for showing them the receipt it’s online, it’s very easy to set up. I can take pictures of each zone so I actually know what I’m watering with and hooked up my existing rain sensor, which I will be replacing with the weather station overall I could not recommend this product more

Picked this up due to the Round Rock Rebate. Previously had the typical Hunter unit and wanted something I could utilize through WiFi. I was stunned how easy to it was to install, set up, and adjust. Already it has paid for itself by adjusting for the weather and making the run times more efficient. Would highly recommend.

Bought a new home and had to upgrade the dinosaur the previous owners had. Rachio made an excellent sprinkler controller and it live that it doesn’t turn if the temperature is low or the weather shows high winds very good product.

I've owned Orbit and Rachio. Rachio is the tops. And this is the one true "must have" smart home device you should buy. Easy to program and use, fun to use to spray random animals in the yard...great product.

I love it, my favorite part is that I can do remotely everything.

The Rachio 3rd Generation couldn't be easier to set up and use. It took all of 10 minutes. The ability to customize each zone along with your area is perfect. I had my doubts about the wifi hook up to the weather "BUT IT WORKS" No more watering in the rain. Thanks Rachio !!!!

This product has made watering the yard and checking the sprinklers so much easier. No more running back to the garage to turn on each sprinkler. Now can do from any location via phone. Easy setup as well.

This is our third Rachio. The new weather monitoring is much more accurate than the previous version. Setup is simple and straightforward. Once setup there’s not much else to do but let it do its thing.

I purchased this conroller after hearing a user praise it and wanting a panel I could remotely access. It was easy to install and configure and it is nice to have one that takes into consideration recent percipitation. I like the way it alternates between zones for better absorption and less runoff. However....it isn't close to being problem free. After an 1" of rain it notified us that the cycle would be skipped but at 4 am another notification that it was going to run. Who is up at 4 am to override this last minute decision? So to promote this as better water conservation is a bit of a misnomer. After several incidents like this, I called support which is overseas and the agents are difficult to understand. She had me change my setting for the lawn to every other day and the flower beds on their own Flex schedule. There are problems with both of these programs. It still checks the weather but of the 10 lawn zones, only 8 ran one night. It didn't notify me, only told me it completed the schedule and how long it ran. I discovered it by chance in the history. The flower bed had a similar issue. It said it ran which to me means both zones. The history showed it ran but we have one area that needs to be fixed as the water drains away and I expect to see standing water on the patio but that area was dry. I knew it had not run. I called support again and waited 40 minutes and talked to an oversees agent whose accent was so heavy I could hardly communicate with him. After not understanding hardly a word he said, I gave up. I didn't want to wait another 40 minutes to call back so may just spend that time returning this. I would rather rely on a product that I know is going to run and that I can manually turn off than have to babysit one that is unpredictible.

This is the best home automation device for your sprinkler system. Checks weather and automatically skips or lengthens schedule based on a number of factors.
