Great device. If your like me and your eye twitches when trying to figure out how to program or optimize your irrigation controller, THIS IS FOR YOU. Made life super easy. Also, allowed me to have my main schedule and I added an additional one to water flowers while I was out of town. Wish I would have got it sooner.

Has been a great controller and the app is good. It took a minute to get it to connect to the wifi but after that it was really easy.

This controller is super easy to use and install. I have not tried any of the smart features yet, but the level of detail you provide leads me to believe they do a pretty good job of adjusting irrigation patterns to get optimal results. I highly recommend the product.

Replaced my builder install hunter irrigation panel that unit did not have Wi-Fi or any smart capability but to add smart capabilities it would cost me about $175 to buy a new main board from Hunter replacing that with this unit was the best decision ever. My utility company gave me $150 rebate for smart irrigation, just for showing them the receipt it’s online, it’s very easy to set up. I can take pictures of each zone so I actually know what I’m watering with and hooked up my existing rain sensor, which I will be replacing with the weather station overall I could not recommend this product more

I've owned Orbit and Rachio. Rachio is the tops. And this is the one true "must have" smart home device you should buy. Easy to program and use, fun to use to spray random animals in the yard...great product.

This product has made watering the yard and checking the sprinklers so much easier. No more running back to the garage to turn on each sprinkler. Now can do from any location via phone. Easy setup as well.

I read reviews and Rachio had tons of great reviews so I decided to try it. Installation and configuration were extremely simple. I love the feature that allows it to spread out the watering duration. You tell it to water 5 zones for 30 minutes and it will split it up watering each zone 5 minutes over and over until 30 minutes have been completed. You can start or stop watering on a Cell Phone data(meaning not on the same network). When I tell it to start watering within a second the value is open and it is watering. The only clunky part is taken pictures I use an iPhone and I tell it to use a picture for my zone, and sometimes it would fail and I would have to try again. But you really only take a picture once so I don't think its a big deal.

This thing is amazing! Truly set up once with a ton of details about your lawn and system and never worry about it again. Has cut my water usage significantly and my lawn has never looked better.

Great product. Uses all the current updates from wifi and sensors to determine if watering is needed or will automatically change watering cycles based on current weather info. You can also make changes directly from your phone and app is pretty easy to use.

We had the 2nd generation model, only upgraded to this one because of the move with a larger yard and 14 zones. Easy set up and easy to adjust from the app. No complaints on the 2nd generation or this one. Love the rain monitoring.

This is the best home automation device for your sprinkler system. Checks weather and automatically skips or lengthens schedule based on a number of factors.

Purchased this on the advice of our landscape architects (both of whom owned the same product for their yards). Easy to use, with intuitive user interface. I researched other brands and chose this.

The devise itself is awesome. However, the Rachio software/program has connectivity issues at times and it’s not my internet. My internet provider is Comcast.

Perfect to isolate certain areas of your yard. I had an electrician install the unit and i then progammed the product.

The Rachio works much better than a standard sprinkler controller, it was a breeze to set up and I love how it saves on water depending on current weather conditions.

First of let me say this is my 3rd Rachio. I recently moved and didn’t take my Gen 2 unit with me due to it being an 8 zone and I needed a 10 zone unit. Functionality is great with these products but this Gen 3 unit setup is horrible if you’re on a newer iPhone. After 45mins of trying to get this connect to WiFi from my iPhone 11 Pro and via Windows program they have I was unable to get the unit to work. I had to borrow someone’s older iPhone to get the unit to connect to my WiFi and then everything was good. IMO that is unacceptable! Once I got the unit setup to the WiFi I haven’t had any other issues and the unit has been functioning great.

First, it looks elegant and updates perfectly the outdated 20th century technology I was using before. It is easy to set up and control. But the outside "wall" was rickety and very hard to be able to screw into properly. Wiring took a little bit of intelligence but not much. But what was supposed to be a 10 minute procedure, while dumping a 2 hour procedure is the difficulties with the wall. The system itself works flawlessly and anticipates when the law does not need to be watering so no money is wasted. It also allows me to do extra watering via the app when new lawn or plants are added specific locations

Easy to install, easy to set up and easy to control the operation. Far superior in controlling what areas to water and when compared to my old sprinkler controller.
