It was better than any of the series besides the first two. I've told several of my friends that they should watch it if they get a chance.

A must own for Rambo Fans.

I absolutely LOVED this installment to the Rambo Series. At first it doesn't feel like rambo, more like Stallone... But once he gets on a role, It feels like John Rambo. I love it and sense they left the Door open for another one. The 4k transfer is super detailed and looks amazing. The steel book is cool. Definitely for the fan.

If this is the last Rambo, then this was a great send off for this character. The story was a bit off for the character, but to see it full circle made it a bit more him, not much but a bit more. Stallone still makes this character a must see, the action just as good, of not better than the last.

I really like the movie especially in 4K and got a really good price on the movie I couldn’t pass up the deal I’d recommend it a lot of action and it may be a little more blood than what I liked but it was great I gave it four stars out of five.

    STALONE YOU DA MAN

Stallone gives a strong performance here and further solidifies his status as the world's most underrated actor ever. This is the first time in the series where Rambo verbalizes (I think that's a word) quite a bit. Easily the most dialogue he's ever had in a Rambo movie. The movie does a great job of keeping things tense just before things spiral out of control (as usual). The excessive gore from the last movie has returned. If you're a fan of the franchise, that's good. The story is a big step up from the previous installment giving some backstory and giving the villains a bit more character this time around. The acting across the board is solid and the directing keeps you engaged in the mayhem.

    RAMBO LAST BLOOD bluray

PQ: While this is often a very sharp and well detailed looking presentation, it also has some pretty rough looking moments, especially in some of its many darker scenes, some of which have either been lit or graded to some kind of nightmarish, garish tones, something that may add to a noisy look at times. If you can overlook those passing anomalies, a lot of this transfer is extremely well detailed, especially considering how dark so many scenes are. A prevalence of close-ups helps to elevate fine detail. When grading and/or lighting don't alter things, the palette looks really beautifully warm and nicely suffused, as in some of the more pastoral moments that take place on the Rambo farm.

I love Sylvester Stallone so of course the Rocky and the Rambo series are my favorites. I love that he is the underdog and gives it his all. And I have seen he is like that in life too gives his acting his all too. It does bring attention to ' human trafficking ' and I was sad he could NOT save the girl. But in true Rambo style he does get even.

It has been over a decade since the last Rambo film and this one takes a very different approach overall. I was originally excited to check out how this supposed final film "ends" but was presented with something that felt reminiscent of a Rambo film that didn't hit on all cylinders like the original trilogy did. Rambo is as lethal as he ever was and I think Stallone still has it, but unfortunately the story and almost hack and slash nature of this film takes away from the more personal and internal side of the character. In the end, I would say it is worth a watch if you are a fan of John Rambo but keep in mind that it will feel very different than the previous films.

I knew from the title that this would be the last one. It was really good and I enjoyed it, despite the deaths. It concludes the series which is good for a change. Sly has aged as we all have. He's had a rough life despite his wealth. I look forward to seeing him in other movies. It was a good ending, not a happy one, but realistic.

    Rambo Still Doing His Thing

The Good - Stallone gives a strong performance here and further solidifies his status as the world's most underrated actor ever. This is the first time in the series where Rambo verbalizes (I think that's a word) quite a bit. Easily the most dialogue he's ever had in a Rambo movie. If you're a fan of the franchise, that's good. The story is a big step up from the previous installment giving some backstory and giving the villains a bit more character this time around. The acting across the board is solid and the directing keeps you engaged in the mayhem. The Bad- This sequel was not necessary. The last one provided closure for the character. War seems to find Rambo so we are treated to a ruthless pile up of bodies. There was one part where I questioned the villains approach. It was something that was ignored by the script. It's minor, but it's there. The Deal: If you're a fan of the franchise definitely check this out. This is the sequel I didn't know I wanted. The intensity, viciousness, and tragic elements are present in Stallone's performance. There is even a touch of humanity until he goes off the rails and is running around like a wild animal. The negative reviews you may hear are primarily at the film's violence. It sucks when they fool you and put excessive violence in a Rambo movie. What a curveball!! I have been entertained by every Rambo movie and this one is no exception.

    A great and savage finale...

Movie was made for anyone who's lost a daughter, wife/loved ones to gangs and sex trafficking, as well as the fans. Stallone doesn't hold back on the violence, but this is a very angry Rambo who's demons come back to haunt him in the form of PTSD. The setting is ten years after the Burmese events, and much of this time gap is left to audience interpretation as to what and how he settled down. That however isn't important, what's important is that this film, like Rambo 2008, has highlighted a real and nasty problem that has been going on for far too long south of the border. There is no racism, there is no political agenda, this a film that shotguns a lot of issues raw in front of your face. You see, once the chains come off of civilized Rambo, it's a one man army vs the Cartel in all its glory... On a side note, I believe there were two theatrical versions of this film released (89 and 101 minutes). Sadly, this one doesn't have any of the extended scenes which I believed featured a 9 minute flash flood sequence at the start, and some extra scenes of Victor and Hugo Martinez - the villains of the film. There might be another release of an extended edition in the future, but as far as I know this might be the only steelbook/collector's piece available. We'll have to wait and see. Still, if your a fan of Rambo and avid collector, I highly recommend this film to you. Thanks for reading and God Bless...

    The Best Movie

"Rambo: Last Blood" is the best of the "Rambo" movie and the best movie of 2019. Careless of what the offended people say about this movie, it truly is the best movie of the year and the one movie that does a fantastic job exposing the vicious sex and drug traficking industry of Mexico although the movie was filmed in various locations of Spain. The steelbook was a bit hard to pick up in the store on its release day, but thank Jesus for people like Angie who stuck around looking for it no matter how long it would take and consitently apoligizing for not being able to find it of which I told her to not worry as it will eventually be found and it did get found with the help of Angie. The movie is a must-see for all Stallone and "Rambo" fans carless of what critics, including David Morrell have to say about it. David Morrell penned a dark and disrespectful to American veterans in his version of "First Blood", which is the first "Rambo" movie, and Sly hated it so much that he rewrote it and made it into the big hit that it became and Morrell novelized the other 2 "Rambo" movie and became even more famous than he was, so rather than complaining about "Rambo: Last Blood", Morrell should be kissing the floor that Sky walks on. The latest one, "Rambo: Last Blood" is an awesome movie filmed using the same camera as the first movie, "First Blood", which David Caruso kicked off his career.

Watching this movie, I understand why fans of Rambo and even the writer of the original First Blood novel didn't care for this installment. But I got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the picture. From what I've read, the script was written before Rambo (2008), so I assume that's why it resembles a lot of those Taken-esque movies that followed. However, I believed the relationship between John and the girl and the third act is as over the top as ever. I've enjoyed every Rambo movie for one reason or another. First Blood, part 2 is actually my favorite and Stallone is one of my favorite action. Stars. From his action (Rambo) to his sports dramas (Rocky) to his comedy (Oscar), I think he brings a lot of passion to what he plays in. PQ and AQ are decent. I'd recommend a high rental, if not a direct purchase.

I missed this during its theatrical run in 2019; and when the blu ray dropped, decided to pick up a copy. You can’t compare action films like Rambo to other action films; this is just a simple straight to the point action film full of violence and gore. Anyways; if this is the last Rambo film... it’s just nice to see the character of Rambo doing his thing one last time.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. I’ve seen all of the Rambo movies, and for me the latest ones have been better than the earlier ones in many aspects. I like the more recent ones because of their more accurate portrayal of the violence, and also because of how broken of a man they show Rambo really is, and his both acceptance of it coupled with his self-hatred of this realization about himself. He knows he’s a broken individual, and he knows war and the ravages of it have made him this way, but he’s also seemed to have made peace with this and uses it to help others, which I like. This is part of what I enjoyed about this movie; I’m an action movie junkie, so this movie was right up my alley in that regard, but I also enjoyed how it wasn’t trite or predictable for such a type of movie as it is. And I always enjoy watching Rambo use his skills to take on the bad guys. And so because it’s an action movie, it’s Rambo, and it doesn’t stick to the standard action movie formula, I thought it was another excellent entry continuing the Rambo saga, and one worth recommending.
