Easy Change Out/Short Life For Rechargeables
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For months I resisted shopping for new rechargeable batteries for my Panasonic cordless home phone. A slightly older Panasonic cordless phone system I own has battery packs that have set on their chargers for years without needing new batteries. My slightly more advanced 6 GHz Panasonic cordless phone had its AAA rechargeable batteries give out months ago incapable of holding a charge. These Rayovac rechargeable batteries tout their ability to hold a charge for up to one year. This is much lower than the battery packs in my other phones and seems like an unnecessary additional expense. On the plus side the old Nickel AAA Panasonic batteries popped right out and were easily replaced by these new Rayovacs. The new Rayovacs were not fully charged out of the package requiring hours to fully charge. Only time will tell how long they will last on the charger stand. In any case the expense seems unnecessary and these replacements expensive for such a short life.
