Great idea but glasses were too big for me. Audio quality was good enough but not great. Would of kept if I could of got them to fit. Great idea been able to be hands free and talk to people especially without having something in my ear.

Awesome glasses! I can't comfortably wear earbuds so I use these to talk on the phone and watch videos comfortably in bed. I also stay up late a lot so having the blue filter that isn't obnoxious is amazing! Only downside is for a couple days I had to keep reconnecting it to my phone and relinking them but that issue has stopped so it could've been an issue with the app - which is probable because they didn't do this with my PC or laptop either.

I like these "smart" glasses. First, these are not augmented reality glasses. I know the "smart" title can be a little misleading. These are basically speakers in the glasses firing into the ear. Now, I don't mean to trivialize these devices. They are still engineering feats. I know that other companies have put out similar devices, so they are not the first of its kind to come out. However, I was excited to try out what these Anzu Smart Glasses from a extremely reputable gaming company had to offer.
I feel like the unboxing experience is just as much what you pay for as the device itself these days. I was not disappointed. I was pleased with the unboxing experience. The glasses were packaged very nicely, and they come with a premium looking case. Right out of the box, the smart glasses have the blue-light filtering lens on. If you desire, you can switch them out with the sunglasses lens that are also included. My understanding is that that for those who need prescription lens, you can get them (pay for them) separately through Lensabl. I elected to just keep the blue-light lens on. The build quality feels solid. These definitely don’t feel cheap. While the temples are pretty bulky, the fact that they are not regular glasses is not immediately obvious! That being said, you’re not going to be getting any compliments on your fashion any time soon. There are different lens size and shape options, so do your research before buying it!
The setup experience was very easy. I first charged them with the included charger. The charger is inside the carrying case for those who had trouble finding them like me! The included y-shaped USB cable connects magnetically via pin connectors to each temple side. It really is like wireless ear buds where each bud has to be charged. They take about 1.5 hours to fully charge. Mine came basically fully charged out of the box, but your mileage may vary. You also cannot use them while charging. After that, pairing via Bluetooth was quick and easy.
The audio experience is…fair. You are not going to get the rich and deep sounds that you would get from actual headphones, and these are not targeted towards the audiophile crowd. These are for everyday casual use. Songs are clear enough. Voices sound good. The advantage of these smart glasses are that they do not block your ears off. You are still able to hear your surroundings. That being said, the speaker form factor does mean that there is some sound bleed. If you share your office space with other people, I would be careful when listening to music so that it does not bother other people.
In terms of its features, it is IPX4 water resistant, so it can handle sweat and rain. A workout should be fine. I loved going out on bike rides with these. Unfortunately, you cannot mess with the EQ settings, which is hopefully a software fix later. There is a “gaming mode” for 60ms latency sound. These actually don’t impact battery life too much. You just have to be close to your device. Touch controls were fairly responsive although I really have trouble with all touch control devices. You can customize them in the app. In terms of the lens, the blue-light lens were fair. Colors do seem mildly warmer. I think all of these blue-light lens/filters tend to be more of a marketing thing than help with actual eye strain.
The battery life is where the Razer Anzu shines in comparison to its peers. They claim 5.5 hours of continuous use which I actually got close to. The battery use is minimal when not actively used so that was a huge plus. I had no trouble getting through a full day of use.
All in all, these are for a very few subset of people in my opinion. Headphones and glasses are both superior in their individual functions. However, if you are part of that group of people that needs this fusion device, then by all means go for it.
Pros:
Wireless Audio
Quick setup via Bluetooth
Different size/shapes available
Prescription lens available
Blue-light lens and sunglasses lens both included
Comfortable
5.5 hour battery life is higher than competition
Cons:
Sound quality is just ok
Sound leak
Bulky temples

Loved them at first but after a few days that love turned out flat. The play time is considerably short 4-5 hours when compared to my sony earbuds. The audio is decent if you're listening to news or on a phone call. As for music.. yeah... Not my go too. I was really disappointed on the fact i couldn't use this on my ps4 or ps5 despite this company being pretty much into gaming.. so if your going mobile games this is an A+.. other than that.. stick to another brand

I love these Razer Anzu smart glasses. The fit is perfect and the sound for music and phone calls are amazing. I highly recommend. All I got to do now is get my eye exam so I can send them in to get prescription lens for them. They do come with 2 types of lens.

If you are someone that looks at a screen for hours and wanna be proactive with your eyes and not feel the strain around 3+ hours, this product is 2nd to none. Not only will you feel sharper but to be able to listen to a podcast/music with the person beside you having no idea is something you simply cannot explain without trying yourself and you also don’t have to worry with earbud soreness on your ears for having them in for hours.
If I have to say anything negative about these it would simply be my battery last around 5 hours for music and i typically work in 6-7 hour sessions. Again 5 hours is still amazing, Anyone looking at these, just try them one time if you don’t like them simply return them but I guarantee you will not even think about living without them.

Most versatile frames you can get!

During the time I have had with them, I have been wondering how I survived without them. I didn't realize how much I needed them until I got them. They are super versatile with what they can do, and what you can do. You can go out to the beach with sunglasses and some non-invasive music. Or you can be at home playing video games with your blue light filter and have the sound with the mic right in the frames. The possibilities are almost endless.
The lenses are great, the blue light filters are awesome for my late night gaming sessions and the occasional long work session. They really help keep the eye strain down and help me stay focused. The Polarized lenses are great too. They are a grey tint. They are a lighter tint so it won't be over the top.
Build quality is great. They are sturdy yet flexible in pressure areas. They have a double hinge so they can bend both ways without damaging the glasses. I love this because I have bent many sunglasses due to the frames having no relief for putting the glasses on, or getting bent when a buddy tries them on. They are also spring loaded so they will stay straight even after the hinge is worn, to help with longevity.
Sound quality is pretty decent. But mind that this is not an in-ear or over-ear headphones so the sound quality cannot be compared to that. They definitely have some bass in them. For in glasses speakers I think they sound good. They don’t get super loud but they will get loud enough for you to drown out what's around you. They do have quite a bit of sound bleed as they are not enclosed. So make sure to be mindful of the surrounding parties. The built in microphone is really good allowing seamless and clear calls. Overall they do pretty well for in glasses speakers.
Battery life is excellent. It gets me through the day without needing a charge. The charging cable is good quality with a braided Y cable to charge both sides with a magnetic end to line up the contacts. The app allows for the gestures to be changed to your liking. There are 3 EQ presets on the app, but I found that the Default gives the best results. The gestures are very intuitive allowing for the normal play/pause, Skip/Back, and the voice assistant.
The only issue I have which is very minor is its very nerve racking to swap the lenses. Since you have to pop them out of the frames with some force. So that being said I am a little worried about the frames being worn out or damaged from constant swapping. I currently use them basically exclusively as blue light filters. I switch the lenses to sunglasses for trips and long car rides.
Overall these glasses are a great pair of frames without all the smart abilities. You add the smart abilities and you have a powerhouse. These glasses are perfect for every occasion. They are my companion everywhere, and they should be yours too.

these are comfortable to use and i love them for that. i love that they also come with 2 sets of lenses. one blue light filter, which is great if you are on a computer a lot. and the other sunglass type which is great if out and about. sound is ok. its not the loudest when max but can still hear.
what i love is being able to use these and still hear when someone comes to talk to me. i have a iphone and apple watch so it is easy to adjust sound as well as song thru watch. the case is leather and feels great. it has a couple basic touch functions and with the app you can adjust what you want to do.
but why am i giving it a 3 star. like i mentioned, sound is not the loudest. but it also can be heard from those around. i had mine on medium and my wife 15 feet or so away was able to hear it. she could not quite make out the lyrics and said it was like when someone has headphones on and you can hear it but not make out what is said. when i did max it out, she then could understand what was said. had the same response with coworkers as well.
no volume control on the glasses so you cant turn sound up or down.
the case, its nice and even has a pocket inside to put charge cord. however, i would love to see a few things changed. i would love to see a way to charge the glasses while in the case. even better if it has a battery built in that would charge glasses for you when you put them in the case. but i would at least be happy with just a way to plug in the charger to the case and then a way that the glasses can be put in the case to charge. like a magnet to keep them on the charge port. similar to air buds. i would also like to see the case be able to hold the extra lenses. at work i am indoors and on a computer but then ride a bus home so would love to change out and put the sunglasses on.
i like the concept of these for sure. the mic is not the best but works and gets the job done.
overall i think these are best for those who wear glasses a lot or work on a computer in a office.
they are comfortable to wear all day. i love again that although not the loudest i can still hear what is playing. and i can hear if someone comes up and talks.

Love that razer has produced this product and have added the polarized smoked and blue light lens at no charge. At the time of buying this product I picked these up for 180 dollars and find that these are worth it. These are not a replacement to headphones or earbuds because you will find the audio can not compete. take this product for what it is sun glasses that could play sound
