I do love this mousepad. It glides very well and is a great size, however it is quite loud. I don’t mind the sound too much so its wonderful for me! If you’re looking for a mousepad with maximum glide and dont care about the sound, this is perfect!

It’s hard to describe this mouse pad as a first time glass pad user. It’s extremely smooth with enough friction that you lose control, it’s incredibly easy to clean, and it looks fantastic. I was torn between the superglide and Atlas but I am more than happy with going with Razer’s product. Even though it’s $100, I highly recommend as it will last a long time and you don’t have to worry about oils and dirt making it less efficient in a year.

I haven't used a glass gaming mat before. I've used the nice rubber backed, large mats in the past, but I go back and forth between using a mat and just using my desktop.
So my first and continued impression of this mat is that it has a stunning look to it. Perfectly rounded edges and corners give it an appealing shape. The size is really good and allows you to use however much space you need. When gaming, there is plenty of room to use large mouse sweeps, and even during the most intense games, when you tend to get so involved your mousing gets exaggerated, you don't run off the edge. The dimensions are a bit odd at 17.72” X 15.75”, but you can position it however it works best in your system. Either slightly more horizontal space or more vertical space. It really just depends on how much real estate you have on your desktop.
The black finish on the top is really beautifully done. It's as uniform as you can imagine. No blemishes or flaws anywhere. And on top of that, it doesn't seem to get any fingerprints or lines from your mouse. It just stays that beautiful finish. Razer claims that's due to a protective coating on the surface, and whatever it is, it seems to work very well. It doesn't feel like you would expect a glass plate to feel like because of the micro etched surface. The etching is what allows for smooth swipes and accurate mousing. The entire bottom of the plate is covered in a thin rubber mat. This plate has never moved even a little bit on me. You can position it where you want it with a little bit of effort, but because of it's weight and the rubber pad, it will stay where you put it. Razer does caution about making sure the entire mat is on your desktop with none of the edges hanging over the side. Being made of glass, it's strongest when it's placed on a completely flat surface. I was wondering if the height of the mat would bother me at all, and I can say that it doesn't. It's only 0.19” high, so it's actually not as high as a lot of other game pads I've used. It's comfortable to use and I never felt like my hand was resting on top of something instead of just being flat on my desk.
Mouse movement is precise and accurate. Even the smallest movement is translated to the screen. This is not only a good gaming pad, it works really well for any kind of application, especially graphics creation. It has a completely uniform feel from edge to edge. I'm using a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse with it, and the feeling is super smooth. One thing I will disagree with however is the statement that it's “quieter” than other glass mouse mats. I can't say how it compares to other glass mats, but I will say that it's definitely not quieter that just using my mouse on my desktop. The sound is a higher pitched swipe sound than just using a mouse on my desktop. Is it louder or more annoying? No. It's just an observation and like most things, you tend to get used to the sound and just expect it. But I do disagree with Razer's “quieter” statement.
This is a really unique mouse plate. It looks fantastic and is sure to get some great comments from your friends. It doesn't have the look of a traditional mouse pad, this is much cooler and will make people take a second look to see just what it is. I'm happily impressed with the looks and the performance.

The Razer Atlas Tempered Glass gaming mouse mat is named "Atlas" for a reason.
This thing is friggin' HUGE! But that's a good thing, if you have the desktop space. I was both excited and apprehensive to try this thing out. The dimensions were daunting and being glass, it was easy to assume it would be too shiny and a scratch magnet. Neither of those last two concerns ended up being true.
This glass tracking surface is amazing. It's THAT simple. I've used a multitude of various materials, brands and quality over the years and nothing - absolutely nothing - compares to the performance, action and precision of the Razer Atlas Tempered Glass mat.
There's not a lot of facets to cover here - it's just a tracking surface. But I tried 5 different mice on this thing ( three of my favorites in the picture attached ) and each & every one of them performed much better on the Atlas than any other hard or cloth surface mouse mat I currently own, have owned or used. The Logi Superlight, Logi G903 and Steelseries Rival 650 Quantum are all fighting for my attention now. Two other notable mice that came to life on this mat are the Corsair M65 Ultra and the Razer Deathadder Elite.
The photo will give the appearance that the Atlas has a rather coarse texture layer to it - but that is an optical illusion. It's exaggerated. The finely tuned and evenly applied texture on this thing borders on smooth as can be - it just doesn't look like it.
I'm convinced and eagerly awaiting some smaller versions of this Razer design to spread around the 'domain'... because these things are worth every penny. I've used it extensively for several weeks and I cannot detect a single scratch or wear pattern in the 'traffic zone' I'm inclined to use.
If you have the desktop space and want the best - GO BUY THIS!
Pros:
Quality Razer construction & workmanship
Attractively subtle, low-key Razer branding in the corner
Non-skid rubber backing
Easy to clean - like easier than anything else. Period
Elevates the glide response of everything; even the most primitive of mice offerings
Appears highly wear resistant
Cons:
None
Notables:
The size of this mat isn't for everyone and it's heavy.
Highly Recommended!

Until now, I have only used either fabric mouse pads or simply whatever surface the desk top was at the time. I now cannot imagine using anything other than the Razer Atlas tempered glass gaming mat!
The mat comes in a very well padded box with very clear instructions that this thing is heavy and has the potential to break given it is tempered glass. It suggests laying on a completely flat surface to avoid cracking or unwanted damage.
The bottom of the mat is a rubber honeycomb like texture that allows the matt so securely remain in it's intended place. The top of the mat is black tempered glass (this varies depending on color you choose) which is completely smooth to the touch, however, the glass itself has very minor texturing to ensure the optical sensor on the mouse picks up enough to track well. The edges are polished and smooth and very comfortable when wrists pass over them. The mat is also HUGE at 17.72" x 15.75" so make sure you measure the area you intend to place this to make sure it fits.
Mouse tracking is exceptional. I had to turn down the polling speed of my mouse until I got used to it. Mouse glides are effortless and smooth. The large size ensures you will never run out of mat real estate if you position the mouse towards the center. There is no noise from the mat as the mouse glides across the surface. Just smooth tracking all the way.
The underside of the mat may pick up dust or other debris due to it's more sticky nature, however, the tempered glass on top is super easy to clean, just a quick wipe away with a cloth and it looks brand new again. This is a vast improvement over fabric mouse pads of the past (for me anyway).
All in all, this is a solid mouse pad, that enhances the use of a mouse in any condition, not only gaming. It is extremely well made, looks beautiful and simple. It does exactly what it is intended to do and it does it well. I will never go back to a fabric mat after this!

Razer Quality, Made for Gamers

Right out of the box this Razer Atlas Tempered Glass Gaming Mouse Mat impressed. Even though it was wayyy bigger than I'd expected. Guess I misjudged the size. But no matter, it's still pretty darn awesome! This Razer Atlas mouse mat is indeed stylish to look at, which is nice, especially for people who have gone to great lengths to customize their gaming desk setup.
The mouse mat is made really well. The premium tempered glass has a 'glassy smooth' micro-etched surface, that allows your mouse to literally glide across it. I did notice that my mouse movements were even more precise, and yes, "lightning-fast." Almost too fast. But you can always go into your device settings and adjust all that. In addition, the movement of your gaming mouse across the mat is super quiet, and so far, I've not noticed any marks or scratches. Plus, the mat's unique protective coating makes it easy to just wipe away any smudges or gunk (with a soft damp cloth or shammy), which may collect on the smooth tempered glass. And the anti-slip rubberized base on the bottom side of the mouse mat ensures that it stays put, while also making sure the mat doesn't mar your desk.
For those gamers having room on their gaming desk, this large size 'mousepad' will give them plenty of "real estate" to move their gaming mouse around on. Good stuff. Unless it's just a bit too big for your purposes. So take that into account.
I own many Razer products, and I'm pleased to add this Atlas Tempered Glass Mouse Mat to my gaming arsenal.

I Won't Be Going Back To My Cloth Pad!

As you've probably heard by now, glass pads are definitely an acquired taste. After extensively using this glass pad over the past several weeks, I can certainly see why. What's the best way to describe my experience with the Razer Atlas? Think of a hockey puck on an ice skating rink whereby the puck is your mouse and the ice skating rink is the Atlas glass pad. The faintest nudge on the mouse sends it gliding away from it's previous location due to the ultra slick polished surface. With this incredible amount of glide comes great responsibility. This was a very steep learning curve for me when it came to precision. I'll be honest; I wasn't a fan at first. I'm glad I stuck with it though as now that my performance is at least on par with my previous cloth pad, I've been having a blast on this new surface.
One of the biggest challenges when it came to the learning curve was learning how not to overshoot my swipes due to how slick the surface is. At first, you'll likely want to immediately gravitate back to your cloth pad as you'll feel like you have more control due to the added friction on a cloth pad. However, if you stick with it for a few days, you'll get used to the nuances of the slicker surface and begin to develop the "muscle memory" required to consistently be precise. After a few days of use, I was back to the deadly accuracy I was used to when playing with Hanzo in Overwatch 2 or my AWP quick scopes in CS:GO. Am I better with this Atlas glass pad over my cloth pad? I'm not sure to be honest. After about 3 weeks of use, I would say that I'm certainly as good as I was on my cloth pad. It's arguable whether I'm actually more precise. After the initial week of use, I started to perform very close to what I was used to on my cloth pad. By now, since I feel that I can perform as well, I won't be going back to my cloth pad. So why choose this glass pad over a standard cloth pad then? If you've always slightly preferred gaming on a hard surface over cloth, you might love this. As someone who goes way back to using Ratpadz XTs (the true "OG" of hard pads) back in 2007, I've always had fun gaming on hard surface pads and I have typically preferred them if done right. The problem with hard pads from the recent past is that most of them were built out of plastic with coating that would wear down with use (much like the Ratpadz did back in the day). With the Razer Atlas being constructed out of tempered glass as well as having an extremely fine micro-etched coating, this thing seems like it's going to last for ages but only time will tell.
Overall, I've grown to like this glass mouse mat and have made it my main pad since I don't see a degradation in my performance from switching over from cloth. I'm really curious to see if I end up seeing a performance improvement in the long run. For now, this is just an extremely premium built mouse mat that I'm having tons of fun with. I must note that this is certainly the most premium and gorgeous mousepad that I've ever used. I also love the real estate that you get with this large slab of tempered glass. The pad measures 17.5" wide x 16" tall x 1/8" deep. This is more than plenty for me for most game genres. Temperature also hasn't had an effect on performance. Whether it's been hot or cold in my room, performance has been the same. Razer also uses a fantastic friction mat on the underside of the pad which does a great job of keeping it stationary as I game. As someone who uses a wireless Razer Viper Ultimate, I can attest to never having experienced any spin outs while gaming (which was one of my main concerns with gaming on a glass pad).
In terms of cons, I would say that the slightly larger depth of the glass makes this pad a bit taller than most of the cloth pads that you're probably used to. For that reason, depending on where you position the pad on your desk, I could see someone not liking their forearm being raised a bit more off their desk as they rest it on the pad. For me, this wasn't a big deal at all as I place my pad at the bottom edge of my desk anyway. I'm also able to adjust the height on my chair arm rests as necessary. I can also see portability being an issue if you're someone that likes to take your premium gaming peripherals with you on the go. Do bear in mind that this glass pad will definitely be noiser than your standard cloth pad. The "clicks" and "clanks" as you lift and rest the mouse back down on the surface will be a lot more audible due to the hard surface. The last con that must be mentioned is the learning curve. As mentioned previously, because of the extra smooth glide, you'll initially feel that you have less control when it comes to really precise shots in any type of sniper or headshot scenario. You'll probably become a bit frustrated as I did. Stick with it for at least a week. If you're experience is anything like mine, you'll be back to hitting all your shots once that muscle memory settles in.
Overall, I've really enjoyed using this Atlas glass pad so far. I'm loving the extra smooth and polished coating against my wrist, forearm, and fingers. I've also grown to like the extra slick glide it provides whilst also learning the discipline that it takes to control it. If you can get past the minor cons, and if you've always been open to gaming on a hard pad, I would highly recommend giving this a spin. You may end up falling in love with it!

The Razer Atlas Tempered Glass Gaming Mouse Mat in Black is a sleek and stylish addition to any gaming setup. Despite returning it, I appreciated its premium build quality and smooth surface, which provided excellent precision and responsiveness for my gaming sessions. The tempered glass construction added a touch of sophistication, and the non-slip rubber base ensured it stayed securely in place during intense gaming moments. While it ultimately didn't suit my preferences, I can see its appeal for gamers looking for a combination of style and functionality in their mouse pad.

This mousepad had a HUGE learning curve which Aimlabs definitely helped with given the right routines and now my aim has never been more confident, from the jump I knew this mousepad could either be my greatest weapon or my biggest enemy. I knew I had to learn to manipulate it if I wanted clean transfers from target to target and crispy aim. This mousepad ironically had me increasing my sensitivity once I got used to it and it didn’t take more than a day if I’m honest because of how smooth it is. It’s not too slippery because it has a matte finish and a great oleophobic coating and it honestly makes me feel more controlled with my aim which honestly is very surprising. Definitely worth every penny and would recommend for anyone who believes they’re skeptical about glass mousepads this is my first and probably only mousepad I’ll be using from now on, the only con is portability because it’s pretty big but if you have a gaming setup with the mouse space then it’s definitely worth copping. Extremely smooth as well.

Here's my honest take on this.
Quality of this product is excellent, it's sleek
the mouse glides extremely smooth over it. It's tempered glass so it's a quality product.
Now, $100 is a steep price for a mouse pad if you have the disposable income for it, go right ahead. Otherwise, it's just mouse pad.

Let me start off by saying this is a game changer with immediate results, the moment you start to aim with this, feels like you have entered the "zone" it feels like weight has been lifted from your hand. No matter where the enemy moves you hand seamlessly tracks it, im not lying. Try this thing out yes its 100$ but youll never have to buy another mouse pad ever again, even with a good quality cloth pad eventually moisture, dirty and gunk just accumulates on there and deteriorates the cloth overtime making you buy another one, buy it, try it and if you dont like it just return it 14 days is more than enough time to find out i wasnt lying.

Didn't know if I'd like a glass mat, but turned out to be a can't live without type of purchase once I tried it. Your mouse glides effortlessly over it and it stays cool on your wrist and palm. A bit expensive would like to see the price come down but it's a fantastic product.
