I have used this headset for over 2 years and is one of the best wireless headsets for gaming. Starting with the conectivity this headsets are very easy to use either with the dongle or bluetooth (it has both). second of all the audio is excellent. In game its very detailed so u can hear steps very clear. Also the built of the headsets is awsome having a slight yet effective noice cancelling effect.

I absolutely loved these headphones. They were my babies. The sound was good for the price and it fit the needs I had. However, I have had them just over 2 years and they snapped at the headband when I took them off. Reached out to Razer, which was already difficult to do, they do not want you to find contact support. They refused to do anything since it was outside my warranty. I asked if there was any way I could send them in and pay for them to get fixed, but the ignored me the multiple times I asked this. The customer service representative promised he would try to get me a replacement anyway, but then they closed my case and never bothered to answer if I could pay for repairs. Extremely disappointed with their service and the product not lasting over 2 years. The experience makes me want to find a new brand that actually cares about their consumers, because Razer obviously does not

They are less than a year old and already broke. They are taped to still be able to use. They are used by 1 teenager daily but treated responsibly.

Honestly for the sale price I paid these are not a bad pair of headphones. They don't sound great out of the box but the included THX software does a pretty great job of fixing that. My biggest complaint is the USB-C Dongle that they come with. I ran into an inconsistent connection issue with the dongle. It seems like the headset/dongle goes into a sort of power saver mode when nothing is playing but does not always come back up when something starts playing. The quick way around this is to just re-plug the dongle. Additionally, when using the dongle there is a faint hissing sound when nothing is playing, This doesn't seem to be an issue caused by the noise canceling but more so feedback from other signals in my home. Long story short if I'm not gaming I flat out do not use the dongle and instead opt to connect the headset via Bluetooth, even without the dongle the delay on the Bluetooth isn't really enough to cause many issues but for FPS games it can be too much. Would I but these again...probably.

Been using this headset for about 2 years still going strong. Battery life is great. Battery lasts well beyond a 18 hour session. Audio is average. I love the mic. No exposed mic arm. This is my go to and will deff buy again if it ever stops working

I gave the headset a 3star rating however if I could give this headset a 2.5star instead I would.
Recently Razer released a new line up for the barracuda
the budget, mid tier, flagship
to give you a idea of what i'll compare to is their other flagship model the Blackshark V2 Pro from 2020
The Blackshark v2 pro is possibly my most favorite headset for gaming as of date. I've owned most flagship models from other companies such as HyperX[thier new 300hour battery headset], SteelSeries[including their latest the artic nova pro], Turtlebeach, LucidSound, Corsair
So what does this headset do compared to that flagship model better -- it has bluetooth for mobile and a very good battery life thats it
The razer barracuda fails to deliver in most areas such as
-Sound [out of box EQ which is default with no tuning is not good at all they require tuning once you set them up]
-Loudness
-Microphone [its abysmal built in mics are never great] thier budget version of this headset has a better microphone than their mid tier and flagship like. What?
Bluetooth codec they use is SBC which for a pair of headphones they are trying to market for mobile users at this price is not acceptable. meaning it doesnt do hi res audio like what APTx HD or LDAC. which AptX has a version for low latency while providing somewhat decent audio quality.
I can NOT recommend this line up from razer this time around both the pro and mid tier failed miserably this time around
if your a mobile player go with something else while visually they do look nice why settle for mediocre

Too tight for me. If you think you have a big size head, I would say this is not a good option for you.

There is a big difference in the audio and sound delay when the headphones are plugged in vs. Bluetooth connection.

Best headphones in this price range. Period. The USB C dongle allows you to connect to anything quickly and the app lets you switch between your Bluetooth devices almost as quick. The fabric is extremely comfortable even with glasses and I can wear them for hours on end.

This isn’t a good gaming headset, lot of lagging issues, trying to play online had a lot of static noise and other players couldn’t not understand me, almost like a robotic voice… DO NOT BUY FOR GAMING

The microphones are a total joke, no matter what setting they sound like you are using a speakerphone in an empty concrete bunker. Avoid this headset entirely if you care how you sound, unless you already use a separate mic. The audio output and comfort are fine otherwise.
