Great Headset...When It Works
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it works, the headset is near perfect, but it has one serious flaw. Let's start with the positives: the sound is great and it's very comfortable to wear. The build quality is nice; you can drop it or bang it around without fear of breaking it. Maybe I got a lemon, but I continue to have connectivity issues. Nearly every time I game, there comes a point where it intermittently beeps, disconnects, beeps again, then reconnects. Some games have become unplayable. I have tried everything to remove any sort of interference between my headset and my PC and every other troubleshooting option you can think of with no luck. Hopefully they fix this with the new version.

Great headset, intermittent connectivity issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is a great headset. It is very comfortable, easy to use, and sounds great! Unfortunately for me, the headset would intermittently disconnect and then reconnect. While the disconnect was brief, there is a tone that plays with each disconnect/reconnect and it is very disruptive. I used the headset for gaming and virtual meetings and the connectivity issues were annoying for both. I thought I may have just had a bad set, but the second set after doing an exchange did the same thing. This may be limited to something else in my office, but they just would not work for me. The other con is the lack of any indication with the status of mute. There is no led and there is no chime...the only indication is the mute switch.

Simply The Best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put, the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro is the best wireless gaming headset on the market right now. An ultralight but still sturdy build and powerful audio quality come together beautifully with this headset, and as a result it's one of the rare gaming headsets that can actually make you forget you're wearing it. Razer's new tri-force drivers pump out powerful bass that never drowns out the rest of the mix, and I never heard even a hint of distortion, even at the highest volume levels. Battery Life is also upper echelon, and the headset is stylish to boot (especially in white). If you're tired of garish RGB- infused gaming headsets and are looking for something you're not embarrassed to wear in public, these will fit the bill nicely as well. If you're looking for the best overall gaming headset on the market, look no further...

Exceptional comfort, weight, quality!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first wireless headset had to be RMA'ed (different model/brand) so I spent quite a bit of time comparing gaming headsets as a replacement. Comfort, weight, sound quality, and ease of button/volume dial use were exceptional on the BlackShark V2. My only concern is with the USB port, which seemed a bit too tight, and worried occasionally about how hard I have to push to get the charging cable connected each time. A random customer in the store noticed I was looking at the BS V2 and mentioned she had one and it was the best headset decision she ever made. Her testimonial weighed quite a bit on my decision, but ultimately it came down to weight, solid construction, and comfort in direct comparison with the others available. Price point feels a bit high (should be ~$30 less IMHO), definitely worth it. Exceptional mic sound recording quality that rivals any boom mic. A great choice for streamers without having to make additional investments in more gadgets.

Amaing sound and comfort with a few issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From a sound quality perspective (which is the reason you buy a headset) Razer knocked it out of the park. I’m not one to praise companies but hats off to whoever decided to put 50mm triple drivers in this product. When gaming you can hear absolutely EVERYTHING. The highs, mids and lows are all crystal clear. The bass reponse was the big surprise. At no point does the bass ever muddle the audio it simply enhances the experience with deep, rich (but not overwhelming bass). The Razer PC software allows you to tune the audio to your exact taste and save multiple audio profiles for different games and programs on your computer. I’ve seen complaints about the Razer software being, “buggy” but personally I have yet to run into any issues. Speaking of issues let’s now talk about the problems that stop this headset from getting a perfect 5/5 rating. The first is the microphone sidetone aka (being able to hear your own voice through the headset microphone) is virtually nonexistent. In the Razer software you can crank up the sidetone volume to maximum and you will barely be able to hear yourself. You can turn the volume knob on the side of the headset all the way up to hear yourself a little better but this introduces a new issue. The issue is static feedback aka (white noise) this only happens when the volume controller on the headset is turned to over 75% volume or under 15% volume. If you can deal with those drawbacks I would say at $119 this is a no brainer. The sound quality is amazing and the comfort is top tier. Keep in mind you will be limited in what devices you can use this headset with as the only form of connection is through wireless USB or the wired 3.5mm Jack. I caught these on sale and am having a great time. A side note this is primarily a PC headset sounds great on PS5 but you will not have separate chat and game mix audio sliders. This isn’t a dealbreaker as you can manually adjust chat volume settings in the menu of most multiplayer games it’s just an extra step that some might not be to fond of. Hope this review helps you make your decision. Remember if you spot these on sale definitely go for it.

Great headset
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great headset for my gaming and video watching use. The sound is great and the headset is super comfortable during my long gaming sessions. Battery life has been solid and comes with a long enough cord that it stays out of the way and doesn’t get in the way when plugged in. I’ve used razor products before and this one like the others lives up to the quality and reputation they have built in the peripheral game.

Stellar headphones
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are extremely comfortable. Sound is pretty good, I just feel like the volume levels can't get too high. Really the only downside. Wireless connectivity is great, battery life too. Easy to use. If you can get these on sale definitely do it.

Horrific Microphone. Big downgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer… if you are going to label something as pro and market it as top of the line for gaming, AT LEAST make the quality the same if not better than the non-pro model as well. The good: The sound profile and ranges on this headset are awesome. I have near zero complaints with the incoming audio. The bass is deep, the sounds are rich. It made me feel like I was actually IN the game at times. The headset is moderately comfortable, I don’t have huge ears, so the cups went over nice and easy and didn’t weigh a ton, so no strain was caused. The battery life, as marketed is great. Lasts over 20 hours without a doubt. The bad: the outgoing sound, AKA this god awful microphone. The non-pro version of this, which comes wired has a MUCH better sounding microphone. This is due to 1. It being wired opposed to wireless. Data gets dropped or lost over wireless at times. And 2. The wired version comes with a usb sound card that dramatically helps the audio coming from your mic come out in better quality. Now before anyone comes knocking, I tried everything with the default mic. On Discord everyone told me I sounded like I was in a cave, or like a McDonald’s drive through intercom. I tried all the profiles and all the fancy software options with Razer Synapse 3. I then found a post discussing the golden EQ settings, which I tried. It did help… but it was still bad. I upgraded from a old kraken, and this thing in terms of mic was a massive downgrade. Now if you don’t plan on using voice comms, go ahead. No harm done, this sounds fantastic. But if you play on PC or console, and use your mic to talk to your buddies, it’s a hard pass for me.

Great sound quality and comfort
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tested a lot of the wireless headsets in this price range and these were the ones I kept. All headsets require EQ to sound decent imo. These sounded the best pre and post eq. Tight, controlled bass and all the clarity I need in this price range. The yokes do start to get a bit loose after ~6-12 months which makes it so you do have to adjust the band occasionally during use. Not a huge deal but also not ideal. Comfort and sound quality are better than logi pro x.

Good Headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it at $160. Not sure If I would have spent more then $40 over the Acrtis 7P. Pros Sound quality is excellent. Can hear clearly Comfort is good. Almost as good as the SteelSeries Arctis 7P but that’s sold out everywhere. Build quality is good. Great volume control. It’s a knob that you can’t confuse width another control. Works with multiple devices Great headset. Works with PS5. Cons Could be a bit louder. Enough for me but I can see someone saying it isn’t loud. Mute doesn’t work well with PS5 Earpiece length adjustment doesn’t hold well.

High quality headset!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s much more sleek in design than my previous wireless razer headset, I also love the option to remove the microphone, as I have an external one. The range is slightly better than some wireless headphones I’ve tried in the past, but as soon as you go around a wall or two it seems to die completely. I’m extremely satisfied with the battery life, I can use it for 6-8 hours with no problems at all. I have yet to have it die on me. Overall I think it’s a great headset, a little pricy but so far it seems to be worth the cost.

a really nice headset.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this for both work and gaming, and really like it so far. it's light and comfortable enough to wear for 8+ hours of work, and not hate using it for another couple hours of gaming afterwards. The sound is pretty close to spectacular (and I'm a bit of an audio snob) and the THX enhancement not entirely useless. The battery holds up through an entire day's use, as well. My only gripe is the Synapse software is a little wonky, but at least you don't have to do much fiddling with it after the initial set up. As long as the build quality holds up, which I have no reason to believe it won't, Razer has a real winner here...as long as you don't mind looking like a helicopter pilot.

Best on the market
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Top tier headset, great ergonomics, feels great for hours on end. Most minor downside is how stuffy your ears get after a bit of time with the headphones on. Fresh air is a must. Great audio quality, i use it mainly in games like R6 and MW19, sounds amazing, the lows are clear, the highs are crisp, and its everything i could ask for in a headset.

Killer Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are pretty good headphones. The sound quality is SO much better than my last set, and they’ve lasted a long time. I bought these on July 2022 and it’s not October 2023 and they’re still kickin. It’s not too heavy on the head, and it’s really good for calls (videochats, discord, teamspeak, etc.)

A major go
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent choice if searching for a wireless gaming headset. I love the comfort and quality of the build. As someone with slight hearing loss; this headset still can get loud enough to compensate. Along with the razer software you can really tweak these to get the sound you're looking for. One of my favorite things about the Black shark V2 pro is that they don't scream gamer. They kinda have this cool helicopter pilot aesthetic that I think is really cool. Price might deterr some but they seem well worth the price. Got mine with a free Razer rgb stand so it was a no brainier for me.

Love it! Razer has been winning me over
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love how light it is, sounds amazing. I had to give it 4 stars because the range isn’t as good as my artic pro wireless. Walking from my room to the kitchen i lose signal and it goes tin canning with the sound and then after a minute or two it’ll fix it’s self. But besides that I love this headset. I’ve only use the mic for one day and went back to my normal mic but my buddies said I sound really good.

They’re good but expect a lot of tweaking.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They have pretty decent sound quality, and the THX is by far the best surround sound tech, but it leads to some issues. The main issues is tweaking the hell out of the EQ depending of what you are doing. You will quickly realize many games don’t have great sound quality, and varied sound ranges, which means you will need to go through and set up profiles in the razer program for each thing you are doing. The THX spatial sounds great on some video games, but try to watch a youtube video and you can get blown out by overemphasized low tones, so you are going to need to set up a profile for that. Playing an FPS is great for sound location, but if you try to play an MMO with that same sound settings, you are going to be blown out by wind blowing and birds chirping and some NPC cutting wood down the road making it so you can’t hear the NPC speaking right in front of you. Lastly I have had some issues with the Manual THX mode settings. You can select auto or manual and set each THX mode by the program you are running. Which is great, and even better they have a bunch of modes that are Game Developer approved so you should be getting the best soundscape right?! That is not always the case. When I use auto it sounds fine, but when I use the Dev approved mode everything sounds distant, like I am inside a box listening to someone use surround sound. Keep in mind this software is still in beta, so it will likely improve, and the headset has the quality hardware for it to improve even more with perfectly tuned software…but that leads me to another question….why are you selling me an unfinished product for this price? The software IS part of the product.

Not wireless for Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I love these Light, comfy, and the sound is clean I have had a few head sets including the Microsoft 2021 headset, turtle beach, and astros. Because these are so light, they take the cake Butttt the fact that for Xbox they are wired and not wireless…. 4 stars. So the charging means nothing because I have to use them wired. I pair it with the turtle beach adapter for the Xbox controller
