Build Quality is amazing, but the metal picks up fingerprints so carry a cloth with you.
Speed and Startup Time is fantastic as long as you restart it every once in a while and regularly check for updates for your device(s) and drivers,
The Razer Software can be a little ganky but it works reliably once you set everything up the way you want. I recommend learning the keybinds to make quick changes like chaining the refresh rate as they work quickly and don't require you to look for options in the software.
The Heat and Noise of this laptop are some of it's best features as the heating system inside is ingenious. When you are gaming, you will barely notice the heat as the fans go THROUGH the keyboard hitting your fingers and palm keeping you and the area of the device you will be interacting with really cool. However, this experience doesn't transfer well to sitting it on your lap as you will feel the heat as your legs will be touching the rest of the chassis which WILL be hot and your pants could block the airflow through the keyboard.
The Battery Life can be great if you need it to be great, however it can also be dramatically reduced to basically only 10% of how long the battery life should last very easily. The main ways battery life can be destroyed are not having the device configured properly, repeatedly opening and closing the laptop causing it to have to restart each process multiple times, or running games with the performance options turned on. I recommend doing some research on how to optimize the battery life to fit your needs. If I am doing basic web surfing, running simple applications like word, or other similar tasks than I can get a battery life of up to 11 hours but more realistically I can get it to last 7-8 hours with regular use.
If you're going to be running games that are either graphically challenging or that need a high refresh rate, then you should bring your razer charger with you as not only will the battery life only last an hour if you're lucky, but some performance options like cpu boost are only available while plugged in. FYI, you can't use performance options while charging using USB C as it cannot effectively power the graphics card meaning you'll only get an increased battery life but no increased performance while using USB C.
Portability for this laptop is great. The body of the laptop is extremally durable. The weight might be a little hefty but for me it's fine to carry and move around one handed. If you are smaller, this laptop might be a little heavy but anyone with two hands should be able to comfortably move this device around.
PS I recommend getting a skin for this laptop, preferably dBrand as their cases seem the best. While the metal body of this laptop is extremally durable, it isn't scratch resistant so a skin would protect against that. Also, you'd get rid of the annoying fingerprints everywhere if you get one of dBrands skins as they are fingerprint resistant.

The Razer Blade 14” is an amazing Gaming Laptop.
A lot of folks mention it needs more ram or upgrade capability. While that would be nice, it performs great as it is. It starts fast and will play Witcher 3 at Ultra settings by just enabling max settings in the Synapse software, but when you do switch, it takes it to a different level. The 3070Ti is a beast.
The screen is perfect. There is no bleed on edges, color is spot on and gaming is great. Video quality while streaming is amazing and Movies are just as good. The photos I provided do not do justice to what you actually see.
It is also a very capable workhorse when needed for the office environment. I set mine to balanced performance and easily get 5+ hours on the battery watching videos, working or just surfing.
Setup is easy but takes a bit to understand. Once you have it, you can make the keyboard colors match your game along with the mouse. I bought a Razer Basilisk V3 X Mouse and it was easy to setup for my game profiles and will switch when you open the game along with keyboard per key colors you have configured. I run it Bluetooth and handles everything without issue.
You get what you pay for with the Blade 14 and when on sale, it is an exceptional value. The quality construction is obvious the moment you take it out of the very protective packaging within their box.

I purchased this laptop last year around Christmas, on sale. Overall it is a great laptop. The build quality is comparable to my MacBook. The screen is great. It is very portable. The speakers are also pretty good for a windows laptop.
The only cons are heat and razer software. This laptop does get hot, but I do not have any problem with performance being affected. I do not use the keyboard on the laptop while gaming, but I do think my fingers would get warm if I did. Im not a fan of the software razer offers on their laptops. It's glitchy and lacks features. Their software could be greatly improved. gaming laptop company's (like Alienware and Asus) have much better software.
On a personal note I also wish I would have opted for a bigger screen. The screen quality is great but I find it heard to see some things while using the laptop.
Overall I'm happy with my purchase. If you can get it for a good deal on sale go for it.

I wanted an everyday gaming laptop that was portable and decided to get the blade 14. I found it on sale at Best buy for $2099. This is a great do all laptop for work, gaming and everyday use. When at home I plug it into my 28 inch monitor. HDMI is 2.1 and let me tell you gaming is very good on this laptop. It stays pretty cool around 72c when gaming for long sessions. I did put a skin on it to take care of the finger print issues. Screen brightness is very good, around 350 nits but does seem much brighter to my eyes. Excellent screen for watching movies and gaming! Great colors and 165HZ refresh. If you are looking for a great portable and powerful laptop this is it. No issues with 16gb or ram as it is plenty fast. Excellent build quality and no backlight bleed! This is my 3rd razer laptop and i do have total tech for it and wanted to say I gave not had any issues with any of my razer laptops. Yes they are espensive but IMO you get what you pay for and if on sale even better!

I've had a couple different Razer laptops, all 15 inch laptops and have really liked them. But this 14 inch 3080ti is my favorite. To me it is the perfect size and the display is great. I also tried the Asus G14 before purchasing the Razer, but I ended up returning the Asus because it ran way too hot when I was playing games. The Razer runs considerably cooler and has a much more premium build. I'm not a big gamer, but for the games I play, and the work I do, this is the perfect laptop for me. I know this model has been out for a while now, but at $1200 off regular price I have no problem recommending it.

Have had it for close to a year. Top tier laptop. I’m able to play HellDivers at the highest graphics and it does just fine. Does get hot enough to cook food but never fails to impress. Screen quality is amazing.

So Far, Exceptional

I'm enjoying this unit so far. I was heavily between this and the G14, but when I saw the mercury edition appear I had to at least try the Razer first. I don't think I'll be going back on that decision. I'll try to list out what I've been liking:
- Battery life has been great; for my everyday tasks (web browsing, spreadsheets, YouTube videos) I get 5-8 hours of use. This is plenty for me, as I'm never toting this around for that long without access to charging it.
- Performance: it's been shining. I've been truly impressed with what this machine can do. I don't intend to play many titles as I have an XSX and will default to that, but I have been experimenting. Games like Outer Worlds, Valheim, Twilight Princess emulated, Skyrim, 7 Days to Die (even though it's poorly optmized) all run fantastically. The fans do not get annoyingly loud, just noticeable. For much of my gaming, I connect an HDMI to my 4K LG C2 and it run exceptionally.
- Cooling; in line with the performance, the cooling is impressive. I don't know much about temperatures for GPU/CPU, but under the heaviest loads I've done so far, the CPU hasn't gone about 85 °C and the GPU hasn't gone above 75 °C. I understand this to be pretty good, and the laptop itself hasn't gotten too hot to touch. Only the top of the keyboard below the screen has gotten noticeably warm.
- RAM cannot be upgraded, but I seriously fail to see the obsession with higher amounts of RAM. Perhaps I'm just a simpleton, but for what I want to do/play, 16GB is plenty.
- Price: I got this on sale at $2,100 which was above my initial budget and still more than I'd like to spend, but I don't think it wasn't worthwhile. Price is the only thing that would lead to a return, and I'm aware that there are other equatable options (G14) at lower price-points. However, I am very satisfied with this laptop and the build quality surpasses others. The cooling capability was the biggest detterent between this and the G14 (many reviews state how hot it can get, concerningly so)
In response to battery bloating concerns, I've learned that some cases are from poor battery management on the user side, but Razer has also extended the battery warranty to 2 years. Further, purchasing this model (being the most recent one) boosted confidence.
If you're on the fence about this, I'd wager it's because of the premium price. And that is the only reason I can see so far to be on the fence.

I use this laptop for work, school, basic software development and gaming. I love the brightness and screen resolution, as well as the tactile feel of the keyboard. The trackpad leaves a bit to be desired, especially coming from a macbook (sometimes inconsistent clicking). I dont use the incouded charger and use a 100w usb c brick, very handy as it charges to full in about 1.5 hours, and has a steady charge on gaming.

I currently have the Razer blade 14 (2022) model QHD 1440p 3070ti and this laptop did shock on how powerful it runs in such a small chasis! I also purchased the 2022 Razer blade 15 same specs but 240hz QHD and i can say i perfer the Razer blade 14 it just feels way better even thoogh the Razed blade 15 had a advantage with the intel processor but the performanse is extremely close. Downfall the Ram is soldered and CPU runs around 80-100C while gaming! But besided that this is perfect for me since i have a powerful desktop at home and just need something portable sleek and powerful on the go. Also this Laptop has a MUX switch! Works pretty good.

A major upgrade. I was trying to game on a simple laptop that was not built for gaming but didn’t want to spend the money for something better. I finally convinced myself to do it and by golly it makes a crazy difference. I’m not knowledgeable about specs but I’m telling you this is worth it!

Powerful gaming laptop in a small pacakage. The power supply is 230w, didn't know laptop had such power, but it is powering a nvidia 3070, so it makes sense. Highly recommended especially if you travel and want to play games that require that level of graphics.

Been in the market for a gaming laptop for the better part of a year. I’ve tried Omens, ROG Zephyrus, MSI Vector, Lenovo Legion Slim, and a few others. Each of those machines had some type or compromise. MSI Vector with 3070ti was a beast, but the form factor was terrible. That laptop is a behemoth with no biometrics and a power brick the size and weight of an actual brick. Enter the Razer Blade 14. Wow is this thing gorgeous. Sleek, compact, and simple. Nearly attractive as a Macbook. Powerful processor and GPU. Excellent 165hz 1440p display. Booting up and playing was a breezy ane snappy experience. Make sure to download the latest Nvidia drivers before diving in to any new games for optimization. I was able to get this laptop at $1800 with MyBestBuy Member Pricing. Couldn’t be more thrilled. Fortnite looks and runs insanely well even after the new update with enhanced lighting and reflections. This little beast chewed up God of War 2018 as well. This will be my primary go-to for gaming aside from my PS5. Recommend. Also has Windows Hello which is honestly a must-have for me. I like to turn on the machine and get started.

Absolutely incompetent computer company, what may seem like a great laptop is completely nulled but what happens if anything breaks, within 6 months of having this computer I slightly cracked the screen which made half the pixels go dead immediately, albeit up to here it was my fault, no one can work on razer computers even Best Buy denied to repair the broken screen. And razer wanted to charge a $200 diagnostic fee to send the computer to them, for a broken screen. Once I finally found a shop who could work on the laptop they had to special order a screen for the laptop because the original was no longer manufactured, throughout this razer support was no help, barely responding and not really answering any questions when they did, just dry seemed to be computer generated responses like you might get from google. The one thing razer did recommend to the repair shop was to do a bios update, which bricked the computer and racer took no responsibility for leaving me completely out of a 2000 dollar computer, from razer incompetence and complete lack of customer support.

This is a very good laptop, especially for the price. Specs are very high tier and everything works as it should. Only thing I would do is make a more efficient battery for this thing. Something that lasts longer and doesn’t heat up as much.
