Customers are positive about the Blade 14's performance, build quality, and battery life. Many praise its powerful processing capabilities and excellent screen quality. However, some customers note that the laptop can get warm under heavy workloads. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and build quality outweighs concerns about heat.

Good Performance, Bad Software

The laptop is good. The performance is what you would expect out of a 4070 mobile. I picked it because it had the highest TDP of the 4070 laptops I found. The price not on sale is a bit too high though. I got it around $1600 which I think is a little cheap for it actually. The only issue is Razer Synapse. It takes up a lot of background resources and I have had an issue where it decided to use a different lighting preset than what I set it to and I have to go in and change it.
Note: Picture is edited to block what I was viewing. The screen looks great.

This laptop is great for gaming and professional engineering softwares. The battery life is much less than the advertised 10 hours if you actually use anything on it. I recommend carrying the charger around everywhere. It’s not really lightweight but you can get used to it. This laptop also heats up very easily so get a laptop stand, go to task manager and close startups you don’t want, and screw Microsoft Teams. Besides these two main issues, this laptop is perfect for me because of its durability, high performance, and ability to handle both gaming and engineering software. I highly recommend getting this on sale if the issues I pointed out aren’t deal breakers for you.

So far I have not had any major issues, great built quality, battery last long if not gaming, the screen is amazing the only thing is that synapse is sometimes buggy and doesn't load or work properly and hate having to change the settings every now and then. 4 stars though cause it is a great laptop but the touchpad even at low sensitivity can be pressed by accident when typing and if you have gestures on, it is an extreme headache(I turned this settings off), you are always accidentally using gestures.

Love the design of the laptop, very powerful. love the ability to upgrade.
Downsides are battery life, drains way too fast when using minimally. Ontop of that, very loud, very hot, also when just browsing the web.
Razer’s support website also is not helpful at all, reinstalled windows to test something and it didn’t install the wifi driver on its own. I was lucky to have a usb wifi adapter for it to do it, but it was a huge headache trying to find support for it online, which is a dealbreaker for me. Just tells me I can’t seek help and receive it when needed.
Also the display saturation is way too strong. Attempted to calibrate it using the AMD software, the windows display calibration tool, and found no success. Not as bright as it needs to be, and just hurts with long term usage.
TLDR: Very powerful, too much battery usage, too hot

I was debating on getting the asus G14 vs blade 14. The new blade 14 2024 version, base on my research and watching different youtubers is relatively the same in terms of performance without significant upgrade. 2023 version came in with $800 discount from bestbuy.
Now i also tried the G14 in store. I would say the screen display of the G14 is much crispier given its OLED+glossy the screen wobble is something else. The blade 14's IPS panel is nice too with antiglare display which goes to 240hz rr. Blade 14 feels more premium. Less fan noise compare to g14, although g14 has a better battery life.
Overall, i went for razer as i intend to use it heavily with less concern for burn in vs the oled panel. Plus, the sale was a huge factor. I also ended up upgrading it to 32gb ram and 2tb ssd.

Performance is very good, the strange screen aspect ratio caused some problems for me in niche applications. Overall though, not a great value for the money given the competition in the marketplace.

I had purchased the ROG 14 with 4060, 16 gigs ram and 1tb memory and returned it for this because I got it for 4th of july sale for way cheap. The rog runs triple A games way smoother and somehow the graphics card perfoms better while weighing less which is way more important then 240hz refresh rate. Also the ROG 14 is 1,299 and this is 2,499. Now I have to return this to get the ROG 14 again.

This machine does it all. I have been using it to play COD6 on a 49” OLED display and it’s flawless. This is a well made laptop. I upgraded the ram to 96gb and an extra 4TB ssd to make this the best laptop I have ever owned.

I bought one that was a lemon, then I replaced it with a second, that was a lemon. It's not just Razer, but I'm sick and tired of these laptop manufacturers not having adequate quality control. I reluctantly switched to a MacBook after this experience, and am extremely pleased with my MacBook.

Expenseive, but better built than any 14” gaming laptop out there. Great screen, keyboard, and battery life. I upgraded immediately to a 2TB drive and 32GB RAM. Gaming is fast, smooth, and the fans are much quieter than my 16 gaming laptops. Way more portable than my 16. My only critique is that the power brick is still stupid huge. Mine also doesnt seem to work well with a 100W PD charger. I tried it with just regular desktop work and it kept telling me it wasnt getting enough power.
