I replaced an older 17 inch gaming laptop for this and i couldn't be happier. It's way easier to carry on trips. It's very sturdy for such a thin and light laptop. The innards are beastly! It plays every game out there buttery smooth. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

First off, it’s very fast. I have the 2080 max q and the gaming performance blows me away. I’ve been able to play Modern Warfare at max settings with a steady 120+ FPS. It runs fairly cool. It runs at 55-60 during normal tasks. Under load, I’ve seen the CPU get up to 89 which is fine. The GPU hits about 77 when gaming which is more than ok. Razer has some quality control issues and I’ve had problems with my screen going black shortly after waking it up from sleep. Razer customer support was not helpful which I why I went through Best Buy. Make sure you get a warranty if you order this! Other than that issue, I’m very pleased with the performance.

I love this laptop, it is perfect for my work as a developer.
Pros:
Compact, powerful, battery, screen color, front facing speaker are loud
Cons:
Track pad palm cancellation(accompanied w/ a large track pad), needs more ram, 7ms response time screen.
I was also getting a windows bluescreen(BSOD) out of the box, I had to update a couple of drivers and configure a couple of settings (following helpful third-party forms).
outcome: I would not recommend this to someone with poor technical skills.
I recommend buying this product through bestbuy, with bestbuys warranty program, Razer is notorious for terrible customer service.

Before buying this laptop I had heard a lot about manufacture defects making the laptop nearly unusable, but so far I've had no problems and it had preformed excellently.

The CPU runs cool during normal office task or media playback at around 60c. It gets up to around 87-93c when gaming which is perfectly fine.
The 2080 MQ GPU under full loads gets up around 77c which is ok.
The only con I have is that it was not shipped with the new service pack so you have to let it run a few updates.

Light and powerful, just wish it would come with a larger ssd and more memory. Both are upgradable later though.

I have the i7 8750H model with the same RTX 2080 and it has been treating me well and still is, I am pretty sure the 9750H will be the same but a little faster. System runs hot but I've learn that it is normal! as long as it is not blue screening of death or freezing on you, I have contacted Razer support about this and they said it is normal, also makes sense with all that power packed into something so slim and all Aluminum.
