When I purchased this laptop I was upgrading from a 2015 model Razer blade and I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. It runs smoothly and the method used to disperse heat works well as the heat is directed to areas that you don’t place your hands while gaming on the keyboard. The screen has sharp colors and I’ve never had a high refresh rate monitor Before and after using this it will be hard to go back to a normal refresh rate. Overall I love my laptop and am pleased with my purchase.

I bought this specifically for gaming but it's an amazing computer all around. Everyone know's Razer makes high quality products and if you can get past the cost then you truly do get a superior product. The great thing about buying from best buy is if the price goes down within the first month or so of your purchase then you can call them up and get refunded the difference. I saw the price drop $400 on this laptop after I bought it and they refunded me every dollar.

Runs Most games on epic settings with a stable 100-144 fps and the Windows Hello IR camera feature included in this model that is not in the model available at 2k along with the Razer Chroma customization options definitely makes this a worthy upgrade. The sleek white also adds a nice boujee look.

I bought the display laptop for like 1550. Which is a good value. However, the audio combo jack does not work. I didn’t purchase the Best Buy warranty as it came with 1 year manufacturers warranty. But I could not get ahold of Razer (maybe because of COVID) to send it in. I went back in within 15 days of my initial purchase to see about resolving it with a Best Buy warranty purchase. Long story short I didn’t buy it. It was $200 for the “1 year” warranty and then I had to pay an extra 85 to send it in. All this wouldn’t have been too bad, but they informed me (thankfully) that once I send it in it will void the warranty. So basically it’s not a warranty, it’s more of a repair price. I kept the laptop, but I have to buy Bluetooth or usb headphones. Also a side not, like I said the geek squad and the clerk, and even the salesperson were very helpful but... when I went in the second time I walked in behind a Caucasian lady about my age and we both had items for customer service. There was a bald headed white guy at the door and she walked in just fine, but he stopped me and told me to put on a mask. I didn’t mind putting a mask on but he literally let the white girl in with no mask. I didn’t make a scene because that’s not me, but I did feel like a second class citizen and singled out as I am a person of color.

The computer is fantastic. It is super fast and pretty sleek. I do wish Razer had filled the lid with more screen and less bezel, and the computer build feels a tad cheaper than I would like, but it’s great. I have to give it 4 stars because sometimes the computer has been glitchy to me.

I ended up returning this system because it had build quality issues with the keyboard upper deck, namely it appeared a drill impacted the right speaker grill. However, with that said it is an otherwise stunning system in person. It is functionally and aesthetically identical to the MacBook Pro, but vastly more powerful. However, you will pay dearly for all this power in a 15.6" frame. You can find similarly specced systems for a lot less if your willing to take a 17" chassis. Additionally, with the all-new Razer Blade coming out in May/June, there likely is no reason to purchase this unless you can get a heck of a deal. All in all, if yours has no build quality issues with the chassis exterior, you are getting a beautiful system with a lot of power.

Overall, I love this laptop. The only thing I would change is it being 4k and a bigger hard drive but it has been wonderful owning so far. It does get pretty hot but my personal pros outweigh this. Feels very premium, and extremely thin. Screen still looks great once you tweak it to your preference.

I like to run high graphics intensive games like Control and Shadow of the Tom Raider, and this laptop runs extremely well. Not only it can handle everything at max settings, it will keep the CPU temp in 85Celsius or less and the GPU in 75C or less. Great performance and great cooling overall. Not noisy. Wish the SSD was 1TB, but is very easy to replace; same as the RAM.

Havent had any issues running games off the GPU or the Screen and they look nice. It's fairly dense making it feel heavy but it's still lighter than a lot of gaming laptops. It gets warm but never too uncomfortable to hold. Only issue is I wish the SSD was bigger but at least it can be upgraded. Hoping they make a Ryzen version eventually.

I ordered this online for curbside pickup. I purchased the Geek Squad Certified model. Advertised as the 144Hz model only to get home and check the specs and it's actually the 240hz model. No problems after a month plus use. Gaming is phenomenal.

Great laptop. Beautiful screen - very bright and vibrant. It does get hot when gaming and the keyboard is not my favorite. Very short key travel makes it very hard to get used to the keyboard.

Came with a broken pixel. The lid could be more sturdy as well. Otherwise its like a Macbook Pro without a glossy screen and capable of hardcore gaming.

The system is powerful enough to do my daily work. The typing experience is not too good - the right shift key is a bit small and takes some time to get used to it.

Highly recommend. Definitely buy this "advanced" version over the "base" model since it has better battery and better cooling. It is very easy to switch the NVMe SSD with a 2Tb card. I've had this laptop for a month and I really like it. Also, this mercury edition is not a fingerprint magnet like the black version.
