This computer is great. I bought it for its upgrade capabilities and its amazing build quality. I would recommend watching a video on how to do it if you are going to do it yourself but I upgraded the ssd from 2tb to 8tb. It takes 2 4tb drives. So i put 2 samsung 990 pros in with no heatsink and it works great. You can just copy over your old hard drive to the new one with the software that comes with the hard drives because there are 2 ports on the laptop. This laptop takes ddr5 ram so i upgraded to 2 32GB chips of corsair so dimm ddr 5 ram for a total of 64 GB. i'm not sure what the limit is but this fit my needs. The screen looks really good and even though its not oled it doesnt look bad. I was really excited to get gsync on my laptop and it doesnt disappoint. No tearing for me or my screen. Overall i love this laptop. it handles call of duty with ease and world of warcraft no problem. It can play any major AAA game with ease. Also the thunderbolt and usb 3.2 port are blazing fast. i transferred a 300GB file in just seconds. Overall i think this version is the best bang for the buck when its on sale for $700 off. unfortunately right after my return window ended it went on sale to $800 off. but $700 is fine with me. im happy and i think you would be too if you wanted this laptop in the first place. the size is really perfect and fits in my laptop case nicely. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a great gaming laptop at a fair price with top quality options.

Hands down the best laptop I have ever owned. Get this thing! Build quality is excellent and the trackpad rivals that of a newer MacBook Pro 16". It has a built in webcam shutter which makes it great for work and play. Fans are totally silent on light load but of course spin up louder under full load. I would say these are the quietest gaming laptop fans I've ever heard even at high speed. The display is extremely bright and color-accurate and has absolutely zero backlight bleed - that was my main concern with not upgrading to the mini-led display. They finally added a setting to automatically switch the refresh rate to 60hz on battery and then switch back to 240hz when plugged in. Nice little quality of life update. They don't formally advertise battery life, but with the 90+Whr battery, I'm getting a little over 6hrs in web browsing and streaming. I can achieve that with 30% screen brightness and allowing Advanced Optimus to handle disabling the discreet GPU. I consider this outstanding for the CPU, GPU and display in this thing. Battery life is next to nothing when playing AAA games, but that's not surprising with modern chip TDPs. You can look up benchmarks online for the CPU and GPU, but performance is killer. They definitely did the right thing by adding a little chassis thickness to cool the components better and feed them more power. If you're on the fence between 30-series and 40-series, go 40 series. The chips are far better with power efficiency and DLSS3 is no joke. Can totally overcome the terrible AAA game optimization out there these days.

The Razerblade 16" Laptop is a great laptop, I have had mine for about 8 months and it is amazing. I got my laptop so I could do schoolwork and as well play video games. The 16" screen is a lot bigger than I expected it to be and can be a little difficult to fit in some bags. It also can get a little warm if its just on your lap and not on a table or flat hard surface. The version I chose came with a 4060 graphics card and i9 CPU so the battery life can go down pretty fast but when it comes to gaming it runs amazing and can run any game at ease. Not only does it run games amazing the sounds system for it is amazing with its THX spatial audio speakers makes watching videos, movies, and TV shows just as good as any high end TV. For the price of the laptop I think its worth it if you are going to use it for its gaming capabilities over just using it for schoolwork. This Laptop never makes me wonder if I can run a game or not because it will practically run anything.
