Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Blade Stealth 13.3" Gaming Laptop's performance, build quality, battery life, and compact size, frequently praising its power for its size and portability. However, customers are negative about the keyboard layout, with some finding it uncomfortable or unusual. The price point also received some criticism for being high. While some wish for a higher refresh rate screen, the overall feedback highlights a powerful and portable machine with a few minor drawbacks.

Upon setting this up, I immediately experienced issues with the face unlock feature, which actually froze the laptop. For the price you pay for this, you shouldn't have to deal with this at the onset of taking it home and turning it on for the first time.

Razers produce great poducts. I was loving this PC until I started having problems with screen. I really wanted to have a Razer laptop so I return for the bigger, faster 15" hoping for no screen problems.

I wanted to love this stealth but its biggest issue is something that was clearly addressed in the followup version in 2020, the limited power the cpu is getting really kills this laptop for anything other than being a ultrabook making having a gpu rendered pointless.

I purchased this as open box, excellent certified refurbished from Geek Squad, and I received a defective computer. It had a good amount of coil whine, screen flicker, and a non functional Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port. Moral of the story: don’t buy open box from Best Buy.

for a computer this price there should not be any technical difficulties right out of the box, it would give me blue screen of death every single hour which is unacceptable I ordered a new one let’s see if it has the same problem

Laptop is pretty good and nice quality but the charging cable puts a lot of stress on the C connector and doesn't last long. With poor customer service I am unable to recommend this to anyone I know.

Great ultrabook that replaced my macbook pro

Wow - Windows laptops have come a long way (or maybe just Razer, I'm unsure). The build quality, refinement, sleekness, and minimalism of this laptop is absolutely excellent. There is not a sticker on it that wasn't made to be removed - and the logo on the lid is pretty neat too. Anyway -- I started research and watched a ton of reviews on this exact model, the Razer Blade Stealth 13.3 with the GTX 1650 graphics card, 512 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, and 1080p screen, to be exact. I was certain that this model was what I wanted - despite the (really nice) employee at Best Buy trying to talk me into an MSI. I felt the MSI that was on display would be to be too bulky for my needs. I'm used to a 13" macbook pro that was highly portable, so portability was an important factor in the decision. I needed a Windows machine so that I would have access to certain applications that require Windows. Never did I think that I would actually like the design of whatever Windows-based laptop I got over the macbook pro, but I absolutely do. It's sleek...very sleek. This machine has more ports that my macbook pro did. Having the extra USB3 ports is absolutely great. The thunderbolt 3 port (on the right side of the Razer), I just plug into the same Belkin dock that worked on my macbook - and connects to my external 4k monitor. The usb-c port on the left, I use for charging (although technically the belkin dock can charge through it, I haven't look up whether or not it allows 100w through it, or if it's limited to some lower number, so I play it safe). The usb3 ports are self-explanatory. That said - I highly recommend anyone in the market for a highly portable laptop, who also wants to play some games, edit videos, use photoshop, etc - take a serious look at this laptop. Make sure the video that you watch is the late 2019 model with the gtx1650, however, and not the older mx150 dgpu model. One note on the 4k vs 1080p screen - my macbook had the retina display - which was larger than 1080p - you have to scale up the font in order to read it at anything larger than 1080p - in fact, you still have to scale the 1080p at about 125% - and I have 20/20 vision. So I recommend the 1080p display over the 4k, unless you absolutely need a touch screen for some reason. Bottom Line: An absolute beast of a machine and not loaded with any bloatware, like my experience was in the past with Windows machines. Highly recommend this product. * A side note on the value rating I chose - I gave it 5/5 on value, but when I purchased it, it was on sale for $300 off (brand new) - otherwise, it would have been a 4/5 at regular price. I still would have bought it though.

Treated me very well for a few years, plays most games with medium or higher graphic settings, very light and easy to travel with. Only having my first battery issue almost 4 yrs later would tecommend.

I'm absolutely blown away by this machine. After being disappointed by the ROG I decided to slim down and get a smaller machine with better build. Boy am I happy I did. This thing is a tiny beast and feels SO good to type on. Will be playing games later to test it out but so far 10/10.

    Perfect for portability and power!

I got this predominantly for work and use it mostly for Sibelius and other music tools. The small form factor and the quiet-running fans work wonders because I'm able to take it out and do edits on the fly. I haven't tested it with any gaming yet, but it's more than filled the needs that I purchased it for!

Great laptop and performs well but check apps

I have had two of these laptops, unfortunately the first had software issues with some of the Razer apps so I returned and got the same model. My new model works great and runs popular games like overwatch with no issues. I would recommend this but make sure all of your Razer applications are functional.

This is the 2nd Razer Stealth GTX 1650 I purchased in the last month and had to return it. The laptop itself is nice and feels great. The build however is subpar for Razer. After returning the first one, I didn't think it would have similar issues right out of the box. I love the concept, but it looks like Razer needs to get back to the drawing board on this gaming ultra-book they advertise it as and fix these little nuances.
