Whether this mouse is perfect for you depends on how you like it’s fit and feel. The specs of the mouse are top notch and it’s so light it nearly moves itself. Pros: - Light Weight as in feather weight - Super fast responsiveness with 30k Optical sensor and 8k polling - Optical switches that are optimally placed for easy access - Unique shape and tilt – depends on personal preference - Hypershift allows you to assign two functions to each button Cons: - Unique shape and fit – depends on personal preference - Scroll wheel sits higher than other mice - The preconfigured DPI switch is on the bottom - Not grippy surface – mouse is entirely smooth with no grip surface or pads - No RGB lighting This mouse isn’t bigger than other gaming mice that I use but because of its unique shape it feels fuller in my hand. On initial grip the mouse feels good but the longer I use it the more unnatural it feels. The mouse is lower on the right and higher on the left so the top leans towards the right which then places the tips of my last two fingers near or on the mouse pad. Depending on the size and depth of your hand this may or may not be an issue for you. Also the mouse is totally smooth so there aren’t any rubberized pads or a thumb indent to help with the grip. After long or intense gaming sessions I find the smooth finish less appealing and wish Razer would have included some grip pads for those who wanted to add them. The mouse is extremely light and moves smoothly across my mouse pad with little effort. The side buttons are perfectly placed but the scroll wheel sits a tad higher than most which may bother some gamers. The responsiveness of the mouse is great due to the high dpi rate and the polling options which are available via the Razer Synapse software. In the Synapse app you can configure the mouse buttons and functions, set the performance using the dpi and polling rates and calibrate the mouse. Note that the DPI switch is on the bottom of the mouse and its not easy to access which means no quick changes during gaming sessions unless you reconfigure an existing button to perform this function.

A fast mouse but no lights

Razer’s Deathadder V3 is one of Razer’s latest gaming mouse. It’s primary selling point is that it is extremely light at 59G wherein you can barely feel it’s there. Add to it it’s superset nylon cord which Razer touts as a Speedflex cable and new ergonomic design, one can almost say you are not using a mouse at all. It also boasts of a gen 3 optical mouse switch making the use of the mouse quite a pleasure. Upon plugging the mouse to your PC, it’s software automatically installs itself. But one thing to note is that there are no RGB lights in this mouse. And if this is your only Razer device in your gaming rig, the app will definitely be a waste of space since the app occupies roughly 500mb of space. And if you install all options, total space to be consumed is around 1GB. And like all gaming mice, buttons can be assigned. And while the lack of RBG lights may not be enticing to all, I still find this mouse very useful. The speed of the mouse is essentially helpful since our monitors are 32 inches wide. In other words, this mouse functions as a great general use mouse. I would recommend it to others in spite of the lack of lights. But then again, some people may also want the lack of lights to be a plus. So because of that I am removing one star for thievery fast mouse since it can be really hard to call a mouse a gaming one without lights.

After Roccat pure owleye mouse stopped working, I went through maybe 18 or 19 different mice from several different companies, from zowie to pulsar to end game gear to glorious and anything and everything in between, but nothing quite fit the bill like this one, this one has the perfect weight, the perfect coating, the switches feel great, it's quick and responsive and as a high polling rate to reduce delay, and it's inexpensive, I think when it was on sale, which happens often, I think I paid maybe 30 something for mine originally and I have bought three more when they went on sale again since then, if any of them were to stop working for any reason, and I had to find a replacement mouse, 100% this is the one I would pick, either this or one of the other deathadder V3 models, I'm old school and prefer wires but intend to try out a wireless one at some point, the original death adder shape was phenomenal and was one of the most comfortable and one of the best shapes since the mouse originally came out I think in 2006, and it remained the same for the V2 as well, but with the V3 they have perfected it, I can play for hours on end with this mouse and never feel any fatigue or cramps in my hand from having to hold it for long periods of time, the coating is great because it feels like the mouse is almost magnetized to your hand so you don't have to squeeze it as hard to pick it up, or move it I don't know what the regular price of it is at the moment, it would probably be around 50 or $60 I would guess but it's a great mouse even at that price, if you can get it on sale it's an absolute steal, if you are old school and you prefer wires or if you don't mind the wire then you really would be hard pressed to do better than this mouse at the price point.

SMOOTH COATING! Lighter than the V3 Pro and 8k

I've been rocking the wireless version of the Razer DeathAdder V3 (pro), like, non-stop for the past six months. Trust me, I know this mouse inside out. Now, Razer went ahead and dropped the wired version of the DeathAdder V3, and I just had to get my hands on it. Let me tell you all about the changes and why this mouse is an absolute beast for gamers like us. First things first, let's talk about how this baby feels in your hand. Razer has taken things up a notch with the DeathAdder V3's coating. They've made it a lot smoother than before, as in smooth smooth no more texture. You see, the last five or six mice Razer released had this textured coating, but this new one is something else. It's like holding pure gaming magic. The moment I gripped it, I knew it was “better” enough to go back to wired even though I hate wired. Now, you might be wondering what sets the wired DeathAdder V3 apart from its wireless sibling. Well, the biggest difference is the polling rate. The wired version boasts an insane 8,000Hz polling rate, while the wireless V3 Pro can only hit 4,000Hz with a separate dongle you have to buy. This increased polling rate is supposed to give you that extra edge in the heat of battle. I'll be honest, though, I couldn't really tell a significant difference. It could be because my monitor's refresh rate isn't high enough to fully feel the change. But hey, it's still a cool feature to have, especially if you've got a killer gaming setup. Let's talk about the price tag, my friend. The wired DeathAdder V3 is significantly cheaper than its wireless counterpart. It's a win-win situation. You get all the awesomeness of the DeathAdder V3, an even LIGHTER mouse, plus you save some cash. And trust me, the cable on this bad boy is flexible as heck. No annoying drag or resistance while you're in the zone. Razer knows what's up when it comes to providing a seamless gaming experience. Now, let's dive into the nitty-gritty of this mouse. The DeathAdder V3 weighs in at just 59g, making it one of the lightest ergonomic esports mice out there. The difference is actually noticeable between this and the wireless pro for sure. Like the pro version it's like the mouse becomes an extension of your hand, allowing for lightning-fast movements and precise control. It's a dream come true for gamers like us who crave that competitive edge. But it's not just about the weight. Razer has also fine-tuned the ergonomic form of the DeathAdder V3 if your coming from one of the older models it is not the same shape be aware of that it is very similar but slightly different (watch the video on razer product section). They've collaborated with top esports professionals to ensure this mouse feels like a natural fit. And let me tell you, they've nailed it. It's like the mouse was custom-made for my hand. Hours of gaming? No problem at all. The DeathAdder V3 keeps me comfortable and focused, no matter how intense the session gets. Let's talk about precision and performance. Razer equipped the DeathAdder V3 with their brand-new Focus+ 30K Optical Sensor, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. This sensor delivers flawless tracking performance on a wide variety of surfaces, including glass. This of course has the gen 3 optical switches and they feel great as ever. They've bumped up the click lifespan to 90 million, and the actuation time is a blazing-fast 0.2ms. No more double-clicking issues, my friend. That said sorry for this being so long I had to share all my thoughts and let you know just why It might be worth going back to a wired mouse if you were on a wireless bandwagon like me for years.

    No-nonsense, bang-for-the-buck gaming performance!

Quick Overview ================================= If you're looking for the most performance you can get without breaking the bank, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Ultra-lightweight wired mouse might be one of your best options. Sure, there's no fancy RGB lighting, but the performance is what counts. Overall build ================================= If you've seen previous generations of the DeathAdder, there aren't many surprises just tweaks. The outer shell is a smooth matte finish without any glossy parts like the Logitech G502. This V3 is super light at just 59 grams and glides easily thanks to Razer's SpeedFlex cable. There are no lighting options since this mouse is all about functionality. The mouse buttons (L, R, sides) are all clicky as you'd expect, and on the underside there's a DPI button with a nice light. Arguably, it'd be nicer if it was up top, but you can still control everything via Razer's Synapse software. Performance ================================= If you're choosing a wired mouse over wireless ones, you're typically doing it for cost, performance, or both. A wired mouse will never leave you high and dry since it doesn't need batteries and it can technically support higher polling rates since it can pass data nearly lag-free compared to wireless technologies (2.4 ghz or Bluetooth). Razer says this wired one supports a polling rate of 8000hz while the wireless one (v3 Pro) can only poll at 1000/4000hz (with/without Hyperspeed USB dongle). Say what you want about Razer's Synapse software, but on most recent PCs it won't drag you down and gives you a wealth of customization options including polling rate, customizing controls, lift-off distance, and more. Serious gamers will spend time in here to perfect their setup. I'm no pro, but I do prefer higher DPI/sensitivity overall and I don't worry too much about customizing buttons if it's not an RPG that requires a ton of inputs. If you're looking for a mouse to support that, you might want to look at other options with more buttons even though Razer does support HyperShift which gives you additional customization options. As a fast-twitch gaming mouse, I'm not sure if you could ask for more. The light weight is perfect and the SpeedFlex cable is seriously one of the best. Compared to my Logitech G502 (which I love), the cable is "barely there" and helps make this feel as effortless to move as a wireless mouse. Seriously the cable is great! The smooth PTFE pads underneath really help the mouse move smoothly on a desktop or dedicated mouse pad. I don't think my G502 is heavy by any means, but the DeathAdder V3 is super-light and easy to whip around in fast action games or the battle royale of your choice. FYI - there's no tilt on the mouse wheel. This is a standard clicky scroll wheel with textured rubber for grip. Conclusion ================================= Sometimes, performance trumps all else and I could see why serious gamers would choose this mouse. It doesn't light up and it's wired... deal breakers for a lot of people! However, this is one of the best wired mice I've ever used. The SpeedFlex cable is so light, it's like using a wireless mouse! The lack of extra buttons can be a good thing if you're playing a focused game where extra buttons would just get in the way. Lastly, the ultra-lightweight design means that whipping this thing around for hours on end is no problem. I would recommend this mouse for serious gamers that prefer performance and substance over style.

    Incredibly Light, Great Switches/Scroll Wheel

The Razer DeathAdder V3 is incredibly light. At 59g it's probably the lightest mouse I have ever used and compared to my wireless mice, it feels like a feather. I have to confess I have a bias for wireless mice (clean desktops) but a week of gaming with the DeatherAdder I have a new appreciation for the speed and precision of wired mice. First off, Razer have given the mouse a long, very long braided cable. It doesn't twist, snag, or tangle on the desktop. It also moves smoothly - so on Fortnite and playing Spider-Man PC, I didn't feel disadvantage by a wired mouse. The DPI sensitivity is amazing, you can go up to 30,000 which is far beyond what I would ever need.Buttons are super responsive. Razer use optical switches, that have a firm click but are fast and responsive. You get 4 buttons in total (not including scroll) and these can be mapped and macro'd using the Synapse software. I think the Razer Synapse software is the best and cleanest in the business. I love the scroll wheel, it has a clear notch click when you scroll and the ribbed wheel is easy to grip in game play. If you're looking for RGB effects, the DeathAdder is not for you - this mouse looks like a standard mouse (aside from a faint black on black Razer logo). I don't mind it doesn't have RGB, it's not something I want on a mouse because your hand always covers the RGB anyway. The only (minor) complaint is that the DPI button is located under the mouse. While you can adjust it in the Synapse Software, I just wish Razer and others would put DPI controls on the top so that it's easier to change on fly in a game. You can customize in the Synapse app what each DPI press gets you, so you're not locked at geometric progression and Razer color code it so you an map - like I did, red to you default 1200 DPI and also limit the stages (I limit to 2) but I just wish the button didn't require a mouse flip.

Wow! This is the lightest mouse I've ever used in my life. I was shocked the first time I used it, its amazing at just 59g. Most lightweight mouses use a honeycomb/holes design to shave weight. I hated those because all the dust and stuff that can get inside. Not with this guy. It's so light and its fully covered. The material almost feels like a velvety plastic, it does add a nice grip on it and it's very comfy. The mouse is mostly for right handed people, as it has an ergo tilt to the right, almost like a gradient, making it super comfy. Razer has made this mouse for pure performance. There is no RGB on it (I guess to save weight). The only color LED is on the bottom of the mouse, right by the DPI switch (to change your DPI on the fly) and the LED color changes accordingly to your DPI preset, nice touch! The cable is super nice and almost like fabric like, I had no problem routing the cable around my desk and is very long. Once you plug it you can use it straight up, however if you want to fully customize your buttons, DPI, sensitivity etc, its highly recommend to install their Synapse 3 software (check my pics). I must say, Razer has improved in this area, the app looks nice and I did a thorough check up to see if it was eating lots of resources, and I'm glad to report that its not, it's very lightweight and does not up much CPU cycles nor RAM. I left it installed. However the mouse has onboard storage for up to 5 profiles, so if you want you can customize them as you want, then save them on your mouse and you can either take the mouse to tournaments or uninstall the software and your profiles will be there in the mouse itself. I love they are not skimping on their sensor and switches either. It has their amazing 30k optical sensor (seen on their top of line mouses) and also their optical switches on the two main buttons too, meaning response is lightning quick and they will last you for a long time, frag away! If you want a super lightweight mouse, focused on all performance without any distracting RGB, this is the one! TLDR: PROS: +Razer's 30k optical sensor +Optical switches on main buttons +Super light weight and no holes or open design where dust and debris can get inside +Up to 8000 Hz polling rate +Fully customizable via Synapse 3 +5 onboard profiles memory +No distracting RGB +Onboard dpi change button at the bottom of the mouse. CONS: -Only for right handed people (I guess lefties can use it, but won't be as comfy).

The Razer DeathAdder gaming mouse is a line of gaming hardware whose hardware names are inspired by the venomous snakes and other creatures in the living world. Razer has been around in the gaming accessories business for a very long time, and they make quality products that last. I love that the retail box that this mouse comes in is both eco-friendly and smart packaging. The wired mouse is made of quality black plastic and weighs about 60 grams. The wire is thin, flexible, woven with fabric, and does not add much weight to the mouse. The overall mouse weight is lighter than other gaming mice in this category. The buttons are light and clicky, but not too clicky. The right-hand configured mouse has forward and back buttons on the right thumb for quick web page browsing. After a week of using this mouse, it's hard to go back to my regular gaming mouse. This is SO light, and while I was afraid the weight would affect gaming performance, it seems not to have that effect; if anything, the fatigue of fast-action FPS games goes away with a lighter mouse. The accuracy of an FPS game is adjustable, and the mouse supports five levels of sensitivity - with a default of 1600 dpi is plenty for everyday use. In my experience, the mouse was a delight to play some fast-action games. I played around with the Razer Synapse 3 software which allows the user to set preferences for all Razer products, and in the case of the mouse, allow for storing macros and shortcuts in the mouse for quicker access. The software is not necessary to use the mouse, but it brings some advanced features, including connection with other light automation and chroma RGB automation, to your gaming experience. If you are using the Chroma RGB on your desktop or other gaming accessories, the Synapse 3 is a must-have. Overall feel of the mouse is excellent and well worth it if you are looking for a quality gaming mouse with no frills. The basic black mouse has only one LED to identify the various DPI modes, and that is about it. It's quite stealthy for a gaming mouse

Razer is well known in the gaming industry so I was curious to give one of their mouse devices a try. Upon receipt, your presented with classic Razer presentation. A nice box, cloth like storage bag, nice paper work and even a quality USB cover. As for the mouse itself, it is very basic in the best way. For Esports and precise gaming you want to eliminate a lot of the extras and focus on ergonomics, weight, response time and especially a lightweight cord that doesn't drag your mouse so there is as little resistance as possible when darting your mouse hand around. The Razer DeathAdder does manage to check most of those boxes. The mouse itself is very spartan in design. It almost reminds me of an old school PS/2 mouse at first glance. It has left, right and center scroll along with two auxiliary thumb buttons.I think it might be the lightest mouse I've ever used. My current EVGA X15 feels like a monstrosity next to it both in size and weight. It has a look and feel similar to my Logitech G403. When you first plug in your mouse, depending on configuration, you will be prompted to install the Razer Synapse software suite. I tried the mouse with and with out it and I found no real differences for my gaming that warranted a 480MB+ install for use. There is zero RGB on this mouse. It has a jet black, stealth look to it I like. I tried it playing both Fallout 76 and World of Warcraft (my go to games) and it is definitely a competent gaming mouse. Responsiveness is very nice and the light weight makes flicking about the screen effortless. Scroll functions work as intended and mapping the thumb buttons for looting and inventory was quick and easy. If I had one negative thing it would be the texture of the mouse. For such a light weight device, I would have liked just a bit of granular texture on the mouse at least on the sides when lifting and moving. It does feel a bit too slick especially when repositioning. Another are the skates on the bottom. There were no extras included for replacing when the current ones start to wear or grip over time. So when all is said and done will I replacing my primary desktop gaming mouse? No, but due to its light weight and portability I will be making it my primary gaming laptop mouse.

I’ve been gaming with this mouse for the last week or so, and I really like it. I thought it was a little too “light” initially but the longer I sat there and played with it on my table top, the more comfortable it felt in my hand. It glides on my table nice and smoothly without a mouse pad. That is perhaps my favorite thing about it. I game with a laptop, usually on my dining table. So the less accessories I have to carry with me, the better. I have had absolutely no issues playing my FPS shooters with this mouse on a table top. It is still quick and accurate enough for me. It is pretty basic and only had a few clickable buttons. It has the typical left and right click. The side “up and down” clicks and the scroll wheel which also clicks. You can customize what you want each button to do with the included software that will install when you first plug into your windows computer. You can change the “dpi” also with the software or the click of a button that is located underneath. I opted to use the default speed since it is fast enough for me and I can still aim and point accurately with it. The braided cable feels pretty premium, and it includes a small carrying bag for it. The mouse itself feels well built even though it is made of very lightweight material. I don’t think I’ll be breaking it anytime soon. All in all, I can recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a fairly compact, lightweight and comfortable / ergonomic gaming mouse. There is no fancy RGB lighting on it, but I am totally fine with that. I really like the sleek matte / modern design of this mouse. It compliments my laptop / workspace area nicely and is excellent for gaming.

I’ve owned a number of gaming mouses and each have their pros and cons while often offering similar performance and control. I’ve used a previous version of this mouse, and while this one performs equally as well, I can’t say I’ve noticed any significant changes during gameplay. I mostly play RPGs and MOBAs, with the occasional shooter, and have noticed consistent tracking and responsiveness throughout. The only drawback I’ll report is the mouse is very smooth and has a smooth curve, which means when I first pickup the mouse, it’s a little slippery. Once the heat from my hand warms up the mouse, it’s becomes much more grippy, and I don’t have any noticeable issues during use. The last 2 gaming mice I’ve used had either a built in grip surface, or had grip tape included for the smoother mouse. I never realized the significance until making the switch between smooth and grippy mice. The only other minor gripe is where the DPI switch is located. It’s underneath the mouse? So in order to change the dpi, you have to flip the mouse over. It’s not a big deal, but I prefer a mouse where I can change the dpi mid game if needed, or have easier access when switching games. Overall though, this mouse boasts great performance at a reasonable price point. If you’re looking for lightweight plus performance, this is a great buy.

Needed this to go back to high DPI for FPS, this served the purpose. Much better build quality than my old mamba, far better tracking than my zowie. The 8khz polling is great and the DPI ceiling is higher than you'll ever need for 4k. I love the new design. The buttons with separate pieces make clicking further back on them much easier, the pressure to click the mouse is more consistent across the whole button. The only issue I have is that fine motions are difficult on a cloth mousepad, I had to switch to a hard plastic one. This is only really a problem over 8000dpi.

RAZER DEATHADDER V3 ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT ERGONOMIC ESPORTS MOUSE - BLACK MODEL:RZ01-04640100-R3U1 I PREFER THIS WIRED GAMING MOUSE OVER WIRELESS The RAZER DEATHADDER V3 is good value for a high-end gaming mouse. The Razer is certainly worth a consideration if you are after value and performance. Personally, I prefer a wired mouse like this, so I don’t have to worry about specialized drivers, lag time from wireless, and worse of all wondering if I remembered to charge the mouse before I started gaming. Wired always works and is one less thing to worry about. The specs for the mouse boast 8000 Hz polling rate. Though to be honest, I can’t tell the difference performance between this and the wireless version. (I’m not a pro level gamer, by any measurement). The mouse is lightweight and performs well. I have no complaints, it works great. SUMMARY The RAZER DEATHADDER V3 is a great every-day gaming mouse. It performs well and is lightweight. I recommend it for overall value and performance.

I've been using Razer products since the release of the Razer Boomslang. Not every device has been great, but this mouse is an exception. It's light weight, feels great under your hand, and the button placement is about as perfect as it can get. It's also priced better than many other Razer products. On one hand, I would like if it offered a few more features, such as a dpi switch button on the top of the mouse, or resistance setting for the scroll wheel, but on the other hand, I think its simplicity is part of what makes it such a great and reliable mouse.

I purchased the DeathAdder v3 originally to test out 4K and 8k polling rates to see if ordering the 4K wireless dongle for my v3 pro was worth it and upgrade my work computers mouse. Already having the wireless version I knew I like the shape and weight. It’s great for palm and claw grip and depending on your fingertip grip style and hand size it works for that too (my preferred grip style) though most fingertip grip users will not like the shape. I mainly play FPS games and do enjoy playing aim trainers so I tend to notice some of the more subtle performance differences between mice. Both 4K and 8k polling rates do provide an improvement over the standard 1k hz polling most people probably won’t even notice the difference. One unexpected thing I actually really liked about the mouse is it’s a different coating than the wireless version and I felt it has more grip to it. I actually decided to switch to this as my main mouse I like the grip that much. Pro’s: Lightweight Good shape Up to 8k hz polling Coating Con’s: Cable isn’t the best quality and can vent pretty easily and kinked. TLDR: Excellent mouse as long as you don’t mind a wired connection.

This mouse has been night and day different when gaming with a Logitech G502 Hero. A few differences are the DeathAdder is extremely lightweight but sturdy. The ergonomics are very comfortable for my large palms. It's also way more responsive, which is great for FPS games. My only negative feedback is that the software that allows you to customize buttons, pull rates, and DPI has issues recognizing the mouse when I boot up the computer. This causes your profiles to disappear, so I've had to redownload it a few times, though this only takes a few minutes. I highly recommend this as a starting gaming mouse for anyone looking to get into PC gaming. It's also great for anyone who's been gaming for a while, like me and is looking for a change. Great quality and fair price.

It's a fantastic mouse. I love how lightweight it is, ergonomic, one of the best polling rates in all of gaming mice, no battery necessary, neat light cable. I've got no complaints! If you're in the market for a nice gaming mouse, I'd go with this.

The mouse overall is a good quality mouse if you ever used the Razer Deathadder essential then you would love the feel for the mouse but the difference is the mouse sensor detection if you lift the mouse up even a little bit it wouldn’t pick up the movement but you can turn the detection up higher through the razer application

Immediate impression was its weight. It’s one of the lighter mouse on the market weighing 59g. This is the same weight as the WIRELESS alternative, Razer Viper V2 Pro. I opted for wired because it’s more reliable, less wireless interference, doesnt require charging, and its cheaper. On sale it is $50. The Viper V2 Pro is at least twice the price. There is also the wireless version of the Adder but it is thrice the cost of this wired mouse. The shape is very ergonomic for bigger hands, the clicks and scrolls are tactile and satisfying. The speed/accuracy is great. I highly recommend this mouse.
