One of the better keyboards out there

One of the better keyboards I've used. I'm generally not a fan of wrist rests, but the one that came with this keyboard feels so high quality it's hard not to use it. The switches do take a little bit of getting used to, but overall they are very nicely put together and very sensitive. Makes for very quick typing and ease of use when gaming.

Great build quality, long switch lifespan, and RGB galore. I highly recommend the Linear switches. If you're on the fence about buying the PBT keycaps, don't. The powder coating wears off on them after no more than a month of use. After that wears off, they're no better than the keycaps that were on the keyboard to begin with.

The actuation distance is very short in these such that the weight of my fingers resting in the keys can press them. I would recommend trying them out in store first to make sure its what you want. Other than that the keyboard is perfect. Aesthetically pleasing. Great build quality. Media keys are a nice touch.

Ok, the keyboard was very nice but I find the Razer software horrendous. I have had Logitech G Hub and the CUE system from Corsair and I could not make hide nor hair of the Razer system. Very frustrating. That said if you are already plugged in to the Razer eco system you should not have any doubts about this keyboard.

I like this compare to the tactile switches. Silent, fast, and smooth. There are multiple edition the Huntsman so be sure to know which type of switch you like. The clicky switches are fun for a minute. Personally, I don't mind them but my wife prefers me to type as silent as possible. This keyboard solves that problem.

This keyboard is really good, the reaction time is crazy, and the lights are so amazing. The only con I’ll say about this keyboard is that it’s really sensitive, So if you barely touch a key it’ll automatically be sent to your screen. I only recommend this keyboard if you’re already use to keyboard. Don’t get if you’re a beginner.

Wrist pad is super comfy, the LED's complement my system very nicely. I really like the feel of the keys, They are soft and silky when normal typing. I can't tell if it's improved my gameplay (I'm not good, LOL) but the keyboard says put due to its weight. The Razer suite gives a ton of customization of LED's so you can set it up however you like. Is it worth $200? Maybe, maybe not. The pricing is competitive for this type of keyboard so if this is what your looking for I think you'll be happy with the purchase. I have no regrets and would purchase this again without hesitation. Really like the feel of the keys and it's not that "clicky".

I have been using a sub par keyboard for years and was just tired of the lag and repeated disconnects. That was until I purchased The Razer Huntsman. This has got to be the best keyboard I have ever used. I use it daily for video editing and general computer work without one hiccup.

Before buying this keyboard, I knew it's not for text typing, and I can confirm it. You must be extremely precise to be able not to type something twice. As for playing games - it works perfectly. Two things I have a concern - is software and backlights. The software doesn't work without Razer online account. You must be online and have a Razer account in order to make it work. That's sucks.

Great keyboard, has good solid sensitive keys which is nice, software to change the color and what not is a little confusing and all over but I got it all figured out. I do really like the wrists rest and how the keyboard feels to the touch. Great keyboard. Would recommend this to others.

I've never spent large amounts of money on computers accessories but this time I'm glad I did. The keyboard is well built and the key strokes are smooth/responsive. Backlight is awesome and rest is comfortable. I do light gaming and this maybe overkill but I'm never gonna cheap out on accessories again.

Razer Huntsman Elite Gaming Keyboard Review

It arrived in good condition and worked as described/intended, overall, pretty good. It is my main keyboard at the moment but there were really only a few problems. Since the actuation force and travel distance is less than my old keyboard, I would accidently actuate a key, but over time I got used to it. On the aluminum rim of the wrist rest part of it lost its paint or slightly chipped but that doesn't really change anything, so I am fine with it and it was my fault. Also, the area on the writs rest where I normally keep my hand on is less firm than the other parts of the writs wrest which makes sense. To be perfectly honest there are more value keyboards, but I did buy it when it was on sale and I like Razer products. Keep in mind this review is being written after about 3 months of using the keyboard.

It’s a awesome keyboard way faster then the one I had. The RGB lighting is out of this world. If you have the money for it I’d say go for it. Plus you get the Razer Viper with it now so 79 dollar mouse for free. Which was awesome because I wanted both.

Love the keyboard and the features I am getting us to the hyper sensitive reaction time of the keys. Coming from an Apple flat keyboard this is a welcome upgrade. the bonus is the wrist rest this is a help since i am on my machine most of my work day.

I was really surprised at how quiet the keys are compared to my Razer Blackwidow with the green switches. These new switches take very little effort to actuate and it's taking a some getting used to, but overall I am very happy with this keyboard.
