tons of custom options with the rgb with plenty of patterns and colors, great feel to the body and key caps. bought this just because i needed a keyboard the same day if not i would of went with ducky's

Amazing keyboard, the quality is top notch! My only complaint is the ability to move the cord to the right or left of the keyboard like in the Black Widow version. It appears the software must be install and run on your machine to use your own profile lighting settings.

This keyboard is awesome however be ready to miss click a lot when you start out. If you breath heavily you will trigger keys. But overall after you get used to it the keyboard is awesome!

I was nervous about purchasing a non-clicky & tactile keyboard, but I was wrong. The feel of the keys are smooth and quick to respond. The audible "click" you hear is a satisfying, but not loud and potentially reminiscent of a gatling gun like you would experience with the green switches. Overall, the general experience from gaming to typing to coding has been really enjoyable. If torn about the two options for the switches, I recommend this one. The sound produced is most similar to the yellow key switch used in the Black Widow keyboards.

This was a gift for gaming child. The options are really cool. Great quality of product. A little difficult to set up led coordination but fun.

My son wanted this keyboard for a longtime. It is a bit pricy but we got it for him as an early Christmas present. He Loves it! He spent hours trying different color combinations and had to keep showing them to me. Lol. Happy 17 year old boy!! He loves it. Loves the clicking sound the keys make.

This is the best keyboard that I've ever owned. I'm actually using it right now to type this review. The only thing that I've done is to purchase the Razer PBT keycaps. The plastic/ABS ones that come with this keyboard feel really cheap. Investing an additional thirty bucks on some better keycaps makes a world of difference. Actually at this price Razer SHOULD be including PBT keycaps. I don't know why they aren't - especially since they do on some of the TE versions of this board.

The plastic base makes it slightly warped up in the middle, it doesn't touch the table. It has a non standard bottom row, making it incompatible with some keycaps. The aluminum top is knife thin and there only to be listed as a feature. It doesn't have a removable cable or USB pass thru. More importantly the actuation distance is so little, that just brushing a key will trigger a key press. The V2 addresses most of these issues except maybe the top plate. If you are looking at this keyboard, get the V2.

This is the elite version with red linear optical switches. The Huntsman Elite is actually the cheap version but it comes with a number pad, wrist wrest, and ABS keycaps instead of PBT. Doesn't make any sense why all the nice upgrades are on the huntsman mini. The mini has sound dampening and better build quality as well as PBT key caps. For the price the mini is a way better deal. The only reason why I am keeping it instead of the mini is because I need a number pad for work and the wrist pad is pretty comfortable. If you compare the two models, the mini is quieter, has more resistance, and a much better typing experience.

Good keyboard. Switches and feel seems really nice, but it requires 2 USB ports to power the keyboard and wristrest. It doesn't have a USB passthrough so if you're short on ports watch out.

I've had this keyboard for almost a year now and it's still like brand new. The keys are very sensitive, so it's great when gaming competitively. The best thing I love about this is that it's Chroma sync as well as the vol. dial on the upper right corner that makes it easier to adjust my vol. rather than ult + tabbing to get to the sound or using my headset. The dial button makes it much easier for me when I am gaming.

I am starting into the gaming business and this keyboard creates a great ambiance when playing rapid games such as Doom. With the Chroma effect, the keyboard and other Razer products respond to the game interface. So if you are looking for a great gaming keyboard, the Huntsman Elite Wired Gaming Razer Linear Optical Switch Keyboard with RGB Back Lighting - Black is your best bet. It is a little pricy, but if you can afford it you will not regret it.
