The keys on this keyboard are nice and tight. Not alot of. Noise either. I would recommend it to any person.

This keyboard has been great so far, the laser triggers in the keys are very responsive and fast. Do far only complaint is with the software Wich gives you several different app choices for controlling you rgb lighting. They need to streamline this so one app in Razer synapse controls everything. Also when you set the lighting to "wave" the lights don't transition across keys smoothly instead they blink across different zones on the keys. It is a little jarring from what I am used to from other keyboards.

The media buttons are nice and I like the volume wheel. The keys have good action, but in my opinion they are TOO sensitive. The other issue I have with the keys is that Razer decided to only light up PART of the key. For example, the number row only has the numbers lit up and not the "shift-accessible" characters (i.e. "1" is lit, but "!" is NOT lit). Seems lame to me. The other weird thing about this is that the vertical order of the characters is reversed compared to traditional keyboards. For example, the numbers are on the top while the shift-accessible characters are on the bottom. My guess is that their LED backlight routes to the upper half of the key, so Razer decided to only light that area of the key and decided to put all non-shift-accessible characters on the upper half of the key (the letters are on the upper half of the key too). So, in my opinion, I'd prefer a traditional keyboard layout and whole-key backlighting so that letters can be in the middle. Other things I noticed about this keyboard is that there is no caps-lock light ON the "caps" key. Instead, it is one of the dots above the arrow keys (guess which one, because it isn't labeled--trial and error required). Another is that there is no "=" key in the number pad. Maybe that has always been true for Windows/PC keyboards and the Mac is unique, but seems stupid to me not to have it (creates extra hand movement for spreadsheet usage). Yes, I realize this is a gaming keyboard, but it wouldn't be hard to improve it. One last gripe. The palm rest is nice if your palm is completely on the pad, but there is quite a bit of plastic around the pad so your WRIST inevitably rests/rubs on the plastic. It would have been nice if the pad wrapped over the edge. Something that would be nice is if the keyboard had a USB port built in so the mouse could route through the keyboard since this keyboard already requires two USB ports.

Love the clicky keys! They are very responsive and the RGB is amazing :)

Pretty sweet keyboard. Wrist rest is nice. Doesn’t take much pressure to enter a key.

This keyboard is perfect. The cherry red caps are the perfect amount of sounds when clicking.

The Huntsman Elite is a awsome keyboard, If your a serious at gaming this is the one to get!

I got the Huntsman Elite with the Optical Linear keys. It took me a few days to get use to the keys because they are super sensitive, but that’s a good thing because these keys are fast, I mean lightning fast. Still at $199 I wouldn’t pull the trigger to purchase, but at the $159 sale price I didn’t hesitate to buy it.

Overall really nice and sleek keyboard with nice feelings to the switches! It's actually fun to type on a keyboard! lol Two things that I wish this keyboard to improve on is the strength of the magnetic wrist rest and making the wrist rest little bit taller to cover more of my wrist. It hurts my wrist using it for long period of time where it's not covered my the plush cushion.

I have a razer black widow ultimate mechanical keyboard that I like. I replaced that with the Huntsman elite and I could not be happier. The optical switches are fast and responsive. Furthermore, I got the less noisy switches and I truly love the keyboard, I would love to have multiples of this keyboard for play and work. The wrist rest is also a huge plus.

Wrist rest sucks but keyboard is great. Analog 2 has better wrist rest but not worth 100 dollars
