for me experience i recommend but i prefer wireless

Extremely overpriced for mediocre performance. The wristband added is extremely cheaply made and gimmicky as well.

Returned this keyboard within three days. On day one it was already squeaking while I typed, but thought maybe it just needed to "warm up". The squeaking got worse so I returned it. I owned the V1 Huntsman and gave it away, so I thought I'd like the V2. I also have a few variations of the Black Widow that never gave me trouble. This specific one was terrible. I'd like to think it was just defective, but it felt cheaper and more like plastic than I remember any of the other ones ever being. If it turns out mine was just defective, the price is fair for a functional optical keyboard - if they all squeak its a big waste of money and you should spend $20-30 more for a corsair or logitech optical keeb.

Awful to game on and type on. I'm a big razer fan but this disappointed to no end.

High quality with great mechanical feedback. Also like the audio control knob volume. Very well put together with a nice solid feel.

This 220 dollar keyboard has random keys stop working. It may or may not work again at random intervals. If you play games, type, or do anything these particular sensors or whatever it’s called seems to have a batch from the lowest bidder. Many cases online detailing the issue. It seems to be pretty widespread. Build quality in razer components has seriously gone down over the years by using cheaper and cheaper components.

I really liked this keyboard for a first keyboard and its reslly reliable as well

R the he keys dont wven work, been using this for 2 days and it just decides to not wanna work anymore

The R key just all of a sudden stopped working. Factory reset didn’t help. Same issue across all computers in the house. It’s only been 1 month and now completely unusable. Kind of need R for regular use.

I feel genuinely sorry for anyone that makes the mistake of trusting any of the prior reviews and purchases this device.

Solid construction of keyboard, Been using for awhile with no issues to date. In conjunction with Synapse the RGB is bright and vibrant. Keys are not super loud or hollow sounding, Wrist rest is detachable as needed for space saving.

well i have bought 2 black widow elites and havent used this one yet it a spare and i think they are great so far no broken keys first one got replaced over a year of use due to broken power plug my fault second is going on 2 years no issue except D key paint wore off

This keyboard is fine, but it feels cheap compared to my Huntsman v2 Analog (which is basically the Elite now). To be fair, the Analog is much more expensive. BUT, the Elite is only $10 more and it's similar to the Analog. Pros: - A little slimmer - A little lighter - Only one USB port needed (you lose the USB pass-through, but it doesn't take up as many ports and the cable is easier to manage) Cons: - Volume knob feels cheaper than the Elite - Media controls feel cheaper than the Elite - Keycaps are PBT but they don't feel as solid as before - Some keycaps have dim spots - Some keycaps have rough edges like they need to be filed down - Wrist rest has no RGB (not a big deal, but it looked better before) - Wrist rest can slide side-to-side since there's no physical connection any more The padding makes the keyboard feel a little less rigid, which can be good or bad. After trying this, I definitely prefer NO padding. I think it makes the keys feel a little bit mushy. To be fair, these keycaps could be the same as the Elite. I've noticed that the ones on my Analog are labeled as B## on the back, where as the new ones are E##. So these could be a revision that applies to all new Razer keyboards. Regardless, the old PBT caps feel way better. Basically, for only $10 more for the Elite you can get a noticeably more premium keyboard.

Great product for all the needs of my son. He is really into gaming and this keyboard will work perfectly.

Really good for gaming. The only thing is too loud.
