I was looking for a gaming kb that was well put together and had good backlighting. When using it, the keys are responsive and well lit. Definitely feels like this will last a long while.

Got this on a sale for Christmas and while it's not the most high-end keyboard, you can buy for the lighting and macros that is offered with a being a mechanical keyboard. I like it. I like the red linear switches as they are my favorite because they are quiet. I don't like how loud most mechanical keyboards are and with a couple of o-rings the space bar and backspace are near complete silent

Very quiet keyboard. Built with sound dampening foam and linear optical switches, which seem very responsive. RGB lights behind keys are a nice touch and the razer software works well, but lights aren’t quite as bright as I expected. This version has optical switches, There is a separate huntsman that has analog which is cool if you don’t mind spending the extra money. Recommend getting a razer mouse too if buying a mouse also since the lights will sync and go nice with keyboard. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Was giving this keyboard for Christmas and i absolutely love it The trsponse time between it and my games are so smooth and quick that short of every now and then forgetting that i dont need to push so hard on the keys there is nothing wrong at all with this key board. By far beats my logitech
The best and most keyboard I have ever owned. If you are looking for gaming keyboard, get this one especially red liner switch for its quietness and amazing response

I've owned many Razer keyboards and this is by far my favorite! The Red Linear switches are extremely responsive and quiet compared to the loud purple clicky switches. I still love the clicky switches, but I had a baby and the Red Linear switches were a must to keep the noise levels down while gaming. I wasn't sure at first about going with Red Linear, but they're my new favorite switches. I bought a TKL version for travelling with my laptop.

Love this keyyboard! Quiet, quick, and great quality. I use it for work and its such a pleasure to type on it, every press is very satisfying!

I bought this to replace an older Huntsman Elite with the clicky optical switches. Compared to that and the BlackWidow 65% I have this thing is absolutely silent, excellent if people in your living situation do not appreciate the sound of mechanical switches. The lighting looks excellent and the new double shot keycaps feel great to type on, the updated wrist rest is more comfortable than the older one, although you give up the underlighting that the old Huntsman had, not a big deal for most folks but figured I'd mention it

Awesome keyboard just as described. A little difficult to get the colors programmed into a custom setting at first. Quiet, responsive, and quick.

I’ve been off the razer bandwagon for sometime but I came back to test this keyboard and the 8k polling rate mouse. I’ve enjoyed them so much I now have both for my work (personal gaming) computer and Home setup. For gaming I very much enjoy these switches. Super silent and actuate very quickly. This does come with a downside for everyday typing. I do not recommend this for heavy typing work. It can be done but these switches are geared more for gaming.

Good quality. A bit on the expensive side for any keyboard but very quality and nice quiet keys which is what I was looking for.

Switches are great, feel is awesome. Wish the rgb shined a bit brighter but it's a very mild complaint

The Razer Huntsman Wired keyboard has been excellent. The key strokes are firm and have a soft low sound when typing. The RGB is excellent; the wrist protector is adequate and overall design and layout of the keyboard is very practical and easy to use. I do recommend.

I’ve spent hours in Best Buy playing around with all the keyboards. I spend a lot of time on my computer – I mean A LOT! So having a good keyboard is a must. Of all the keyboards that I tried, this one not only felt the best to type on, it sounded the best too. I love using this keyboard. Not to mention that the media controls are pretty darn cool. I bought this and have zero regrets. Highly recommend.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Key actuators are perfect and crisp. Very configurable for keys, macros, and lighting using the Synapse software. Media controls are very responsive and easy to access. Wrist support is very nice and plush. It is not required and simply attaches magnetically and can be removed or attached in less than 1 second.

Pros: -Dampening foam makes it super quiet when typing, great for work -Dampening foam also makes it way easier to type for those who are used to mechanical brown switches or cherry reds -1 USB only required -8000 polling rate Cons: -No RGB wrist rest Depends on User, but in my opinion, against: -Way less sensitive than the original Huntsman Elite Linear -Requires more force to press down on each key. I like the original huntsman elite V1 linear because my fingers don't get tired as easily from typing for long periods of time. I think I got used to having to press lightly on the keys to register and it helps me type faster also. -The wrist rest on the V1 huntsman elite stays on better than the magnet on the V2. Personally going to get more huntsman elite V1 in case mine goes out. I may end up returning this keyboard because well, frankly I like the lighter press and sensitivity on the V1 huntsman elite v1. Only bad is if you use it for work it's kind of loud vs the V2. That's the only reason why I'm still on the fence to keep vs. return.

Was looking for a new gaming keyboard and this one fit the bill. The red linear keys are very responsive and are not clicky like the purple ones. Highly recommend for any gamers.
