Nice gaming chair. But not for small framed peopl
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a hard core computer user and gamer. I spend at least 16 hours in front of a computer or TV or gaming console a day and having and chair that supports me is a must. This Razer Iskur Gaming Chair was pretty straight forward to assemble. The instructions provided are super simple for a non technical person. HUGE card simple pictures show how to. T-tool hex is easy to use and makes it simple to bolt together. Packaging is good so it stays safe during transport. The box is huge so getting damaged during transport is high in potential. But they thought this through so you are safe. Fitment... I am 5 ft 5 inches and this chair is not made for me. This is made for taller folks. The lumbar support, shoulder position, and pillow are in the wrong spots for me. Comfort... The leather is nice. It will last long. The only bad thing with leather is if you don't have AC you will sweat like you are in a sauna during the summer months. The pillow is made of a soft suede which is nice. The seat cushion comes firm but should soften up over time. The leather is also good because it is easy to clean. Functionality... The lumbar support adjust is pretty neat and unique. The arm rests go up, down, in towards the seat out away from the seat, and twists. Basically it is fully adjustable. The back reclines about 30 degrees beyond upright which is ok. But if you want to fully recline and take a nap this seat won't do it. Overall height is easy to adjust and recline is easy to use as well. Height of the arm rests are a little high so you cannot slide it under a standard desk at the end of the day. Wheels roll nicely. Although it would be nice if they included the special gliding wheels for sound and multi surface use. I am not dinging 5 stars for the fitment issue. I would give this item 5 stars, but the 4 star is the result of some of the limited functionality of this seat. As I have an existing gaming chair (in my photo side by side) that has a little more functionality with the exception of the adjustable lumbar. Other than that, I would recommend this for taller framed folks. This is not made for folks that are less than 5 ft 5 inches. Or at least for this smaller framed person. Also funny depictions on what not to do with the chair was included in the warning. See photo.

Personal Preference
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set-Up: Seeing that massive box being delivered I was worry, I was in for a challenge for the assembly. Thankfully it wasn’t simple for the most part. There are only 8 screws required to assemble the chair. It can be done by one person, but I do recommend getting some help for the first part since it’s a heavy chair, and having someone hold the top chair while you screw in the 4 bolts to the seat it’s a lot easier when you’re not having to juggle it from falling over. After getting the first part done the rest is pretty easy. I would say took me around 20-25mins to have it fully assembled. Razer does provide huge cardboard with the instructions printed on it. Overall, I rate the setup simple enough for most people. Quality: Amazing I must say. The synthetic leather looks and feels good. It’s a solid feeling chair that doesn’t feel like it will break apart from sitting on it. It’s one of the best-looking gaming chairs I’ve seen so far. Razer knows how to make some good-looking products and it shows with the Iskur. Take a look a the pictures and noticed the diamond pattern stitching on the chair and the carbon pattern on the edge surrounded by green stitching. There’s a lot of unique touches like the gunmetal chrome buttons and levers on the adjustable arms, and the arms brackets made of this steel chrome gunmetal. It’s heavy for a reason and Razer kept plastic material usage very minimal. Unique Features: To be honest I’m the type of person that sits all the way back. A lot of the time I kept the lumbar support at the default position which is flushed in. Now, this is no way of saying it’s bad cause at the end of the day it will come down to personal preference. If you’re the type of person that sits forward this might end up being beneficial to you. Instead of just having a one size fits all lumbar pillow as other chairs have, the Razer Iskur allows you to adjust the level of lumbar support. The arms are adjustable from raising them and the ability to move them forward too. You can also adjust the tilt all the way back to the point you’re almost lying flat. In this position, it’s comfortable enough that makes you want to take a nap. Is it comfortable? Well, let me put it like this, not the most comfortable chair I’ve sat on. Some it has to do with how narrow the chair coming at 6ft of width. Being this narrow doesn’t leave much room for your legs to stretch out or move around. Another thing is how much the wings are raised almost locking you in position. For someone like that is 5’8 and right around 250lbs, I tend to move a lot so not a fan of just sitting in one position for a while. The way those wings lock you in position, I started to get some minor discomfort on my thighs. Now, it didn’t get too bad to the point the discomfort was just unbearable. I still managed to clock in a good couple of hours of a gaming session. Everything else about the chair is comfortable like the back support and the memory pillow neck support that Razer provides. I personally would of prefer a much more flatter less firm surface instead of the wings being raised that high. Even though the wings give it a much nicer look to it, practicality wise for some people it’s not worth it. If you’re not of fan of chairs that tend to hug in you, I would suggest trying it out first if possible before making that purchase decision. Overall, most people, I think will be happy with the Iskur gaming chair. It’s solid, high-end feeling and looking. It all comes down to personal preference and by now you should know what type of chairs are uncomfortable to you. For me, after a couple of days of using I was fine with it. Like I said earlier if you have your doubts about it try it first out first to ease your concerns. “Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews.

Ferrari of gaming chairs
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer’s New gaming chair, named Iskur, is a high-end, premium gaming chair with lots of bells and whistle (for a chair) and a price to match. The first thing I noticed when the box got delivered is how big and heavy it was, once I got it inside and opened it up, I noticed that everything is very well packaged and wrapped. A tool and easy to follow instructions are include. Having owned and assembled a different gaming chair, I was pretty familiar with what to expect when putting this chair together, two people is recommended since some of the parts are heavy, but it can be assembled with just one person. I assembled it by myself and take me about 45 minutes (i took my time) One piece of advice to anybody reading my review is to tighten the bolts tight but don’t overdo it, you also don’t want anything loose. My first impression of this gaming chair is a positive one, it’s got a two tone Synthetic leather pattern, one looks like carbon fiber, and then the actual seat and back rest have a honeycomb type pattern. There’s also the Razer green stitching that can be seen around the chair, Everything looks really nice and it definitely feels premium. Having experience with gaming chairs, I have a good idea of what separates the good gaming chairs from a cheap imitations, One thing I look for in a good gaming chair is whether the base is metal or plastic, this one is metal, that’s a good thing. Next I look at the quality of the materials, everything from the synthetic leather, to the stitching, to that design and craftsmanship. Everything is top-notch here. I will admit that at $500 this particular gaming chair is a little overpriced, but you do get what you pay for. Another thing I look for is how well-designed the chair is, this chair is very well designed, it has all the levers in easy to reach places for adjusting the height etc... I really like the “hand brake” style handle that is used for reclining the back rest. This chair features a weird but somewhat quirky lumbar support... with the pull of a latch and part of the back rest extrudes outwards, I personally will be not be using this feature much, but there are people out there that might find it comfortable, my problem with it is that at its farthest, it extrudes pretty far out, if I do use the lumbar support it would only have it come out just slightly, Not a big fan, but I could see why some people would like it. The hand rests can very easily be adjusted, they go up and down, Inwards or outwards, as well as front and back, I would have preferred that they have more cushioning as they are somewhat firm, but again that’s just personal preference. Speaking of firm, the chair in general is very firm. For a gaming chair I think this is a good thing as it keeps you upright and “on your toes” when playing video games. If you were looking for something a little softer with more cushioning, this chair might not be the one. The seat itself felt somewhat narrow and I’m just an average the guy in terms of height and weight. Bigger people might find this to be a problem. + well designed + lots of features and adjustments + quality materials + cool looking racing style design -quirky lumbar support -pricey -narrow seat

Comfortable, adjustable gaming chair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always wanted a gaming chair, but just never pulled the trigger and gotten one. I have always just sat on the couch and played. However, my couch is about 16' from my TV, which doesn't make for the best gaming experience. Now with this chair, I can sit closer to the TV and set it up to what works best for me. (I use my regular TV and PS4 for gaming instead of an actual gaming setup like a desk and gaming monitor). Setup. Setup was easy and the instructions come on a poster board the size of the box. You could tack it to the wall for reference if you wanted to. It is packaged very well to prevent shipping damage. I had the chair assembled in about 20 minutes by myself. It would be a little easier if you had a helper. It comes with a T-handle Allen wrench which is nice. The first thing you notice (as someone who has never seen a gaming chair in person) is that it is huge. It also weighs a little over 66 pounds. It just barely fits through an interior doorway when assembled. Keep that in mind. You probably want to assemble it in the room that you will be using it in. Adjustability. The Razer Iskur chair has more adjustments than I can count. It took me a little while to get everything adjusted to exactly the way that I wanted it, but once I did it was amazing. There are the standard adjustments like height (I'm 6' tall and at the tallest height my feet barely touch the ground), and recline, but there are many more. There is a side handle to lock the recline amount. It has a lever for recline lock. You can lean it as far back as you want and keep it there. The lumbar support comes out about halfway across the seat bottom and you can adjust it to anywhere in between fully in (no extra support) to all the way out. There is a tension adjustment knob under the middle of the seat. If you like to lean back with less resistance, then you can loosen that knob and the chair will lean back more freely. The armrests have four adjustments of their own. 1. The standard height adjustment. 2. The armrests can be moved forward or backward. 3. The armrests can move in or out (closer or further from you). 4. The armrests can be positioned straight, pointing in or pointing out. Comfort. My first use was for about two hours. I didn't have any fatigue or need to keep moving around as I did on the couch. I've started sitting in it while watching TV as well, just because it is so comfortable. The pillow for the headrest is extremely soft and comfortable memory foam. My wife sat in it and said that the bottom was too stiff, but I think it's just right. It's firm enough to support you, but soft enough to keep you comfortable. I also love the colors. Razer's lime green really pops on the black. Overall, I highly recommend this chair for serious gamers. If you play for multiple hours every week, then this chair will help you step up your game in absolute comfort.

Welcome To The Next Level
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gaming is escapism. I spend several hours a day playing games not only for myself but I will stream my gaming adventures for my audience. Comfort has an important partnership with any gaming experience. Over a year ago, I decided to purchase a gaming chair from a lesser-known brand/company. It arrived, I put it together and I would use it. It was my first gaming chair so I didn’t know what exactly I was supposed to be experiencing. Sure, it was an improvement over my standard desk chair but at the end of the day, it wasn’t noteworthy. Then came the Razer Iskur Gaming Chair. I am familiar with the Razer brand with their gaming controllers, gaming headsets, and gaming keyboards. All of which I have a positive relationship with. But a gaming chair? How much of a difference would the Iskur chair make compared to my brand-x chair? I decided to find out. Assemble: Immediately, I appreciated the efficiency of having the screws, parts, and assembly tool packaged neatly instead of being overwhelmed with a bunch of nuts and screws that you have to triple-check to make sure that they are separated accordingly. Razer doesn’t overwhelm you with too many parts. Their instructions are clear and spot-on. And they even provide a link to an assembly video if you’re second-guessing yourself. Follow the instructions and you can have your chair ready within a half hour. Ready Player One: As soon as I sat down in the Razer Iskur, I felt the difference IMMEDIATELY! I felt comfortable and stable. What I mean by stable is that with the previous gaming chair, despite having all the screws secured, it always felt wobbly as I sat in it. There was always a ‘loose’ feeling in my old gaming chair. Then there are the foam cushions that Razer uses for the Iskur. The Iskur feels like it’s holding you firmly but at the same time, you are feeling comfortable that you wouldn’t expect from anything outside of a recliner. The Razer Iskur doesn’t play around when it comes to providing the user with comfort. Then there is the remarkable lumbar support feature. This isn’t some small pillow that is strapped onto the chair and pretends to offer support, the Iskur lumbar is adjustable to the way YOU want it. I felt an immediate difference as I found myself sitting straighter in the chair. It’ll be very difficult for anyone to slouch and poor posture while sitting in this chair. And those long gaming sessions can take a toll on you if you aren’t feeling comfortable. Then there are a bunch of little features that make the Iskur even more personal for the user. The armrests are adjustable. Forwards, backward, left, or right. The armrests can be rotated inward or outward. And of course, the armrests can be adjusted up and down to your preference. Adjusting the height of the chair is EASY compared to the frustration of other gaming chairs. Lifting the handle allows you to recline if you choose to. There’s also a tilt option that is just as easy to access. I’ve never seen so much customization with a chair. To be honest, I didn’t know a chair was able to have all of these features. And I have to sing the praises of the head cushion. It’s a memory foam cushion that cradles your head, reminding you that this chair is playing around when it comes to comfort. Beyond Gaming: I also use the Razer Iskur as my desk chair. I spend a lot of time at my desk working on various projects that require me to be typing on a computer. With my previous chair, I started feeling tired within the first hour because my body wants to go into ‘sleep mode’ when I’m feeling discomfort. Since using the Razer Iskur, my better sitting posture has me feeling more energized, allowing me to get more done in a shorter amount of time. At this point, I have established how much I am loving this Razer gaming chair. If you’re looking to upgrade your chair to the Iskur then you are making a great choice. If you’re looking for your first gaming chair then you are not only making a great choice but a WISE one at that. Gaming is about immersion. You deserve to be comfortable during your adventures.

Welds broke
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this chair online for my son December 2021. Weld on the base plate where the stand attaches to chair failed in just over 3 months of use, just outside of BestBuy return policy. Trying to contact Razer for 3 year warranty claim, no response yet. Terrible quaility given the high price.

Posture > Plush | My Spine Loves the Iskur
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe the Iskur is solely focused on posture, not lounging back and finding lots of different comfy positions. Having come from a very comfortable (yet short-lived) memory-foam filled gaming chair, I believe the Iskur is a great choice for someone looking to maintain good posture for long periods. The first 3 days of sitting in this chair for 7 - 8 hours at a time were rough to the point where I almost returned it. Between the much more firm seat and rigid, locked-in feeling of the chair, I thought I was simply too large for it. After lots of fiddling and letting the chair settle, I've found the perfect position for maintaining a supported spine with pressure being spread evenly to my lower back, hips, and legs. I realized I was literally retraining my body to sit properly. Though I felt sore at the start, but it was absolutely worth the few hours of irritation and constant readjusting. In my second week, I've sat in the chair for up to 10 hours straight and feel almost... (rejuvenated?) when I get up. I am 5ft 11in and 250 lbs (overweight but working on it) and this thing fits like a glove. I expect it to only feel better once I drop a few lbs and get more wiggle room in the seat. Pros: - Once adjusted, the full-body support is unbeatable. - Great arm rests. I took my memory foam arm covers off due to how comfortable these are. - Build quality is very solid. Though HEAVY, the chair rolls smoothly and does not jitter at all. Cons: - PRICEY. $500 is hard to swallow, especially if you are open to used ergo chairs like an Aeron. As of winter 2021, they can commonly be found at around $340 - which I'd call a good price. - Leather. If possible, get the cloth version. While I have the leather and enjoy it, it will inevitably wear down faster than cloth. The materials used are incredibly tough, but I still plan to treat it like I do my leather car seats. Final Thoughts: This turned-out way longer than I thought, but hopefully it was helpful. I'd say this chair is a 4/10 for the first day or so then a 9/10 once you get it dialed in.

Absolutely love it
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this chair. I play online games quite a bit, but I'm also sitting at the desk in my home office most of the day, and since I have some back problems, a comfortable chair that provides support is a must. When I saw this chair with an adjustable lumbar support was available to test, I had to try it, and I'm glad I did; this chair is great so far. The box is a bit unwieldy for one person to handle, but once it's opened, even though it's suggested to have someone help assemble it, I managed to have it together in only 30 minutes. However, I would suggest assembling this chair on the same level you plan to use it. I assembled it my kitchen, and then had to get it to the upper floor, which was a bit of a chore since it weighs about 65 lbs. The synthetic leather that covers this chair looks and feels great, and the foam in the seat cushion is very firm, but slowly molds to you as you sit in it. The side bolsters that are present on both the seat and back provide lateral support... it reminds me of a Recaro bucket seat. The chair is adjustable in almost every way possible. The only adjustment that's missing is that the seat bottom cannot be moved forward/backward, but the adjustable lumbar support compensates for that. The lumbar support is what I really love about this chair. I've had chairs with fixed lumbar supports, and I've attempted to add lumbar support to other chairs, but it's almost impossible to have them remain comfortable for very long. However, the lumbar support on this chair is absolutely incredible. It provides firm, yet comfortable support, and it can be adjusted at the touch of a lever. Another problem I've had with previous chairs is that armrests are only partly adjust. This chair sports '4-D' adjustability; the armrests can be moved up/down, in/out, forward/back. and rotated in/out... all in seconds! I have long arms, so I would like it if I could drop the drop the arms another 1/2", but they do drop low enough to where I haven't had any neck/shoulder pain from unconsciously leaning on an elbow while playing or working. To me, this chair is a home-run; it looks great, seems very well built, and it provides a ton of comfortable support. Overall, I love this chair.

Was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With all the things you hear about “gaming chairs” being bad or too pricey for what they are I was worried that this chair would fit be the same… But man was I wrong! There are lots of chairs for the same price but sadly don’t offer much of a premium value, but this one definitely feels like my money is going in the right place. By right place I mean Ergonomics! one of the most important things you definitely need in a chair. Razer’s definitely got you covered with the built in adjustable lumbar support. Most chairs will give you some kind of pillow that may do the job for a bit, at least until the pillow becomes flatter over time… some chairs at this price point t don’t even offer any back support which is crazy to think about. This chair is so comfortable and the amount of stuff you can adjust is great. You can adjust the angle of the chair, the back of the chair angle as well, the arm rest (up, down, left, right, and left and right angle adjust too), oh and of course the lumbar support can be adjusted to really huge angles for those time when you are leaning forward and “in the zone” With all these amazing things being said about the Razer Iskur, BE WARNED this is not a great chair for people who are a bit on the larger side, it’s very snug (which I assume is for posture/ ergonomics reasons). So you can’t do thing like sit criss crossed on the chair. I’m around 5 6” so this works great for me This chair worked perfectly for me (and I hope it fits everyone else nicely as well). Solid 10/10 would definitely recommend, a great mix of Style and Comfort

Amazing gaming chair IF you use it as it was desig
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This chair is extremely well built and has a lot of adjustments that you don't find on other chairs. I chose the fabric covering and it is comfortable while remaining cool when used for extended periods. The leg bolsters are pretty narrow with firm padding but they do soften with use and become more comfortable. I am 6' tall and 265lbs and I don't feel that the chair is too narrow, but if you have wide hips or thighs, you will want to look at the XL version of the chair. Be sure to read all the specs on the XL version as it is not a whole lot wider. This chair is really designed to keep you in a proper sitting position so if you're a person who likes to sit cross legged or anything other than upright with your legs straight out in front of you, this is probably not the chair for you. If you sit in the chair the way it was designed to be used, it is comfortable for hours. I've noticed a huge difference in fatigue and stiffness/discomfort since I started using this chair.

Proper Lumbar Support
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had back issues for a large portion of my life due to injuries from playing college football. I have had 4 chairs in the last three years and this chair is by far the best lumbar support. Many of the review comment on larger people having difficulty sitting in the chair. I am 6' 2" 225 and have no issues sitting in the chair, but I am also of a muscular build. If you are a person with more "cushion" I would probably avoid this chair. The build quality of the chair is fantastic and seems like the material and frame with last a very long time. Compared to my AKRacing chairs that I have had, this chair is far superior. The assembly process took me 20 minutes and is very pretty easy compared to other office and gaming chairs.

This chair delivers comfort.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a gamer. I bought this to get better lumbar, arm and neck support while I spend hours on the computer doing writing and website development. This chair delivers. The green stitching, Razer logo and company motto are unnecessary for me, but no one sees them on a zoom call anyway. I originally sat in this chair at an office products store. Best Buy brought the price down to where I could afford it. It weighs 46 pounds. Some people may need help getting it in the house and assembling it. The instructions are GOOD. Read them very carefully and look at the pictures. I wasted time and had to undo/re-do some parts.

best gaming/office chair
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love everything about this chair. I'm not a gamer, but I figured that gamers can spend more time at a computer in a single sitting than most office workers do in a day, so might as well go for a chair designed for them. This chair is super easy to assemble, super comfortable to sit in, and looks gorgeous (talking about the fabric option). The adjustable options don't get a lot of use once I dialed them in, but the ability to fine-tune the seating, arm position, and lumbar support is great to have, especially when I go from sitting to slouching. The lumbar support on this thing is incredible--I have used chairs that have lumbar support in the past and found them painful, this is the most pleasant I've experienced, and I've stopped having agonizing back pain from sitting at my desk. There are sides to the seat that can press against your thighs if you tend to spread out and slouch in a chair, but while working and sitting upright I find them extremely comfortable and I'm glad to have them. I'm 6'1 and 175lbs. That said, my partner also used this chair and didn't like the sides or the lumbar support, even with adjustments because they were so distracting, so YMMV.
