Customers recognize the Kishi controller's ease of use and generally positive build quality, frequently praising its convenient USB-C port and compact design. However, some users experienced compatibility issues with certain games and phones, noting that the fit wasn't ideal for all devices. While many found the controller responsive, some criticisms focused on the feel of the triggers and D-pad.

This is the perfect accessory that gives your phone a well made controller for use with various games, but most importantly streaming services like Xbox Game Pass, Stadia and more.
It'll fit your Android phone with ease, but you will likely run into trouble if you have a case. Fortunately, there are some rubber stoppers that can be peeled away that lets cases fit. I think they're there to give more stability for the phone, but since you have a case in its place then no functionality is lost.

This is a great controller for your phone, especially if you use Xbox game pass, other similar services, and emulation. Just know that it wont be compatible with every other mobile game you may want to play. Some games still dont support this controller, like CoD mobile and PUBG. Youll run into other mobile games that wont be supported either, but overall, this is worth buying if its discounted.

I bought this so I could remote play from my ps4 and not have to sit in front of the TV in one specific room. It works great. When pressing buttons there is no delay. The only downfall is if you have a phone case on your phone you will have to take it off each time to use. Only fits the actual phone itself not the phone case as well. But I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade their mobile experience. As for using it for games from the app store I'm not sure. I haven't tried it yet.

How to turn your old phone to a console

Very good controller. I am not a big gamer, just getting back into it. Was looking for turning my old Pixel 3a XL into kind of 'comsoke', and this works great with it. Just wish all the Android games would support controllers (standards guys). Might be ever better with streaming services, haven't tried those yet though.

I love using the Kishi whenever I'm out and about or in the car for a trip. I can use emulators on my phone to make a portable DS or Gameboy without actually bringing around my DS or Gameboy. Only lost a star because I have to take my case off to use it.

The Kishi feels very comfortable. It’s more Xbox controller than DualShock 4, though noticeably less premium-feeling than both. The triggers, in particular, feel a little spongey, though I had no trouble when actually using them. One incredibly welcome addition is the introduction of clickable joysticks. It’s a surprisingly satisfying click, and the joysticks feel robust enough to survive long playing sessions or being chucked, and forgotten, in your bag. The face buttons and d-pad do suffer from the similar spongey feeling as the shoulder buttons, but, again, don’t cause any issues when you actually play with them. On the other hand, because they are not clicky, they are also quite, which means you can play without disturbing anyone else in the room. L1 and R1 feel surprisingly robust, though, and the home, menu, and triple dot button share the clickiness of the joysticks. For the most part, its plug and play. I did however have to use a third party app for PSRemote play.

I love this controller. I use it mostly to play fortnite on my phone, occassionally a few other games. Makes playing sooo much easier. Only down falls are 1. It does not fit my galaxy note 9 with my phone case on. 2. It would be great if was a little more stable, if held with one hand my phone falls out.

In all fairness, I'm still learning my way around with this Razer Kishi. However, what I've learned so far is nice! You have to have an Xbox Game Pass app to be able to use this. I love being able to play all of my Xbox games via cloud gaming on my Kishi! I've not been able to play my Microsoft PC console games though. Perhaps that's coming in the future. But for the most part, it's been an absolute delight to have. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The controller has good response time, but without the phone I feel like I could break it easily. Its not a Bluetooth controller so it won't work with cod mobile or some other mobile games out there, but works great with Xbox cloud gaming and many others. I ended up with an xbox controller with a clamp that holds my phone.
