Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Kishi controller's ease of use and compatibility with iOS devices. Many appreciate its comfortable fit and responsive buttons, while some find the price point to be a drawback and others mention concerns about battery life. A few users also noted occasional connection issues and less-than-ideal ergonomics for extended play sessions.

Pretty good but probably better options out there

I really wanted to like this handheld. The main issue I ran into was the functionality sometimes got a little wonky (inputs wouldn't work, connectivity drops, etc) I believe the latest versions are better. I'm a Razer fan so I hope they keep pushing out good devices.

A great controller if you an into Mobil gaming. Buttons are alittle stiffer than standard console controller ones but a clear and responsive. Joysticks are clean and have smooth travel. Have used it for a few weeks now and it works perfectly with my iphone 13 pro!! NOTE: Slight, modifications/cuts were made to the rubber inserts to expose the front facing speaker and another slight trim was made to accommodate the larger camera bump in the back. All on the left side. These were not needed just made fit that much better. NOTE: The LED battery indicator lights do not work on mine. I don't know if this is an iphone software issue or the product itself at the time of wirting this review (IOS 15.2.1). I would recommend to use this with out a phone case even if you can get it to work with yours just for additional cooling since mobile games tend to heat you the phone faster. Slight downside is the additional $30 cost for the iphone version over the andriod one.

Got this for my son for Christmas. He loves it. Build quality feels nice and works seamlessly with his iphone. Able to play stadia or ps5 remote play, definitely uses it more than the switch.

Bought this to play a variety of mobile games. While it works great with games like “Call of Duty Mobile” it also works well for plays toon remote play and “Xbox Game pass” the only reason I left off a star is while using GEForce now it sometimes has trouble connecting to the platform. While this may be a platform issue it can be a bit annoying.

I love it so much. It turned my phone into a portable Xbox which I love because I’m a huge Xbox fan and love Xbox game pass. I have a iPhone 8 Plus and it works perfect

I purchased this to compare with the Backbone One mobile controller for iPhone and it worked really well. I just preferred the Backbone controller more. The Kishi hooks up to your phone and just works. If I had an android device, then I'd be perfectly happy with the Kishi. My only gripes are how loose the left side feels when on the phone and where my fingers rest underneath when holding it

This product is amazing if you are playing games on native hardware and not cloud gaming. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone is if you are doing cloud gaming on the move. The tech just isn’t quite there yet. But if you are playing mobile games such as COD Mobile or Oceanhorn 2 on iOS, it is a great accessory to have for gaming

So far this has been compatible with mobile games and for playing my PS4 and Xbox One remotely on my iPhone. It has a pass through charging port so you can charge your phone while using the controller. It does not use Bluetooth which is great because you don’t have to charge the controller separately. The controller can be made smaller when not in use for easy compact mobility. However, the controller feels a bit flimsy and is not very ergonomic so it doesn’t feel the greatest in your hands. The controller ends on each side of the iPhone feel loose at times and can bend a bit forwards and backwards. I don’t think this thing would survive if you were to drop it and you also risk damaging the charging port on you iPhone. Overall the quality should be much better for this high priced mobile controller.

As with all human-interface-devices, this is personal preference. This is just not for me. Not comfortable, and the buttons dont feel good. Awesome concept and im sure the future USB-C version for iPhone will be improved.

Works pretty great. Don’t really have any issues. Maybe the way games don’t connect right away sometimes. Or maybe an indicator to let it be known it’s connected to the game or a notification or something. Other then that works great

The convenience of this controller was what I was after. I just started playing my Xbox via GamePass and the cloud, on my cellphone. It works pretty well, but this device makes playing more portable. It’s easy to setup as you don’t need a Bluetooth connection. I’ve used this on my iPhone 11 and 12.

I grabbed this while it was on sale. a little steep for the price, but if you game on the go and hate touch screen, this is one of the best options out there. I don’t like removing my phone case to put it in here, but that’s on me for getting the largest possible iPhone, so I can’t knack Razer for that. Buttons are a great premium feel, and the controller connects right away. Always end up slaying COD Mobile with this on.

Good layout, and seems to work fine as a controller. I have a few mild complaints, however. There’s a flexible connector that runs along the back of the device, which allows it to adjust to different sized phones, but it seems fairly fragile and I’m not sure that the design will hold up to long term use. It’s also quite expensive, though there doesn’t seem to be another controller quite like this, so guessing that’s part of the reason for the premium price. Finally, while it may be compatible with some cases, the phone case that I use does not fit into the controller, requiring me to take my phone out of the case every time I want to use it, which is annoying.

Small compact device that give you the look and feel of a Nintendo switch. I wish it came with pads to better sit the phone. I use a iPhone 11 and can’t use the inserts they give you with or without a case so the connector sits almost alone on the phone so at times loses connection. Annoying.

As this controller did not fit my phone, I couldn’t properly judge it. Reviews online seemed to convince me that it would fit my phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, so maybe it was wishful thinking, but that’s all I can say.
