However, the microphone quality on this webcam is garbage. I put my old $30 Logitech webcam right next to this one and compared the microphones, and the Logitech one is significantly better. The Razer's microphone is very quiet. At normal talking level I get an input level of 15%. So, I sound very quiet to others. The microphone is also very stuffy sounding and not clear at all. Since I don't want to spend more more money, I now have to have both this Razer webcam and my old Logitech webcam hooked up so I can use the Razer for video and the Logitech for audio.

It eats up alot of CPU granted i have an older Intel processor. A heads up you dont need the software running to use the cam.

I have just started using it now - against using it immediately hence late review. The camera works like a very old style throughput on the screen - it is no where comparable even to a lower end model from Logitech that I've been using. The resolution is so poor, it takes a lot of time to get sharpened from blur. Also, the light provided on the rim is totally useless. If there was a way to return this product, I'd do it - I have all the packaging.

Logitech Brio a better option, just don't get this camera.
