Great webcam that's best w/ Razer's software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a better webcam than the built-in 720p one on my work laptop and was intrigued by the ringlight on this. I doubted it would be as good as my standalone light, but the fact that it was built-in and didn't need another power supply was a big plus. On initial install with the default drivers, you'll think it's OK - it's got a wide (too wide?) field of view and the picture is better than most default webcams, but it can get so much better! Unfortunately, this means you need to install Razer's software which also requires an email address/login. I don't think it's a big deal since I had it installed already, but if you're concerned, just have a separate email you use for spam, lists, etc. So after installing Razer's software, now you can adjust the camera's parameters like zoom (to focus more on your face than the background!), white balance, color, etc. I got it set up perfectly then switched to Webex and Zoom to test it. It was great and a huge improvement over the default webcam. The ringlight is nice, but it's not as bright as the separate one I had mounted on the desk. Again, the pro is that it's now just one USB cable vs. a separate light, stand, and power supply. NOTE - after setting your camera as desired, don't use Window's "Camera" app to check it. It will reset all of your camera settings. If you want to check it, set it up using Razer's software, then check it out in your Webex, Zoom or other app since there's typically a video test or self-view.

Great buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works Perfectly with very little setup. Needed for a work webcam, it was pretty much plug and play. Glad I caught it on sale.

Awesome Webcam
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this webcam for my work PC. It came at a pretty reasonable price with its high functionality. Setup was really straight forward. It works pretty much out the box on windows PCs. The drivers install automatically once plugged in. The light feature is pretty nice, it smooths out the picture a bit more. It does a great job of working in low lighting which is perfect for working at the PC all day. I highly recommend this to someone looking for an alternative to the LG webcams.

First Impressions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately not compatible with Mac so I did not get to try it, but 5 stars alone for packaging and overall hand feel. The camera has a good weight to it and it just looks like it's gonna get the job done well.

Decent, 1080p 30fps camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good camera for a decent price, especially if you can find it on sale. The light ring is not as useful as I thought when purchasing. So if I were to buy it again, I would probably just go with the cheaper option that does not have the light ring. Another thing I was not to happy about, is the listing is wrong. While it does do 1080p video, it is at 30fps, 60fps is locked at 720p.

Great Camera for Streaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer interface is extremely easy to interact with. The colors are very warm and the streams are always smooth. Would definitely recommend, especially if you already have Razer products so that they interact smoothly. But this can also be used without Synapse, which is a huge plus

Fair price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works fairly well, The ring light is a little unnecessary as it doesn’t do much compared to the light from your computer, but the camera is decent and has a nice auto focus feature.

Worth it for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good resolution, very wide angle which is good if that is what you are looking for. Autofocus is a bit imprecise. I use an external microphone so I don't know how the audio quality is.

Great design, let down by image and compatibility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get the Kiyo as its built-in light ring was perfect for what I needed. The design of the Kiyo is great. In addition to the light ring, the unit articulates nicely on its base. It uses high quality materials and is an attractive piece. Sadly, I'm returning it because of two killer gaps: 1) It just doesn't work with most USB hubs and extension cables. I have a powerful desktop with a high-quality USB card in it that delivers high power and separate hubs for each port; I use high-quality extension cables to connect the camera to my desktop, but none worked. I tried multiple, including powered ones. I got it to work with one hub, but marginally. 2) The image quality is poor - grainy in all but the best light and just unclear. When you compare it to the image quality I get from my similarly priced Logitech 922, they are worlds apart. So I'm returning it and will get another Logitech.
