I rarely get disappointed with Razer hardware, so I had to get this camera when I was able. It's a higher-priced component, but I never had an issue with it. The only thing I will point out is the lack of fine-tuned zooming but it might be an oversight on my part or the limitation of the camera software I'm using. I also like the fact that I can adjust the pitch and move the camera around. Being able to use this on a tripod if I ever need to is a bonus. Solid buy.

The camera has a good frame to process the images and videos as well. I was able to put a support under the camera to stand in my desk and it works amazingly!

It’s a great webcam. The auto white balance sucks so I’d do that manually

The camera works well with a Chromebook, including audio. We can't use the Razer software to configure it but that was expected.

I bought the webcam on sale for half off, so 100 dollars at the time. It does very well in may different lighting situations, and stays firmly focused on your face. I’m not sure if I would get it for normal full price as you could get a 4K webcam at that point, but for 100 dollars it’s a very strong option.

Great quality video. It works great in obs. Also no issues using streamyard.

great camera especially over my cellphone. I think the auto focus works fine and the firm ware update does work, but you need to mess with the Windows camera settings before getting to work through Synapse. I was able to adjust and figure it out. Works great. Don't know if i'd pay 199 for it, and got it at a sale price, but it does have great clarity and works well for work and for chats with friends.

I got this thing an hour ago and have been checking out its performance on my Mac Mini, and am quite disappointed. First and foremost, the picture quality is rather dull and lifeless. And as some reviewers have noted, it doesn't adjust the focus very swiftly if you are moving. In fact, I am not getting the picture in focus at all when the camera is attached to the top of my external monitor. And when I move, the picture halts and then snaps back and then halts again, as if it's buffering. Finally, the Synapse software is not compatible for the Mac, at least not with the current Mac OS. What??!! So it's going back.
