Had high hopes for this camera and didn't really need it. Installed it on the computer and the drivers downloaded as well, but didn't power on. I can't recommend cause it didn't work, but I had high hopes. I just returned it, since I didn't need it.

This camera has amazing video quality, however that doesn’t make up for its complete unreliability. Due to this camera streaming uncompressed video directly to the pc it produces amazing videos, but Razer needs to improve the reliability of their drivers to make the camera more stable. Disconnects and computer lock ups are common on my previously normally working computer, and they disappear immediately after disconnecting the camera.

Love the quality of the image but couldn't never get a stable video connection. Had to return this and ended buying Facecam (Elgato).

I was very excited to get this camera at half-price during a flash sale at BestBuy. It looked like precisely what I wanted - a quality webcam. Unfortunately, it glitched and stuttered about every ten seconds. I tried everything - updating firmware, rebooting, reinstalling drivers, yada yada... Nothing was resolving it. A Google search showed a lot of other very unhappy Razer Kiyo owners, many who were suffering the same issue with no resolution. A call to tech support made it clear they had no idea how to help me, offering the same generic advise I always get from clueless techs - Reboot. Reinstall. Exchange for another. The web site suggested changing some advanced settings. Nothing worked. The shame is that the image quality is stunning when it doesn't suddenly have split-second seizures 6 times a minute. I rarely can't work around problems, and that combined with really wanting this otherwise great webcam to work for me only adds to the disappointment. I'd rather be giving a stellar review. But it's going back tomorrow.

Camera is great quality but it is a bit too big and bulky.

The original version of this webcam cannot be updated with firmware and has a problem focusing. I got one of those when I bought this from BestBuy. To replace it, you have to send into Razer, wait for them to get it, accept it is undamaged, and process it. Then you have to wait for them to send you a new one. In other words, to get a webcam that I can use (that focuses well and can be updated with new firmware), I would have to wait 2-3 weeks. This went back to BestBuy as soon as I read all the issues related to this batch on the Razer Forums. Other than that, it is a really nicely made and hefty camera that screams nice quality.

Wasted 2 hours of setup time updating firmware, but still could not get this camera to function on 2 different Dell desktops using Windows 10. Contacted Razer support, they didn't know how to assist.

This camera does not work consistently no matter what I do or what USB 3.0 or 3.2 I hook it to. It's beyond frustrating. Everytime I try to go live or record there's some sort of major bug that takes 2 hours to solve. The Standard Kiyo works fine. This camera is utter garbage I have worked with Razer tech support ~8 times and I grow madded each time. Synapse also bricked 2 systems previously and I had to reinstall windows each time. Awful product, awful company.

I purchased this item for my home office 28 months ago. I participate is many calls for my work. It started a few months ago my mic would cut out. Today it is dead. Good thing i save my old LogiTech that i got back in 2013. I am using that one again.

I bought three Kiyo Pro webcams and they all successfully updated from the 1.3 firmware they shipped with to the current (December 2022) 1.5 firmware. Everything seems to be working fine so far.

Believe the other negative reviews. Purchased 2 of these and both can’t update Firmware on either. Razer support is stumped. A premium product like this shouldn’t have unfixable bugs. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Razer cut the price on theses since there’s a high likelihood of purchasing a faulty one like mine. Have yet to find one where the firmware can be updated.

Had driver issues and couldn't update firmware. Went through razor support and they were going to try to send me the exact same one. Never Buy this product.

After spending an entire day trying to figure out why my webcam is not working I find out that even though it “works” with xbox it’s not supported by xbox.

would not stream 1080p at 60fps. Had to drop to 720p. Update of driver required registry editing. Returned for Logitech streamcam plus. Very happy with it
