I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I dabble an hour or two each night. I wanted a headset that was comfortable, well built, and didn't break the bank. This headset fit that bill! The aluminum frame makes the headset feel like its premium quality. The sound is great and they are comfortable for extended periods of wear. I also like all of the sound and mic customization options available in the Razer Synapse software (I used EQ settings from an earlier review on this product and they worked great). I would definitely recommend this to someone who is new to the headset game or even the more serious user who isn't looking to spend a fortune.

I mean this is just a fancy headset right? Yes. it is. but it works amazingly and sounds great. I was playing RDR2 and a cut scene almost (ALMOST) brought me to tears because it sounded so epic. I have an Atmos set up and this sounds way better. They are extremely comfortable and you can forget you have them on at times. The retractable microphone is also a great feature i didn't know i needed until I had it. With razor, it's the little things they do that set them apart from other brands, and they did an amazing job on this product.

Sound is amazing I can hear my team and the tiny footsteps around me. The mic is also really good. The software is a little annoying but after you get it to work its incredible.

These headphones are very comfortable and have great sound. I would defiantly recommend them for gaming and watching videos. They have a very afordable price.

Great headset, super comfy with really good surround sound, only downside is they’re on the bulky side.

It is a great headset. Comfortable. Adjustable mic. Mute button. Adjustable volume. Noise canceling. I use it for online teaching and it works perfect for that.

They sound great, feel comfortable and work perfectly with my ps4. I don’t use the THX dac just the headphones but the sound is just fine with chat and hearing in game

This is the 3rd one I’ve bought. And it isn’t because they’ve tore up. I bought for me, my son and daughter. They work good are comfortable and good sound quality. The earphones are super comfortable. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the razer app is super trash! And I mean super trash! The app is one reason why I stopped using the viper ultimate. Long story! But headset works great out of the box and if I remember correctly, I bout for $59 which is a steal!

I have loved razer products for awhile now. They are a great company for gaming gear the headset itself has more bass and mids which sounds great when you go into the treble frequencies you will need to adjust it through the synapse software. What i dislike is you must use synapse 3(beta) to get the full potential of the headset. The recent update finally fixed the volume adjustments between game volume and communication software Ex.(discord,Skype,Etc.). Overall great headset with a mic that is good quality just need to adjust it for your own liking.

Love the quality of these headsets. I use them for gaming on my PS4 and PS5 and they make it sound like I am in the game!

I would reccomend this headset to anyone. First, the headset is comfortable. When it comes to headsets, the No.1 priority is if the headset is comfortable. Second, this headset lasted me a while. The headset is worth it for being comfortable and durable. My third reason why this headset is good is because of the sound quality. I played Rainbow Six Siege with this headset and I was able to hear every noise that had importance.

I just recently got a pc after using a crappy laptop for years and while looking for accessories i found the krakens. Honestly from someone whos never used a gaming headset and used cheap headphones, this is was a major upgrade and 100% worth it if ur on a budget in my opinion. The only down side is that it takes more time to set up the headphones than it takes to set up a pc or else its one of the best budget options.

This is an amazing headset for any need. Quality of sound is amazing with its 7.1 surround sound for music or gaming. I’ve played around 500 hours with this headset now and now problems. Mic is crystal clear if you’re trying to take calls or talk to your buddies on discord. It’s made by Razer which is a very reputable company, and in fact my entire gaming setup is all razer, so take it from me, A semi-pro counterstrike player, if you’re looking for a headset for gaming, talking, music with deep bass, or just a general headset this is the one.

Mainly used for PS4. The headphones are super comfortable. I wear glasses and it doesn't feel like my head is getting squished. Also super light compared to my old headset. Only issue is I have to adjust sound for every game I play because you really can't use the usb controller with PS4. There are volume and a mic control on the cable for the headset but it doesn't seem to get loud enough. Other than that, I would recommend this. Just have to adjust in game volume .

My brother has been using these for 2 years. They're great, he loves them. They feel light without feeling cheap.

Important to know that the THX box will not work with a console, but will work quite well on a PC. Another note is that for some the THX box may be a bit clunky, it’s not too heavy or anything but it just is a box in the middle of your headset cord. Personally I just mounted it to the desk and it works great as a mounted set of controls. Other than that, these are exactly what you want: comfy, great sound and good easy to use controls. One of the few pairs of headphones/headsets I can keep on for hours without feeling uncomfortable.

I “downgraded” from the PlayStation Platinum Heaset, and boy are these good. First thing I noticed was how much lighter they are, and wen I put them on, it almost felt like they were custom made to fit my ears. They sound is great too. Very loud and clear, and with enough bass. For about half the price of other high quality headsets, I highly recommended these. The only con about the product, is that I wish Razer or Sony would make all functions fully compatible (THX sound, Game/Chat balance). Other than that, these are amazing!!

Really easy setup which is nice, comfortable wearing for multiple hours and no nasty headache. Was very happy about that. Also they work with any gaming system even switch. Only bummer is that the 7.0 sound enhancement device doesn't currently work with Xbox. But PlayStation and PC it works great and that's not Razers fault hopefully that gets added in a update from microsoft. Also there is a few apps from Razer you can use to enhance your listening experience!

I was looking for an upgrade from my previous HyperX headset, and this headset seemed like a good choice (especially considering that my keyboard, mouse, and pc case are all Razer). The sound quality on this headset is great, and the usb audio controller it comes with is really nice for when I switch between games and music. the THX Spacial Audio lets me hear where every footstep in game is coming from, and there is a bass controller for when I’m listening to my favorite music! Would definitely recommend this product!

This was exactly what I was looking for, for my Xbox One. They sound great, are comfortable, and the mic works great. Totally satisfied.
