The Razer Kraken V3 Pro is a solid choice for gamers seeking a wireless headset with immersive audio and cutting-edge features. Here’s my breakdown: Sound Quality: The sound quality is excellent, with deep bass and clear mids. The THX Spatial Audio technology enhances the overall experience, providing an immersive 360-degree soundstage that’s perfect for gaming. The HyperSense haptic feedback feature is a standout, adding a new dimension to gaming audio by translating in-game action into physical vibrations. It’s a unique touch, though it can feel overwhelming in some scenarios. Comfort: The Kraken V3 Pro is very comfortable, with memory foam ear cushions and a lightweight build. The adjustable headband ensures a snug fit, and I could wear the headset for extended gaming sessions without discomfort. The design, while a bit bulky, doesn’t feel too heavy on the head. Wireless Performance: The wireless connection is reliable, with no noticeable lag or dropouts during gaming. The headset uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, providing solid range and stability, which is essential for long, uninterrupted gaming sessions. Battery Life: Battery life is decent, lasting around 20 hours with the haptic feedback feature turned on. If you disable HyperSense, you can get up to 40 hours of use, which is impressive. The quick charge feature is also helpful, giving you a few hours of playtime after just 15 minutes of charging. Build Quality: The headset feels durable, with a metal frame and high-quality plastic components. It’s built to last, and the overall construction feels sturdy. However, the design might not be to everyone’s taste as it’s on the bulky side and a bit flashy with its RGB lighting. Mic Quality: The mic quality is good, with clear voice transmission. The noise-canceling microphone ensures that background noise is minimized, but it’s not quite as premium as some higher-end models. Still, it’s more than sufficient for in-game communication. Verdict: Overall, the Razer Kraken V3 Pro is a great headset for gamers who want a premium experience. Its immersive sound, wireless convenience, and comfortable design make it a great choice. However, the haptic feedback feature might not be for everyone, and the bulkier design may not be to everyone’s liking. If you’re looking for an all-around solid headset with some unique features, this is a great option.

If its your first time shopping for gaming headsets and don’t want to break the bank after watching and reading tons of reviews, these are a great first choice. Absolutely skip on Razer’s PC software, unless you really need to customize the led lighting on the sides (which you wont even get to see since you’re…you know, wearing them) , you wont be missing out on any features or sound quality if you dont use it, and you can read all about how its very intrusive and just an awful experience, Ive been using the Kraken V3 pros without the razer pc app for 6 months and everything works as advertised, the vibration on the ears is actually really cool for single player games when maxed out and can also be useful on Warzone when on the lowest level. Sound quality I found more than adequate, unless you’re a pro player or 24/7 streamer, the Kraken V3 offer plenty of soundstage for both single player immersion and multiplayer matches with good quality sounding microphone, they’re also decent for music listening for hours on end. Battery life i found decent as well, the longest gaming sessions for me these days are just under 4 hours and ive never had the battery run out with max volume and vibration on minimum, plus you’re obviously leaving them plugged in so they can charge overnight so it shouldn’t be an issue. All in all the Kraken V3 are a great starting point when looking for above average gaming headsets, avoid the Razer pc app and get them on sale, give them to a family member when moving on, youll be happy with your purchase.

I really want to love these headphones because I love feeling the bass. I would stick to my surround sound all the time if it didn’t keep the kids awake and feedback to voice chat, so I use headphones a lot. Personally, I like wired headphones because there is little to no chance of interruption or delay when something else wireless takes priority. So, seeing these Kraken V3 Pro Hypersense give the feeling for bass and wired option I thought they would be a perfect headset. I was wrong. First off, be fully aware that if you intend to use these for Xbox, they are wired only. PC and PS4 recognize the USB dongle without any concern. However, using these wired on Xbox left the sound feeling weak, like there just isn’t enough power to drive them. Secondly, the echo in voice chat is awful. From my side it was fine, but to everyone else that talked, they instantly heard themselves back. I tried this with different controllers, plugging and unplugging everything with the same results. Plus, everyone said I sounded deeper than normal. I consider using these for Xbox a wash. When used on PC it was recognized right away, but to take full advantage of them you need to install the Razer software and THX Spatial Audio. Right off the bat I noticed the sound was better than wired on the Xbox. Even tested the Xbox chat through PC and no echo. The sound was loud and crisp. The EQ option in the software made it even better putting the audio where I prefer. Then I really started testing out the haptics and man it was cool feeling the bass. Watching a movie with lots of action was a different experience. But, then when there is no action is when you notice the problem. You now hear the haptic motors attempt to spin up and all you notice is a sound that reminds me of talking into a set of bed springs. There is this twang type sound as everyone just talks. To make matters worse, I now notice when talking to someone, I can hear that similar twang sound of my own voice vibrating the earmuffs with the mic monitoring. Almost like I had a tin can over my ear while talking. Disabling the haptic option instantly removes that twang sound and makes it really noticeable if you cycle it while listening to something and it has really distorted sounds. Sure, the sound is nice with the haptics disable, but I feel like I have lost half the purpose of the headset. The headset is pretty comfortable, but one of the heaviest I have had. I feel like with that weight, they should have a little more squeezing grip to them as too much motion could sling them right off. Speaking of motion, I don’t advise using these with VR either as the haptics will vibrate the headset, making your screen move and that is where you might be moving around enough to sling them off. They also included some lighting effects that aren’t even mentioned in the manual, but holding the haptic button cycles the settings and using the PC software allows some configuration. Overall, they have the right idea, make it so you can feel the bass. But, the execution just isn’t there yet. Over wireless they seem to perform better than wired but the spring sound of the haptics ruins the audio quality and defeats the purpose of the headset. I can’t recommend these as I would recommend keeping the one feature that increased the price turned off.

These headphones are phenomenal! The quality of surround sound in itself is enough for the price, then to include the adjustable bass and absolutely seamless audio interface.. they’ve gone above and beyond!! That’s to say the least. The Razer Kraken V3 pros are the absolute best pair of headphones I’ve ever purchased. Not to mention how comfortable they are on my ears! WELL DONE RAZER!!!

Our old headset was the Astro A10 and I gotta say, it's like going from a 1990's honda to a 2022 Honda. It wasn't life changing because at the end, they both do the same thing, but oh does all the extra bells and whistle make it so much cooler. LOL. After charging the headset for a couple hours, I was ready to get it set up. That brings me to the first issue. The charging port is a usb-c which is great but because the port was so deep into the headset itself, all the usb-c cables I have didn't fit. Only the one that came with the headset fits. So, if you lose that, then your out of luck. To set it up was super simple, plug in the provided usb dongle to your computer and turn on the headset. That's it. Sign into the razer app and all the features are right there and very straight forward. You have controls over lighting of the headset, the eq level and what was new to me and very cool was the haptic response of the headset. The headset itself is very comfortable. The earpads and padding on the headbands are top notch, super comfortable and so far, hasn't gotten me fatigue or gotten too warm. The microphone is a plug in and people have told me I sounded very clear. I also really like that the mic can be bent in any direction and stay in place. The sound quality is awesome, no more need to be said. I really like the changing colors on the side of the headset, make the room look cool at night. And the best thing, it's wireless. Really like being able to run to fridge or bathroom without having to take the headset off. The build quality from what I can tell is very good. Hoping this unit is durable and last many years to come.

Like the title says; a great set of headphones but inconsistent battery life. I truly do enjoy using these wireless headphones. They're comfortable, have a built-in mute button, volume slider, adjustable sound displacer (for different settings like bass increase etc.), and audio cord jack. They're a very comfortable set of headphones, and I cannot remember a time when I didn't notice wearing a headset for prolonged periods without getting uncomfortable. That said, the battery life on these things has been wildly inconsistent. I'll let them charge for almost an entire day and yet when I turn them on and use them, they can die and turn off within an hour. Occasionally I can turn them back on and they'll stay on for a while, but it feels like every time I use them, they shut down on their own after a pretty short period of time, leading me to often times plug them in while I'm wearing them. This would not inherently be an issue if the cord was longer (it's your typical 3 ft cable) or the port for the cable on the headphones wasn't built slightly into the headphones itself, making it difficult to use longer cords to charge. Maybe the shut-off is an automatic feature I'm missing a toggle for somewhere, but besides that issue, great set. For the price, that is a pretty glaring and irritating flaw, but if it ever improves these would be a perfect purchase for me. As it stands, maybe wait to get them on sale.

These headphones are overall really good. You can either go wired or wireless. One downside is the software doesn't work if you're not using wireless mode with the usb inserted in the pc. Another downside is the lack of bluetooth, but that's just me. Other than that the headset is good, it's got good bass/sound quality, comfortable feel, and a cool design. And RGB, you can never go wrong with that right gamer? Overall recommended headset if it's on discount.

Sounds pretty good, but the headset is a little heavy. The haptic feedback works pretty well when the headset is charged, gets worse when battery low. The battery life is a little bad but that expected with the lights and haptic feedback. Product quality is really nice. Using it with Synapse was a little buggy but I think that’s a software problem.

The Razer Kraken V3 Pro is hands down one of the best gaming headsets I’ve used. The sound quality is amazing, and the HyperSense haptic feedback adds a whole new level of immersion. What I Love: ✅ Crisp, powerful sound – Deep bass and clear highs, perfect for gaming and music. ✅ HyperSense feature is wild – You actually feel the sound, making games way more immersive. ✅ Super comfortable – The ear cushions are soft, and I can wear them for hours without discomfort. ✅ Wireless with great battery life – No lag, and lasts long enough for long gaming sessions. Anything to Consider? Not much, but if you don’t like haptic feedback, you can turn it off. Otherwise, this headset is a beast for both casual and competitive gaming.

    Immersive Audio Headset

Razer's Kraken V3 Pro headset makes it easy to switch from wired to wireless connectivity for different platforms. Adding their HyperSense technology to the mix, audio is clear and immerses you into what you are listening to. The Kraken headphones come with the headphones themselves, a USB C charging cable (not a power adapter), a 3.5mm aux cable, a removable microphone with foam tip, and a wireless USB dongle. The foam around the earcups are leatherette material as well as the foam around the flexible, steel reinforced headband. One thing to note about the wireless USB dongle is that it can only be connected to a computer or a PS5 allowing for wireless connectivity. Unfortunately for Xbox users, the headset can only be used in wired mode and not wirelessly. Other consoles and devices such as a Nintendo Switch and cell phone would need to be used in wired mode as well. (While the Nintendo Switch is on it's dock the the Razer USB dongle is connected to the dock, audio from the Switch can be played wirelessly to the headset). As for the headset itself, there are several buttons to control Razer's HyperSense feature, the RGB color effect located on the outside part of each earcup, the volume (via a slider), and microphone state (mute or on). Out of everything the headset has to offer, I enjoyed the audio the most. The audio is amazing and immersive! The 7.1 THX spatial audio, in combination with the HyperSense tech Razer, does add an extra level of immersion when watching movies and video games. As I fired shots in video games and explosions rung from movies I watched, the vibration from the headset was well balanced. Footsteps from enemies, far away action and shots fired all sounded clear and according to their distance. Razer's HyperSense tech can also be adjusted to your liking by pressing the button on the left side earcup and works by default without having to install any extra software on any device. Although the headset does not have a noise cancellation feature, I noticed the foam cups do a good job of keeping audio inside and around your ears. Outside noise was relatively low while wearing the headset and not playing any audio. One thing I noticed while wearing the headset was that the area around my ears began to sweat due to the leatherette material. While this is not a huge deal for me personally, I do see how others might prefer to have a different type of material around their ears to prevent this. The detachable cardioid microphone also worked well; friends and family were able to hear me well during game sessions. The microphone was able to distinguish my voice and block out external noise from my surroundings (kids running around, people talking) while talking and gaming. Razer rates the battery life of the Kraken V3 Pro at 11 hours with the RGB lighting and HyperSense on and 44 hours while both are off. From personal use, I was able to use them for more or less, two hours a day for five days before needing to charge them (having both HyperSense and the RGB lighting on). I do recommend charging the headset after using it and not during a listening session as the HyperSense tech is disabled during charging. As previously mentioned, what I enjoyed the most out of Razer's Kraken V3 Pro headset is the audio. I recommend this headset for those looking for a great sounding headset or looking to upgrade from their current one for a better audio experience.

Original headset lasted me 4 years, newest model of this headset is “ok” but the V3 addition lasts the longest and feels the most sturdy. The headset does feel pretty heavy for non regular users. The worst thing about this headset is the battery would not hold a charge after the 2 and a half year point meaning you always have to have it plugged in.

I got this headset when my wired krakens usb got destroyed because my foot got caught on the cord and pulled it pretty hard. So naturally I knew i had to get away from wires and buy a wireless headset. I had so many opions but i settled on these becaues i already have a razor setup, and i liked the features. Setting them up was easy and the abilty to change the rgb in the software is great. At first the battery life was fine. I could generally play for 2-6 hour sessions over 3 or 4 days without needing to charge. Sadly the battery life now is just super spotty and ive only had them for a year or so. Also, for some reason, the headset has been more annoying to use because of the software. I wanted to play with the eq, but after playing with it the sound is off and it never feels consistent. I have all the defaults set back to normal. It could be just bad software, or a bad headset. Im thinking a little of both. 2 stars is what im giving it becaues even tho the sound was werid, it still sounds pretty good, the build quaity is also really sold, which suprised me because in older reviews it was a draw back. The only thing that isn’t right is the charging port. Every time it needs to be plugged in, it will make a beeping noise at you. Well the port hasn’t been working on mine, so sometimes that beeping never leaves even when its plugged in.Also they are super comfy with great adjustment, and it says heavy but i disagree. If you wear glasses however do not get these, buy apples earbuds or something else. I also didn’t end up using the features as much. Only when watching something like anime. Also for the price, it should have a bluetooth feature like the novas, seeing as this is a flagship headset. Overall, im sad to say that this wasn’t the perfect headset. All the over razor products are great, but these have a long ways to go to be up there.

Pro: sound is great, the bass-boost when you enable it via the Synapse app is awesome for rockin' out. Decent noise cancelation - not too much, not too little. Comfortable compared to other over-ear headsets I have. Mic works great. Always like a little bling with the lighting. Decent battery life even with base-boost + chatting on the headset. Con: the app is a bloated nightmare, I never use it and purposefully close it when starting my computer. If you turn off the load-with-windows the audio features will stop working. Base-boost is overwhelming with some speaking situations but the app is probably the solution. If you twerk the THX settings, AS THEY RECOMMEND, you will break the app & your sound settings in the computer, and the ONLY solution is a full uninstall-reinstall. Headset will not fully charge... ever. I wear glasses, the creaking of the rubber on my glasses is a bit distracting. Bit pricey for the pain points. Overall: it's a nice headset but I think overpriced given the con's. I don't use other Razer products so I can only vouch for the single headset, not the "interconnected" aspect of the app.

Been using this headset for over 2 weeks now, and I have to say that I'm impressed and not impressed at the same time. I'm a big bass-head and I mainly got these for the transducers that these have that simulate a heavy bass (haptics) -- and they are fantastic for that. The sound on these headphones are also great. Im sure it's because of its "triforce titanium" drivers/speakers. The highs are clear and the lows are punchy. There are two big down sides to these headphones. 1. The connection/ sound cuts off for a braid second at random times while wirelessly connected via its own receiver, which ultimately breaks the immersion. 2. It would be great to be able to use these normally while plugged-in (using a 3.5mm headphone cable), but the haptics do not work in that mode -- skullcandy was able to figure that out. The mic captures a clear voice, although I haven't used it much. With the razer synapse software you can change it's settings and be able to see it's current charge, but it didn't display it correctly. To be clear, when it's charging, it displays the current charge and doesn't register that it is charging for a few minutes, then, after a full charge and unplugging it, the software still displays that it is charging while still displaying that same amount from when it was plugged in. I don't know if it's the synapse or the headphones but communication is not good. It could be my ears, but, compared to the Dolby Atmos sound immersion, I couldn't tell the difference between having the THX off or on. All other settings work though. Overall, for being such an expensive pair of headphones, they are good but not worth the price.

I was gifted these headphones for my birthday and I absolutely love them. I had them for about a year and I love the headphones so much that I decided to buy a second pair. The sound is good, im not audiophile but it gets the job done and probably more. Microphone is also good, my friends can hear it and it can be easily taken out and put back in. The band isnt too tight around the head so it doesnt give me a headache, though there are times that if I am not used to wearing headphones for long periods, it can start to feel tiring. The headphones arent too snug so if you ever pick up something from the ground, they might fall a little. Overall, for like normal use of watching videos, movies, listening to audio and chatting with friends, its a pretty good headset.

I purchased these after breaking the cheaper version of these, as I really liked the sound and fit. Did not disappoint. They are very comfortable and I like the aluminum frame over plastic. I don't think I'll be getting ones with haptics again, but I don't mind it, it makes music sound cool. I don't like how much I have to adjust volume between different games, I'm not sure why that's so different. THX surround sound is alright, not noticeably different from 7.1 on my old ones. Battery life seems good so far, I find they are at 60% after about 4 to 5 hours of use. Coming from wired phones it's been a bit of an adjustment to plug them in. The Bluetooth range is pretty miserable, about 5 feet before you get the occasional crackle or hiss, and about 20ft before they cut out. Not a big deal for me personally. I'm told the mic sounds cheap over discord, but it sounds great on the test playback, so that might be my fault. It's nice that it's detachable so I can pull it off while I do homework and listen to music. Overall I'm happy with them, I bought them at 50% off with a coupon and I certainly would NOT pay full price for them. Wait for a sale.

Pretty good audio, the haptic feedback really does help some music really feel like the bass is kicking harder than it actually is. It can be a bit wonky though for non-bass music. Also, have some issues with connecting and charging, the Razer software likes to forget that the headset is even connected at times. It keeps working but none of the equalizer stuff in-software will work until I restart the PC.

I did a bunch of research online before purchasing this product to compare it from Nari Ultimate Wireless since it was a bit cheaper. I do have Nari Essential which sounds the same as Nari Ultimate minus the feedback haptic feature. Overall, the Kraken V3 Pro sounds the same or better. It does have enough bass even with the haptic off. With the haptic on it feels like your watching a movie. It is very good for movies, music and games. I do enjoy the haptic feature on this headphone. Overall I do recommend it you will not regret it. The sound quality is excellent and bass is more than enough for any ears, trust me, this headphone gets real loud.
