I was a daily driver of the Kraken X and Kraken v3 before I decided to move the Nari ultimate's and commit to using wireless over wired. While I enjoyed the Nari Ultimate, they had a couple key issues that prevented me from enjoying them to the fullest. They were bulky, heavy, and the battery life was abysmal. All three of those issues have been addressed with the Kraken V4. They are probably over 40% lighter, almost half as bulky, and the battery life is incredible. In addition, they've finally moved over to USB type 3 connection and charging vs the old Micro USB in the Nari Ultimate. Over the limited time I've been using the Kraken V4, I have no complaints, besides the steep price point.

Sound quality is good and doesnt have that flakey coating that tends to come off where the headphones make contact around your ears. The only really annoying problem is that its really easy to accidentally push the mute and mode buttons when putting on and taking off the headphones

Excellent sound quality and not too heavy to wear for extended periods of time. The ear pads could be thicker to form a better seal for external noise reduction. Otherwise a good buy.

Setup was a breeze and seems to sound just fine. Charging takes time but that’s just the price of wireless. I’m connected to my gaming PC using the included USB C dongle without issue. Some users have complained about a lack of bass but all this requires is an adjustment of the sound card EQ settings. Is it exactly a Dr Dre Beats tone out of the box? No, but easily adjusted to where you want it to be, and surround sound simulation is great! If it lasts than definitely worth the money

Good headset with surround sounds. The battery lasts forever. The only issues is the lack of any bass. If you’re going from the Nari to this, it will take some time to get used to.

Honestly one of the best gaming headsets I could have purchased! I have used numerous other headsets but truly this one is by the best. The comfort, the range of the wireless, the battery life and all has been a game changer

The Quality of the physical headset is pretty nice. However the Mic is a step back from the newest Blackshark model. Also these headphones will not have Haptic feedback like the V3, unless you shell out another $200. I had no real complaints about the sound quality. Obviously never expect Audiophile from Razer quality but for gaming, They're excellent. But sometimes i felt like i could never get them quite loud enough on console. That might be for the better, Less damage on your hearing. I recommend customizing the sound via your laptop, As many people believe the default options to be rather poorly mixed which i think is fair. Overall i would give them about a B. They just need to fix some stuff.

I love the headphones and they are funtional, my only problem is that the colored led variations require the specific use of the Razer Synapse app, which doesn't seem to work properly. Every time I disconnect from my computer, it resets the color pattern to a very fast rotating rainbow, this can be distracting when im trying to work or focus. Other than the issues with the Synapse app I enjoy all of the features of the headphones and they work excellently.

Had a wired headset, and wanted to go wireless. So far it's working good, had a few issues with vice or game dropping sound, but overall, they have worked for what I need them to do.
