I had the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro for many years and when I moved I had to leave it behind. I got this Kraken, and it really nailed everything I needed. Footsteps are clear, volume adjustment is easy, mic mute and unmute is convenient and more than everything my ears don’t get hot after hours of gaming.

Works just as intended, easy to use the device itself but there was an app used to control the lights built in (Razor Chroma RGB) and I have not been able to figure it out, but it has no effect on the audio or microphone. Just a bit pricey for headphones.

I bought the Razer - Kraken V4 X Wired Gaming Headset because I thought they were a good value for the price. I was right, they sound great! I use them mostly for PC gaming and listening to music on my PC. The USB-A, USB-C is a handy feature to use with my iPhone also. I was skeptical about the surround sound being as good as my 7.1 speaker system, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the bidirectional sound actually worked! Things behind you really do sound clear and help when bad things are happing all around you! The bass response is good, but I did have to adjust the equalizer to add more bass, as I like the effect it has when things explode in my FPS games! Also, the RGB color change on them is really cool to look at even when you’re not using them! My friend who I normally play with online with recommended the Razer head set stand and mouse pad as completes the package! I can easily recommend these Razer - Kraken V4 X Wired Gaming Headset, and really any Razer product because of the quality and affordability!

I love them but there are only 2 issues I have with them: The first issue I have is the headphone width. As someone with a large head (my average hat size is an XL) it took some getting use to to not spread them past the breaking point. I assume after a while of careful putting them on and taking them off they will have some give, but it is a tight squeeze getting them on but when they are on they are comfortable on the ears. My second issue is the USB connector. to begin with, I thought I would have enough length to connect these to the back of my computer and run the cable from there. I do not have the length I would have liked, which is fine since I have front USB ports on my tower, which brings me to the connector issue. When I tried to pull the connector out of the back of my computer the smaller connector came out with leaving the USB part in my computer. With there being other USB devices connected I had to unplug other items to get the very small connector out. There should be a small lock on there, just my opinion. Besides those two minor issues, they are great headphones and have amazing sound (both in 7.1 surround sound and regular sound) and the cushions are soft enough for long game sessions with minimal fatigue.

Great sound quality and very comfortable when wearing. The microphone is weird though. People talking in the room are picked up at a whisper while the microphone hardly picks up my voice. Often I am told that I am very quite but the kids playing in another room with the door closed is overwhelmingly loud. Tried adjusting all the settings, nothing helped. Bought a pop filter and it seems to help with background noise but still doesnt pick up my direct talking well. Definitely going back to Logitech. Aside from the headset everything else I use is Razer just disappointed in the headset.

Very comfortable and the connectivity is impressive, the quality of audi is amazing, would definitely buy more products of this brand.

Very comfortable headset and the sound quality is great. The only con which is actually just personal preference is that it is so good at blocking out external sound that I can't hear what's going on around me or anyone trying to get my attention.

I’ve used various headsets from very high end to cheaper ones and the high end ones are a bit too loud or too much bass for gaming so these are perfect for me! Perfect balance between loudness and clarity while gaming

Excellent headset. I’ve gone through a lot over the years and this is by far the best one! Sound is crisp and clear. It’s easy to set-up with too. All you have to do is plug in and go!

The Mic Monitoring (Side Tone) is too quiet to hear over any other playing audio, even at 100%, which is a big downside for me as a home recording singer, and occasionally the microphone will glitch out and make weird noises that require me to restart my pc. Other than that, the audio quality is great and the 7.1 surround sound is comparable to the THX Spatial Audio in my old Razer Kraken TEs. For 60 bucks it's not bad.
