I'm not really a review person but I feel you all should know about my experience with the Razen Headset. Let start with the pros, Pros: Great sound Comfortable Easy mute Extendable attachment cord Cons: Material (the plastic has to be 3D printed, one small tap and they crack until the hed set is in parts) I know that there is only one con but it is a major one. I had to but ducktape to hold t together. I can't adjust the headset for my head and it is just very uncomfortable now.

Headset was pretty good comfort wise but other than that, theres nothing really special about them. Sound quality was average and had the same quality as a pair of dollar store headphones. Mic seemed decent. Listeners said they could hear me pretty clearly. Downloaded the 7.1 surround sound software that came with it. Sounds that should be from behind came through as middle bottom. So you can imagine the difference by thinking of someone talking behind you but it sounds like they're talking below you. No problems with sounds from the front. Left side ended up breaking when trying to extend as seen in the pics. Would only recommend if they were in the $10-$25 range.

With the advance of technology, I thought by this time, people knows how to design a well verse of the headset but it isn't so. I bought the G432 from the Logitech and after a few months, one of the earcup went dead. I bought another Mpow 071 headset, everything seemed perfect but it crushed my ear after an hour wearing. Finally I bought this yesterday and I was wearing for an hour and it was so good so far. It's comfy for my ears and the volume is loud enough for conversation with my customers since I work as a customer service from home and I need a good headset to carry me through the day. The only thing I don't like about this is the "control volume button" and "the mute button" are small and above the earcup and it's hard to reach. The G432 has a better idea by making "the mute button" and the flip to mute function is handy and not a distraction while wearing the headset. I had no issues with pain or pressure on my head or ears and felt that the padding was good for the design.

Cracking after 2 Months, Warranty Denied

These headphones have fine sound and mic pickup. I like the longer cord and that they included a splitter since I have a PC with separate headphone and mic jacks. However, after barely 2 months of ownership, the inner headband that connects to the ear is cracking on both sides. One side is cracked badly enough that I have to push that side completely down so that it doesn't get any worse. I contacted Razer about this since I'm past the return policy for Best Buy and Razer denied the claim saying it's due to customer use and it wouldn't be fair to replace them because I didn't buy their RazerCare plan. Apparently I should have added that on because then they would cover these headphones. I'll just keep using them until they fully break but at the rate it's going, that might be within a month, but never again with Razer.

I've had this headset for a little over a year now. It has mostly performed as expected in this price range. I like that it has a mute button behind the left ear. However, my mute button gets stuck regularly since I first got the headset. Today, the headset fell off of my desk onto carpet and the head band cracked. It's pretty much useless at this point as the fit is no longer snug. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere for an inexpensive gaming headset.

This headset is prone to breakage on the headband. Purchased this. In less than a year the headband cracked (no misuse, hair products, etc). After initially refusing, Razer relented and replaced the headset. Then less than a year later, the same break occurred, Again, not misused, dropped, etc., or large cranium-lol. This time Razer was very firm. In effect, saying too bad. So staying away from Razer.

Comfortable fit. Easy mic placement. Probably has greater dynamic range than I was able to achieve given the device I was connected to. Razer has a downloadable free upgrade to surround sound that I have not yet used.

Honestly I didn't think these would be much different from previous headsets I have used. But after fellow online gamers shamed me into buying the Kraken. I couldn't be happier, I hear other player moments mush clearer, which adds up to more kills. I am now ok with all the "told you So"s .

I love this item. However, cats can chew on it easy. Be careful and keep away from animals. Mic breaks super easy. Other then that, it’s super comfortable and super easy to use.

Very comfortable, bought them for my first gaming set up, and there are better options always. But to start with and buying something with no regrets, these are good headphones. Only downside is how the earmuffs don’t colapse in to make them slightly more portable.

    One Year In, Falling Apart

I bought this headset in Jan. 2021. This headset was used sporadically through the year to now, maybe two or three times a week. The left earphone's inner plastic that slides up in to the main head portion has cracked and the earphone no longer stays against my head. The part that agitates me is I have a pair of $9 headphones that I use multiple times throughout the day, every day, that arent even close to falling apart, let alone even showing wear. Look for other options in this price range because it seems the plastics used on this headset are not the best.

If you do purchase get the product replacement plan don't make the mistake I did and try to use factory warranty they will not fix or replace cracked headsets. Multiple Cracks after 3 Months and Razer does not cover this under factory warranty. Only a good purchase with the Best Buy Replacement plan. Other than that the sound quality and mic are real good but durability is a massive deal breaker.
