Customers find value in the Lancehead Tournament Edition's comfortable design, vibrant RGB lighting, and high-quality build, frequently praising its precise sensor and responsive performance for gaming. However, some users noted the size may not suit all hand sizes, and a few experienced issues with the side buttons and software. The mouse's excellent feel and customizable DPI settings were also highlighted as positive aspects.

Perfect mouse for me

I have more than a few gaming mics around but only had one previous Razer mouse and that was the Death Adder (older model). Over the years one of the left macro buttons became worn out and I figured it was time for an upgrade to match my other 3 chroma devices together. I was torn between the Lancehead TE and the Mamba TE. Both have similar features and I really liked the lighting on the Mamba. However, at the Best Buy store they had the Mamba on display. My hand just was not comfortable on the mamba style.
So, I bought the lancehead TE and feel I made a great purchase! The movement is oh so smooth. The lighting is bright and beautiful too.
And the comfort of this mouse isnt too much different from the Death Adder. My hand fits around it well and its very comfortable.
The overall look and feel of the Lancehead TE is great and this will be my mouse for years!

I really wanted to like this mouse. I thought it would replace my G403 and make me want to use Razer products again. Despite using they Razer Synapse software again just to use this mouse (I used to use the DA:Chroma regularly), the mouse was quite responsive and very comfortable to grip. HOWEVER, this mouse is quite hefty despite the advertised 104g weight on the box. Theoretically, the DA:Elite is about the same weight but the weight distribution of that mouse makes it feel light than the implementation on the Lancehead. I could aim quite well but the back of the mouse was pointing my mouse upward whenever I picked and swiped. Lastly, THE SIDE BUTTONS: they are mushy and have quite the pre-travel when actuating them. They remind me of the side buttons of the Zowie EC2-A series only these buttons are slim and quite spongey. Overall, for $80 (wired!) I was expecting maybe something that was more balanced and not as heavy. Too bad :-( I (refunded the mouse shortly after).

Very nice mouse with rgb lighting. Only thing is that it’s a little big for my hands and it’s not as easy to use as the Logitech g903

This Razer mouse is one of the best I have ever owned. Great weight, smooth gliding and nice form to grab onto in any FPS. It doesn't overwhelm you with buttons, just has a couple extra on the side and a scroll wheel button - perfect. I can quickly adjust the DPI on the fly which helps when sniping!
Overall a really good gaming mouse.

If you have large hands check out the deathadder elite, but it was too big for me and hurt me; this one, while a bit pricier, is just perfect, and the rgb strip on the sides is awesome.

So I have been in the market for a left handed gaming mouse for a while now and there are not many good options. But this one is very good and suits my needs very well.

I have small hands but am pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the Lancehead is. The fact that it has a lower arch than Razer's Mamba or DeathAdder really helps. While I disabled the right-side buttons for general use, I don't have issues hitting them accidentally while gaming, which is more than I could say for other ambidextrous mice I've used.
The main point of contention for this mouse, and most other Razer hardware for that matter, is the Synapse 3 software. I think it's a case of the company trying to do too much with it, which is causing the package to become bloated and buggy. In Razer's defense, any major issues that have cropped up in my usage of Synapse have been rectified in subsequent updates, but I know lots of people continue to have problems with it. I would be remiss to mention the online/cloud aspect to the software. While it's great to have profiles stored remotely so you can transfer them to new devices and such, if the servers are down, it can lead to other problems. I would encourage Razer to give users the option to disable all online functionality from Synapse if they so choose. Still, I would rank Synapse as easier to use overall than Corsair's iCue in terms of creating custom lighting profiles and such.

I have been gaming for many years and loved my razor naga’s perfect shapes and its multi button versatility. After checking out various gaming mice for months, I did not like the new nagas shape even tho the interchangeable sides seemed like a great idea but it just didn’t feel right. So after deciding on a mouse- the razer basilisk, Best Buy did not manage to restock the mouse I wanted for 3 months. So I got a deal on the “lance head” - and what seemed like settling, became a great decision as I love the shape of the lancehead with its non slip sides. Perfect button arrangement for 1st person shooters and lightning fast response. The optical sensor on my old naga had times when it did not interpret fine color lines on a mousepad and sometimes get stuck, but it’s left button giving out was in the end why I had to part with my naga. I have not regretted my lancehead purchase for one second.

I am so happy I trusted my gut and went ahead and purchased the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition mouse! I was on the verge of buying the death adder elite and for some reason I was drawn to the lancehead. I have had the mouse maybe 5 hours and this mouse is everything I could ask for and more. Its super comfy to hold and maneuver. I have super small hands to begin with and this is maybe a small to medium mouse and it fits my hand perfectly. I had the deathadder chroma once and that thing was nice also but was big so I got rid of it and went with the Corsair Glaive for about a year and just sold it and bought this and Im sure glad I did! If you are on the fence about getting this mouse, just pull the trigger and go for it!

This mouse is absolutely great in every aspect. I was previously using a Deathadder and a Corsair M65 and this one takes the cake. Great design and my hand doesn't start hurting 15-30 minutes of use. I recommend this if you have small to medium size hands or are left handed. If you have large hands, go with the Deathadder.

Never buy Razer mouse before, but it was solid. Have great feel when you hold the mouse. Clicking noise is quiet. RGB light effect is easy to setup. For myself, I like the gunmetal color than black.
