I am writing this review to help people who pull this soundbar out of the box, plug it up, and frown when they hear the initial sound that comes out. Let me help!!!
This is an amazing gaming soundbar but with that being said you must tinker with the equalizer settings within the Razer Synapse software to get this soundbar to the sound quality, bass, tremble, etc. that you wish. Out of the box it will sound very weak and flat. It is a gaming soundbar designed to be tweaked to a user's preference on many levels of audio wants and needs. So it would be a great time to learn how equalizer settings work. You'll enjoy adjusting each level specfically for this soundbar is capable of incredibly clear sound.
Once you tweak your settings the V2 sounds absolutely amazing. Crisp sound with plenty of bass. The THX spatial surround tech is pretty cool also and I like it in video games - especially games with a lot going on at once such as RPG/RTS/FPS.
I personally use the soundbar with the THX spatial option enabled and with the equalizer set to "THX". This works well for games but for music I use the "stereo" option with my custom equalizer settings. It took me about 45 minutes to get the sound to where I wanted it to be.
The RGB lightning is amazing and it's a nice glow around your gaming area. You can adjust the brightness in the Razer Synapse software. At 100% brightness the lighting does not interfere with my gaming and I find the glow very attractive.
The subwoofer is quite nice. It is big and loud and thumpy once tweaked. I have it sitting on the floor on top of a hard surface. I personally think it's too big to be on top of the desk and I think subs deliver better on the floor.
I hope this review was helpful!

I recently upgraded my office setup with the Razer Leviathan V2 2.1 Bluetooth Gaming Speakers, and they’ve been a fantastic addition. From the moment I unboxed them, the premium build quality stood out — solid construction with that sleek black finish and customizable RGB lighting that adds a lot of personality to my desk without being overbearing.
Sound quality is where these speakers truly shine. The 2.1 setup delivers rich, immersive audio with clear highs and detailed mids, and the subwoofer provides surprisingly deep and punchy bass for its size. Whether I’m gaming, listening to music, or watching movies, the sound feels balanced and immersive, bringing out subtle audio cues in games that I hadn’t noticed before.
Connecting via Bluetooth was effortless, and the wireless pairing has been stable and reliable. I also appreciate the physical controls — they’re intuitive and easy to access, which makes quick adjustments painless. The RGB lighting is completely customizable through the Razer software, and syncing it with the rest of my gear gives the entire setup a cohesive look that’s hard to beat.
Overall, the Leviathan V2 speakers have exceeded my expectations. They’re powerful, stylish, and perfect for anyone who wants quality audio without needing a massive, complicated system. Highly recommended for gamers, desktop setups, or everyday entertainment.

Gets absurdly loud and remains clear and crisp. The subwoofer is insane on this setup, so much so that it’s too much. There is no separate subwoofer control, so the only way I was able to make it less boomy was the use the EQ settings. Looks great and very easy to set up. Overall I’m very satisfied with this and I think you will be too, just find the eq settings that work best for you!

I purchased the Leviathan to replace some older speakers I had for my PC. The sound quality is very good for the desk space and if you have room under your monitor to fit the bar, it is the perfect spot. I'm not sure I would use this as a replacement for an actual headset, however I do find myself playing single player or immersive games that don't require communication or the small nuances of footsteps, or faint audio cues with these with a good result. The subwoofer is powerful and has a smallish footprint as well, but works well in concert with the audio from the bar. If you have other RAZER products this syncs well and the settings get pretty intense inside of synapse.

The bass in this was soooo gooooodd!! I originally got it for my pc but honestly it feels good enough to be for my living room. I never put it past 13 on volume since it’s so loud and clear.

Sound bar and subwoofer sound great. Requires a bit of tuning with the EQ and messing around with some settings and windows. But once that's accomplished the sound is amazing and the volume is extremely high. The little subwoofer puts out a lot of bass as well surprisingly. Would definitely recommend

There are settings that make it underwhelming, but once that was cleared up it's pretty great. I have it connected to my PC with USB and then with my Mac with Bluetooth.
When I first connected it I was using only the PC and had almost no bass whatsoever. It was the fact that I'd enabled the a setting called "centered audio" or something similar to that (not looking at it at the moment). I even considered returning it but once I connected the Mac w/ Bluetooth it was really great. So then I started the quest of figuring out why it didn't sound so good on the PC.
That all said, once I turned off that setting the bass sounded great (better than my old Logitech THX system). My only other grievance is that it doesn't have a line-in option, but that is fairly minor.

Fantastic sound, easy setup, works well with my other razer products. I have over the ear headphones with a mic for when I want to play games that require me to interact with other people, but sometimes I just wanna kick back and play with the speakers on. This is fantastic for that purpose, very good sound, and with the THX features they sound great. They can also be turned up loud enough that I can listen to music throughout my whole house if I wanted to. Pretty great so far, after about two weeks.

Bought it because I wanted less wires to manage as far as my desktop setup. It's doing its job, but as far as the product itself the bass is so great on this set up. You can feel it in you body. It's definitely changed the vibe and feel of games. FYI try to keep the system volume at 25-40. 50 is still loud

Price is a little high, but this soundbar does sound really good. Nice amount of bass and good mids and treble sound. The RGB lightbar is a nice effect and the razer software is easy to use. Only downside is there is no aux port so it can only be connected through Bluetooth or the usb cord.

I bought this to replace the Altec Lansing speaker system I have had for probably close to 30 years. It's been an amazing system but the sub finally went out on it. I'd been trying to find a system to replace it and had originally bought a set from another manufacturer and the sound was terrible. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to find anywhere that actually has systems setup where you can hear what they sound like before you buy them so I read a ton of reviews on different systems before deciding to give these a try. The setup was pretty easy and pretty straight forward. Once I get it plugged in my system installed the correct software and I was able to customize the setup. The sound was pretty flat at first but once I went through and customized the sound the way I wanted. The bass is incredible and the sound has good depth to it once you customize it to your liking. Not sure why they don't do a better job of that in the default settings. I use them to mostly listen to music and I haven't been this happy with a purchase in a while. Recommend for anyone that's looking to up their computer sound game.

Great sound quality. Saves spave on desk. For a sub and 2 speakers with sound bar, with its Spatial THX effects it simulates 3d sound almost like 5.1 surround sound speakers. Good price point too. Works with RAZER SYNAPSE nd RAZER Cortex

This is the best PC sound bar I've ever owned plus the only PC sound bar I've ever owned but buyer beware you have to buy the "THX spatial audio" program separate for $20 they don't tell you that but it is worth it That's the only thing that makes this sound bar so good.
