It works just as advertised, i also own the viper ultimate but i wanted another dock for my death adder v2 pro i use at work (also works great with any of the newer razer mice that do not include a charging dock such as the Naga Pro and Death Adder V2 pro). These things are so great for charging so you don't need to fumble around for the cable and such. It charges quickly and gives you a color coded read out as it charges to let you know what the level is (see screenshot of software). I see a lot of negative reviews here for saying its barebones etc. I think there is an initial confusion of the fact this is just the charging base itself and does not include the cable. The cable that comes with your mouse works for it no problem and if you already have a mouse that's compatible your using it to charge your mouse already anyway so its no big deal to swap it over to the dock. The cable that your using also has in large print "TOP" on it so the other review that says you can plug it in the wrong way is a bit excessive simply read the cable and your fine. Included pictures of the box with dock, DA v2 pro on the dock charging, my setup all lit up and color matched, and the dock screen in the synapse software to show the options you have with it.

Straight forward review. Is exactly as advertised. Links up nicely with Razer Synapse. Charges mouse efficiently. Colors change based on % mouse is charged.

Definitely male charging my mouse more convenient. I used to disconnect the 2.4 extender then plug in my mouse. Now all I have to is set on top this. I honestly don’t know how I lived a comfortable before this product. Amazing, must buy if you have a wireless Razer mouse.

If you own the Razer wireless mouse, this dock is a must and worth every penny. I almost mad the mistake of getting a generic, but this is so much better because it ties into the Razer ecosystem.

This is really helpful, its a dock for the mouse and gives some lighting for the desk. The USB port for wireless dongle is also a handy addition.

Works perfectly and the chroma lights are a nice touch, however it can be difficult for me to properly allign my mouse to actually charge since there is mo kind of guide on it

Brought this to charge my wireless razer mouse and it works perfectly. Love the non stick sticker thing on the bottom that keeps it firmly in place on the desk. Lighting looks great!

I really wanted to give this mouse dock at least 4 stars, but unfortunately there is a function issue that is not explained nor expressed on Razer's website. In fact the opposite is implied. The RGB lighting will not work, despite it stating it does not need the synapse software, without it being plugged into your computer. In other words, you cannot use the RGB lighting using an external power source such as a power brick. Though this is not the dock's main function, it is a key aspect to its design and appeal. That is the main reason for the two stars, it would be lower if this were a lesser product. The mouse will still charge if the dock is connected to something like a power brick and the mouse's RGB indicator lights still work. When plugged into your computer you will appreciate the dock's lighting ambiance as well as its functionality. You simply place the mouse on the dock and walk away, that simple. It feels pretty solid and the mouse really does just fall into place. If you are using a mouse with the 2.4 USB I do believe you can connect this dock to your computer, place the usb receiver into the dock and the mouse will work from there, instead of needing to take up two ports. Which is also a pretty good feature and an added benefit to this dock. As stated, if it were not for the RGB design flaw I would rate this mouse dock at least 4 stars if not 5, but alas I am not one for promoting a product that has an implied feature and it ending up. not to be the case.

Easy to set up and pairs with chroma. Charges the mouse quick ad well. A must have for any razor mouse.

Absolute necessity if you have any Razer wireless mouse. It just improves the entire experience and adds a nice touch of RGB to your setup as well.

If you have the razer wireless mouse you definitely need to get this. Just put your mouse on it and you don't need to worry about wires. And the RBG is a plus.

Love I can customize the lighting to be able to tell the charge status of my mouse. I can easily dock my mouse to charge.

I just wanted to write this review to address other negative reviews commenting on how "difficult" it is to actually dock the mouse. I have had 0 trouble with this. The mouse magnetically connects, and holds in place just fine. A fair warning, as I'm sure you've seen from other reviews, the dock doesn't come with the cable needed to plug it into your computer. While it isn't Ideal, it shouldn't matter as you should already own the cable from your mouse. Like I said, not ideal, but it definitely shouldn't be the deal breaker I see others making it out to be. All in all, it works as intended. A nice way to clean up your desktop, removing wires. The LED light points slightly downward, allowing it reflect off the surface of your desk a bit. It is very bright, but can be adjusted in Synapse, just like the mouse you are buying it for. I would definitely recommend this product if you need to charge your wireless mouse without a cable. Which, I'm assuming, is the reason you bought a wireless mouse in the first place, to get rid of the cables. A final plus is, since you connect the 2.4 dongle into the dock, it brings the dongle closer to the mouse. This gives it a more reliable connection.

Love the rgb and love how easy it is to charge my mouse. Simple to set up and to use

Works very well, my first one had some kind of malfunction where it randomly disconnected but no issues with my second one.

If you buy a Razer wireless mouse you have to buy one of these docks. The entire point of the wireless mouse is to get rid of cables, but having to plug the mouse in defeats the purpose. So, being able to easily slap the mouse down onto this dock overnight is the only way to go.

Used to use it all the time until the cat kept knocking it off the chrager as soon as id leave my desk... now i just keep the mouse plugged in

This works great for my Razer Death Adder V2 Pro. Charges it and indicates what level it is charged. Great product that also holds the usb wireless receiver for the mouse.
